Authority control task list - ability to exclude certain MARC fields and authority vocabularies
We would like to be able to configure or filter the Authority Control Task List so that only the vocabularies that we authorise are included in the list. Also, it would be useful to be able to exclude or filter out selected MARC fields from the list to make the list more manageable. At present the only way to filter the list is to export it to Excel, which means that you can't work on records directly from the list. A configurable or filter-able list would be much more user-friendly.

The June 2018 Release includes Facets that were added to the Authority Control Task List to filter the lists that appear on the Review and All tabs and enable you to more easily manage the page.

The 245 should not even be in the list as it is a transcribed field, not one that should be supported by an authority record.

Hi All,
we do have a NERS Request (#5396) to have more configuration for ACTL, and would encourage those interested in this idea to vote for this.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
The State Library of NSW would also like the ACTL to be configurable.
Series very rarely have authorities. The Library of Congress stopped creating them years ago. Even if it was just series that was removed, it would go a long way to making the ACTL more useable.
My manager wants to conserve votes, but yes from me it is a no brainer. Many thanks for raising this issue
