Citation in text with continuous notes (ISO 690) used in books
I would like to see RCM (Refworks Citation Manager) incorporate the option to use numerical citation with continuous notes, which is widely used in books. As permitted by Standard ISO 690
"The numbers inserted in the text (in parentheses, brackets or superscripts) refer to notes, numbered according to the order of appearance in the text. Notes may contain references to cited resources. If there are several citations of the same resource, they will be given separate note numbers. "
Now it isn´t possible

Please make 'personal notes' visible in full and searchable (as in Legacy).
One of the main attractions of Legacy was being able to save extensive notes in Personal Notes which could then be read at a later date and searched by word or name using the search box. For example, if I wanted to find everything that contained the term 'Reformation', I could put that into the search and find every thing I had read which discussed that term in some way. The new system no longer allows this kind of search nor does it show anything except the first line of the notes. This is a MAJOR disadvantage and makes Refworks…

Allow quick import of public shared folder into user's own RefWorks account
If a user wants to add a public shared folder into their own account, they need to export into a RIS file and import the RIS file into their own account, which takes many steps. It would be helpful to have a quicker way to import a public shared folder. This functioned previously existed in Legacy RefWorks; there was an "add to account" button or something like that.

Field mapping and labeling - motion picture
In the Video reference type the labels ‘Studio Location’ and ‘Distributer/Studio’ are used. However, in the Motion Picture reference type, instead of ‘Studio Location’ the label ‘Place of Publication’ is used.
This is confusing for students. Can the label be modified by RefWorks or alternatively is there a way to customise it locally for our institutional style?
There is also a strange mapping issue between Motion Picture and DVD:
- If you have a record in ‘Video’ ref type format and change it to ‘Motion Picture’, you have to do delete ‘Medium’ and then add it again (otherwise it does…1 vote -
Make save button more prominent
It would be great if the save button on the reference information editing screen was more prominent. For example, it could be a different color, like blue. Right now it is hard to find and I accidentally click the x button at the top instead, which means I lose my work. You could also add a window that asks if you want to save when you click the x button. Thank you.

Search Option in RefWorks
We checked with the RefWorks Support Centre regarding the basic search option settings. The search always prioritizes the joint word over the two separate keywords. To search for the two separate keywords from the title, we need to use the "Advanced Search" option as it provides better refinement of results. Searching for two separate words may not locate such record. However, from the users' perspective, we will simply select some major keywords instead of typing the joint words together every time. Additionally, we will not interpret "Advanced Search" as a search for separate words. Therefore, we believe that there is…

Search Option in Reference Citation Manager
I would like to bring to your attention about a critical issue regarding the search function in Reference Citation Manager (RCM). We have encountered a problem that it is unable to retrieve relevant article records when searching for separate keywords of a title in RCM.
It was also discovered that RCM does not provide an “Advanced” search function, compared with RefWorks interface. Considering our testing and comparison with the RefWorks interface, it is apparent that RCM lacks the necessary functionality to support advanced searching. Users are unable to retrieve relevant records unless they specifically type joint words, which is impractical…
