Export slips to PDF
Currently, Alma only allows exporting slips to Excel or "printing" to an email address. Please please add an option to export to PDF, using similar output that gets sent to a printer. Seems like it would be easy to add, and would be immensely useful.

Using the ‘Quick Print’ functionality users have the option to print to PDF.

Better than Printomail to print several documents in 1 shot (quickprint seems to not allow this, we can only print one by one document). So, when several document are selected for printing, add then in 1 PDF file, open it on local, and let the user prints it as he wants. -

If a PDF is an issue due to licensing restrictions, at least allow what would be emailed to the email address to be rendered to the client so they can print themselves using a standard print dialog box. The way slips are currently printed is convoluted and prone to all sorts of issues.

I like this idea. It would help reduce pages. Right now our printer prints out multiple pages for each book when printing out report slips for requests, since the excel spread sheets have so many columns. It would be a lot handier to have a list of all the books and their call numbers on one page to give to our students to retrieve the books. I would think a PDF would be more condensed.

I agree. We have the problem that some mail servers reject the html format and transform them in plain text. The mails become unprintable like this.
As the mail server is forced upon professors and teachers, the option to send the letters as PDF would solve a lot of our problems. -

HTML is not a very suitable format for printing; it's hard to control typesetting, margins, etc., and the printed result will vary a lot depending on which HTML processor you use.
I would like to se an option in Alma to send letters as PDF or PostScript instead.
