    Wouldn't it be more logical if 'Sort by year' un-grouped the FRBR group and just sorted the single works by year?

    Found in Alma's Know Issues Fix Schedule (behind the question mark in Alma's top right corner). Hopefully the informations you are missing will also be included:

    120920
    No ISO messages coming into Resource Sharing, including Lending RS requests not received by customers and shipped messages for Borrowing RS requests not received by library.

    Fulfillment
    Scheduled for release 2020 Q3

    I do not agree, sorry.

    When I can change the interface language in my account settings I 100% expect the interface to change to that language when I log in.
    Otherwise you'd have to remove the choice from my account settings.

    But that would lead to the following situation:
    – I change the language to English without being logged in
    – I do _not_ have the possibility to set the language in my account
    – Language stays English for this session

    On another day, I follow the link to the catalog from the library's website, and they explicitly link to the German interface, for whatever reason.

    Or I'm on a public computer in the library, which has the default language set to German.

    As my interface language is now German again, this gets set as the language for my account.

    I understand the other case you describe, though:
    - my browser is set to English or I changed the Primo language to English without logging in
    - I log in and my language switches to German because that is the default setting before I change it in my account.

    I agree with that part.

    For example, when I'm logged in, instead of just
    "Interface Language: English"
    there could be a radio button choice of the available languages, right there in the pulldown menu of the account settings.
