don't automatically add a bibliography!
I use google docs to write my papers and find it really annoying that RefWorks automatically adds a bibliography entry when I'm adding a reference. Footnotes are included in my institution's word count, but the bibliography is not, so when the bib is automatically added it disrupts my word count and makes it harder to quickly see where I'm up to. Is there any way I can turn this feature off and then just install the bibliography when I've finished the paper? thanks!
I’m happy to notify that the updated RCM version is now available in the Microsoft store; it allows users to turn the bibliography on or off at any time. Users who have previously installed RCM will automatically be updated to the new version.

Though I personally like to see my references added as I go, I know that we've had students who don't want this -- particularly if it slows down performance.

You can just highlight the text of your paper you know, and then do a word count. It will then perform a word count for only that highlighted portion and not the entirety of it including the bib. Pretty easy solution.

Currently when you insert citations using RCM in Word the screen automatically jumps down to the end of the document, where it inserts the reference for the bibliography. If you have a long document, particularly one where you may be going back and editing earlier sections, this gets very annoying very quickly as you then have to scroll back up to where you were in the document. I've had two users complain to me about this in the last couple of weeks. Is it possible for this to not happen or for users to have the option of adding the bibliography at the end of the writing process, like it is currently in WNC?
