We are looking into improvements that can be made to the Primo VE form, such as:
- Add a custom notice or message to the form
- Improve the form fields’ responsiveness to the requested format (book/article and physical/digital)
- Look into ways to enhance the configurability of the look and feel for the form

An error occurred while saving the comment A Rowe commentedHaving an Abstract resource type for this sort of material would greatly reduce user confusion.
We often find the current use of the resource type Article on Abstracts confuses users who contact the library to complain that they can't get the full record only to be told that the abstract is the full record. -

Hello,
After a meeting with Austlit it is clear there is more efforts required for preparing the file for adding it to CDI.
We will have more updates during the coming months and probably have a more accurate timeline during Q3.
Kind regards,
Tamar

An error occurred while saving the comment A Rowe commentedIt would be so valuable to be able to analyse all of the searches our users are performing. So useful in understanding user behaviour.

An error occurred while saving the comment A Rowe commentedmaking the filter options static - including the persistent (lock) option- would go a long way to improving the usability of facets for users.
Too often we hear from students that they didn't know the system could do that. Static filter options (include, exclude, persistent) would enable users to see exactly what the system can do. -

Dear Community,
This is to update you that we plan to develop this requirement in a future Alma release.
The PO line price could be automatically copied to the item's "Replacement cost" field in the following scenarios:
- Upon PO line creation
- When changing the PO line price
- When adding or removing items to/from the PO line.
We plan to allow this by settings 2 customer parameters:
(1) One that will turn the functionality on and off, and will have the following values:
0- false
1- copy the price from the PO line's "List price" field
2- copy the price from the PO line's "Net price" field and divide by number of items in the "Ordered Items" section.
(2) Another that will allow to add or reduce amount from the PO line price when being copied to the "Replacement cost" field. This will allow:
- To add/decrease amount…A Rowe supported this idea · -

We are considering incorporating the idea and effect both templates and rules editing permission
A Rowe supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment A Rowe commentedI agree. Another way this could be done would be for ExL to introduce a Rules Cataloguer role, so that we can assign this to only those staff that need to use rules. Most staff with the Cataloguer role do not need to use rules.
It would also be good to distinguish between staff that can run a rule over a record such as a Use Only role, and staff that can edit and delete rules. -

We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.

Researchers often want everything on a topic. Expanding results gives them unnecessary additions to filter through. Having a way to search without search expansion would greatly improve the researcher experience.
