Reminder when opening hours are expiring

When you add standard opening hourse into the Library / Institution calendar it defaults to setting the expiry for the hours 3 years ahead. This is good but it would be useful to get a reminder to move them on when it's getting close to the expiry date.

    I agree with the other comments. Just remove the expiry date for regular hours.

    I agree that this would be useful but better yet, removing expiration dates for standard operating hours.

    When setting standard opening hours in library calendar Alma automatically sets the field "Valid to" for 3 years. But the opening hours do not change very often. This setting also does problems by long term loans, because now the opening hours are valid to october 2024 but the library wants to loan documents to january 2025 (documents bought from some grants and the academic staff is working with these documents for a long time). In would be nice to have a possibillity to set somewhere that library opening hours should be valid for more than 3 year e.g. for 5 years or more.

    Agree with Kenny, why have an expiry date for Standard Opening Hours?

    This is an excellent idea. You don't see the "valid to" date when reviewing your Regular Hours and unless you edit them often, or remember the three year rule, you will look at the Full Calendar and find it has a stopping point with a lot of blank dates.

    I could see the "valid to" dates in the table, but had NO idea how to change them. It IS NOT intuitive if don't need to change your regular hours.
