Add Archives Unbound constituent collections to Alma
The Archives Unbound database is link in record. There are more than 200 collections within the database and we own only some of them. We have not enabled CDI for Archives Unbound because there would be too many false positives in Primo search results. As it stands, content in Archives Unbound is not discoverable for our users in Primo.
Can you add the constituent collections as separate databases or as portfolios in the Archives Unbound collection? That way, we would be able to activate them for CDI and our users could discover them in Primo. Note that something similar has been done for ProQuest's Digital National Security Archive (DNSA).
Hello,
It appears we are still missing two collections:
- Archives of the Work Projects Administration and Predecessors, 1933-1943
- Food History: Printed and Manuscript Recipe Books, 1669-1990
We are working with Gale to add these missing databases.
Kind regards,
Tamar
