Add the ability to hide a title from E-journal portal public view in the Client Center
When "we subscribe to only some of the titles in this database" is selected then titles have to be manually updated. We would like to be able to not check that box so that the collection is updated and maintained automatically, but we want to be able to hide individual titles from public view.

Search within Summon Admin Console
The list of features available in the Summon Admin Console has grown large and it can be difficult to find the setting you are looking for. It would be helpful to have a search bar in the navigation bar on the left that searches all the pages and can help locate the desired setting.

MUSIC Content Type in Summon
It would be very helpful if Summon could separate music sound content from audio books/spoken word recordings and even from streaming audio. It would finally allow our music users to be able to limit their searches only to music relevant products.

Language-dependent custom panels
It would be a great addition if custom panels were language dependent and you can set that in the Client Center directly and easily. This way German contents would be displayed on the German side and English contents on the English side. The tool with Wikipedia already works like this.

Option to toggle WoS / Scopus citation counts in search results
It would be good if we could choose to make either WoS or Scopus citation counts visible in Summon, instead of having to have either both or neither switched on.
Because we no longer subscribe to WoS but do subscribe to Scopus, the only way we could get WoS citation counts removed from the Summon search results was to untrack Web of Science in Intota. We don't like to untrack resources that we've previously subscribed to, because doing so means we can't see any of the historical data attached to Web of Knowledge collection databases. This is just how Intota…

Add geographic facet to the results page
The ability to limit the search on the results page with a geographic subject facet. This would allow users to search within their results for items on regional specific items.

Initiate Best Bets from the Resource.
It would be simpler to add a check-box for Best Bet and text box to insert the description to the resource activation, than to enter that same information separately. Also, the Best Bet would then use the same version of the URL that the link resolver uses, and it would be updated when that URL changes in the Knowledge base.

Primo Style Search Profile
We would love to see a feature similar to the Primmo Search Profile (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Documentation/Primo_VE/010Configuring_Search_Profiles) included in Summon. As a Summon over Alma customer, we would love to more easily be able to link out to WorldCat, highlight our Course Reserves, and more.

Add a French Dictionary/Encyclopedia (3rd search results pane)
As a francophone (French-speaking) library, we would like to be able to add an authoritative dictionary/encylopedia whose topics can be displayed in the 3rd search results pane. Much like Wikipedia and other encyclopedias.....
Suggestions - Universalis.fr, Larousse.fr, etc.

Show the details of contract with publishers concerning search target
Contents which are searchable in Summon differ per publisher or database.
It will be helpful for librarian if they could confirm the details of contracts about search target or the breakdown of search target in ClientCenter.4 votes -
Signature search
Our users search directly for the signature of a book. It would be a good supplement if this search option were supplemented.

Integrate NII's "cites/cited by" Information to Citation Trail
NII(National Institute for Informatics) provides "cites/cited by" Information.
https://support.nii.ac.jp/ja/cia/manual_result
It is very desireble to integrate this "cites/cited by" information to "Citation Trail", for there is not much Japanese article information in current "Citation Trail".4 votes -

Improve the COinS metadata to include e-book URLs
Add ebook URLs to the Summon COinS metadata so it can be included when importing a bookmark or reference into other systems.
The COinS metadata available in the HTML of a Summon results page includes valuable information such as record ID, title, ISBN but it doesn't include the e-book URL. This is a problem if you want to bookmark items to Zotero, Talis reading lists or other systems.

Best bets and Database Recommender icon differentiation
We use both the Best Bets and Database Recommender features to promote databases in the context of a Summon search. We use the Best Bets feature to promote key databases for a subject and we use the Database Recommender feature to promote databases not indexed in Summon. Due to the tags used, a search will often retrieve both Best Bets and Database Recommenders. We would really like to either be able to customise the icons or have a different icon for each feature?

Intota Consortium Sharing: Status should be inherited on title level as it is on database level
When you cancel a subscription to a single journal in a database in the “parent instance” in Intota and wish to be able to see all data entered (payments etc.) after the cancellation you must choose any other Status than “Not Tracked” for the journal in question. On the other hand, you must choose “Not Tracked” to remove the title from the eJournal Portals belonging to any “child instance” that have inherited the journal through Consortium Sharing. Setting Discovery to “Off” doesn’t solve the problem. This is both illogical and annoying.

Intota: Coverage Date to “Present” in LSH-databases shouldn't be converted to 01/01/1900
When you enter “Present” as “Coverage Date to”in Intota this is converted to the date 01/01/1900 in eJournal Portal. If you leave the “Coverage Date to” field blank, then eJournal Portal shows the end date of the holding as “to Present”. Our wish is that entering “Present” will show up as “to Present” in EJP as well.
