Allow order template to be applied at selection stage rather than in cart
Option to add order template at item selection stage to enable users to fill up their cart with multiple items and check out just once per session. Currently a template can only be added once an item is within the cart; meaning a user must remember each item's requirements and apply the correct template if they have a full cart of items, or have to check each item out individually.

Have the amount listed as "freight" on PDF invoices map to "shipping" by default instead of "overhead." This would be clearer for Analytics.

Include Call Number / Classification information on Orders Awaiting Approval records
The appropriate location for physical materials in our library is dependent on the call number. Our selectors don't know the breakdown, and by the time an offer is awaiting approval, the call number/classification information isn't listed in the task list; an approver would have to go back to the Title in the Market to get that relevant information. We'd like the call number/classification information in the brief results on the Orders Awaiting Approval page to avoid this extra step.

Cart Templates--Approval search
Templates are searchable when ordering titles but they are not searchable once in the approval queue. For instances where a template would be useful and there are many templates to search through it would be great to be able to search the templates in the approval area as well.

Display fund amount in cart and error message if insufficient funds
Currently, selectors are able to submit orders for approval while using funds with insufficient funds (regardless of the overencumbrance being set to yes, no, or limitless). The selector will not see an error message saying that the funds are insufficient for the title.
We would like an option for the available funds to be made visible for the approver when they select the fund, with an error message being triggered upon checkout. Alternatively, it shouldn't be possible to send for approval with an insufficient fund

Allow Split Funding
Please allow us to select multiple funds per purchase order. Our selectors often share costs on purchases. We currently have to place the order on one fund, then edit to split funds after purchase, but sometimes when funding is too low we aren't able to do this.

Include "material type" as an option when creating cart template
Please make "material type" an option in Rialto cart templates so we don't have to edit each newly created POL in order to add that information.

List Functionality Enhancements
enhance list functionality by allowing lists to be archived, by allowing users to change the default sorting on the list of lists to sort by title; allow sorting by title within a list so that Print and Electronic duplicate titles appear together; allow users to be notified when a list is shared with them (either via email or Alma popup)

Cart Templates - make sorting sticky or create facets in left menu that can be saved
The "Sort by" function for Cart Templates is not sticky and the only options for sorting are Creation date (the default) and Name. Once you've navigated away it reverts back to Sort by: Creation date. I'd like to see either facets or additional sorting options and to make the sort option sticky.

Override call number in Analytics
We would like the "override call number" to be a value in Analytics so that we can report on any order that has been submitted with an override call number.

A pause purchasing function
When acquisitions wanted to implement fiscal roll over, there was a challenge ensuring that no additional orders were submitted. A "pause purchasing" option would greatly help administrators in those few days of fiscal roll over.

Use email address to search interested user field
When adding an interested user to the cart, allow for searching by email address. This will better help distinguish users who may have a common, shared name.

"Buy it Now" option in Selection Plan
We received a request for purchase from a patron for an ebook which is in our current batch of selection plan titles in review so if we do nothing it will ship, which is fine.
My question is on the Purchase title button. I had hoped that this would act as a Buy It Now option such that with a click, Rialto would deliver immediately, the selection plan profiled "copy" of the book.
However, It seems that Purchase Title simply moves the order to the firm order workflow, thus requiring manual (or template) entry of the ordering library, fund, report…

Snag bibliographic records without holdings
Because we import our own OCLC records for print items, we must first add a Holding to each record before adding the title to the Rialto cart, otherwise Rialto will not snag that record.
It would be convenient if Rialto could snag records without holdings, and for the purchase process to create the holding(s) instead, as with non-Rialto orders.

Remember Configure DDA settings
If possible, it would be good if a default settings could be remembered for the 'Configure DDA' (i.e. remember ordering library and fund code), so you don't have to keep configuring it if adding titles using the same library/fund.

Next Day Delivery for Non-Serviced Books.
There are instances where we need to get physical copies of books as quickly as possible. Currently we order them from Amazon but would prefer if Rialto had an option for this. Would be great to place urgent orders with no servicing and receive them within 24 hours.

Ability to add reporting codes when placing an order for a unique item(s) to be processed by shelf ready
It would be helpful to have the ability to add a reporting code for item(s) that are being ordered in Rialto for shelf ready processing which are being paid for by a specific department and are classified differently to other items and are only identifiable by the reporting code.

Selectors not notified when title(s) rejected
I have the roles/permissions to approve/reject titles placed in Rialto's select cart. However, when I reject titles the selector isn't notified; as far as they know, it's going ahead. I need to contact the person, list the title(s), and explain why they were rejected. I'm frankly astounded that Market doesn't do this automatically.

Multiple selectors
Librarian selectors like that they can see if a title they would like to order is already awaiting approval. However, they would like to be able to go to the orders awaiting approval and add their name as an additional selector on that item to give it "weight/priority" to order by the Rialto manager. Could there be a way to add additional selector names as a +1 on orders awaiting approval?
3 votesHello Amanda,
Would the ability to add comments to orders awaiting approval cover this request? You could post a comment, tag the approver, they'd receive an email letting them know you've posted a note.
Thank you for your suggestion.
Best regards,
