It will be possible to maintain ongoing link between the role profile and the user record, so that you can use the template to assign a predefined set of roles to a user, and any further changes to templates will automatically affect the linked users' allowed roles.

Note - multiple profiles may be assigned to a user.

It will be possible to view  the list of profiles an account is liked to for inheriting its roles, and to remove/add more profiles.

A regular use case for us is that we set expiry dates to the roles we give our fixed-term student assistants, but many of them return the following year. Currently we have to manually edit the dates for each of the roles for each of the returning assistants. It would save a lot of time to be able to just update the role, and have the updated expiry dates flow through.

Our use cases might be a bit different but the general idea is similar enough I'm commenting here rather than starting a new thread.

The background is that a) we're starting Leganto with a small trial only and b) we have very few, very busy staff, so it's just not practical to have everyone log into Alma every day on the off-chance there's something they need to do.

We can set up Analytics reports to email, but these will always be about two days out of date.

So what we need are direct/immediate email notifications, specifically:

    * Our short loans staff need to receive email notifications (preferably to their shared email inbox, which isn't a personal login account) of new books added to lists - we've configured these to automatically get the "Ready for Processing" status so these show up in that tasklist.
-Alternatively we'll try to encourage lecturers to add a note to library on these items so an email notification of these notes would help. But we can't always rely on them to remember, so a notification on the status would be preferable.

    * Our copyright staff need to receive email notifications of anything in the "Citation has a New File" and "Copyright waiting for approval" tasklists

    Hi,

It will be possible to configure the system (with a utomatic renew rule output parameter to say whether to send an email to the patron when renewal takes place.

If emails are sent, they will be sent in an aggregated manner (single notice for all renewed loans)

Since this hasn't come out in Q4, can you provide an update of when it will?

Can I add all my votes to this?

Users search for journal articles by article title all the time. If the results page blithely tells them "The library doesn't have a physical copy of this item," how are they to know a) that in fact we do have it and b) in order to find it they have to search for the journal title and then check the volume/issue numbers?

This is probably the biggest barrier we have to people finding the papers they need - the entire purpose of a discovery layer.

Ease of setting up/maintaining normalisation rules is one of our key requirements for moving to Primo VE so this is very important to us.

Speaking for my library, we want to be able to move the "Send-to" section below the "Get it" section.

I've got some neat Angular from another library that lets me switch pretty much any other section. But when I try to switch Get It and Send To, it gets very confused about where to put the 'sign in' message (this appears to be calculated by assuming Get It will always be second in order....)

We have a lot of users who think they have to use the arrows to change the year by 1 at a time and don't realise they can retype it at all. :-o
