Configure the "Citation View" "Settings" icon (the "Gear") to function in the Firefox browser
The "Settings" gear icon in the "Citation View" does not function in the Firefox browser, i.e., the "Gear" icon does not respond to a mouse click. This feature works in Chrome as described in the User Guide and, once set using Chrome, displays the Citation Style selected using the Chrome browser.

Search option for document in google doc tool by Ref ID
In word tool as well as in google doc tool if I want to cite the reference using Ref ID search (which is good new idea) but not able to do it. So not useful due to this limitation.

Importing from Legacy RefWorks doesn't organize them by their orignal folder. I have 171 references that are just dumped into my library.
Let me import my FOLDERS from legacy refworks.

No menu bar above toolbar
The blue menu bar doesn't reduce with the window, resulting in the account and language tab float over the toolbar. It prevents the user to access some tools when using RefWorks alongside other programs, with reduced windows side by side

Include information about RCM within the online RefWorks interface
Currently in the Tools section of RefWorks there is only information on Write-n-Cite. Users are finding this and downloading Write-n-Cite when we are recommending they use RCM instead. Can the information on citing in Word in the Tools section be updated to explain that users can use RCM if they have Word 2016 or later?

APA Output Style
Create an option to truncate or untruncate the output in APA. There are times when a truncated citation in APA format is fine. Other times, I need to have a list of each and every author.

When articles with given tag are viewed, implement sorting by date, author etc as in all refs view or folder view
When viewing references by tag, the 'Sort By' option does not appear: I cannot therefore browse refs e.g. by date (to see most recent articles first)

Clearer web page instructions for creating an alternative password for RCM.
More detail of how to set up the alternative password option would be useful. We no longer recommend using WNC and want to encourage new users to try RCM. The current account management page doesn't make it very clear: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Product_Documentation/RefWorks_User_Guide/0200_Getting_Started_with_RefWorks#Managing_Your_Account

Make <title-short> element in CSL styles searchable from bibliography function
Currently in CSL styles the <title-short> element metadata isn't searched from the Create Bibliography function. For example, searching for APA doesn't return American Psychological Association 7th edition (annotated bibliography) (CSL). Requesting that this be made a searchable element.

Strengthen email verification process
During the recent problems with SSO we've been encouraging students to use the forgotten password option to create an alternative password.
This has highlighted that students often mis-spell or use incorrect email addresses when initially seeting up their accounts.
Despite the fact that on setup RefWorks asks students to confirm their email address, students can bypass verification and potentially go on to use RefWorks with an incorrect email adrress attached to their account.
Strengthening the verification process, e.g. by activating accounts only upon reciept of the confirmation email would help to avoid this.

Make more author name flexibility possible!
Currently, anything that does not follow a strict last-first name format doesn't work in Refworks. (E.g. the citation manager can't handle "Paul VI" as an author.) This seems like it would be so easy to fix by the use of quotation marks or some other indicator to keep the formatting as it is typed by the user. The entire world doesn't strictly follow Western-style naming traditions....

Allow verbatim text from author field
Have the option to remove the automatic 'Last name, first name' format of the author field and instead pipe verbatim text into references. This would especially help when the author is an organisation.

Different sort orders with different reference types
The Cite Them Right 11th edition Harvard style should have films sorted in the reference list by director, not title. But this is not possible because different reference types cannot have different sort orders. Could that be changed?

Field mapping and labeling - motion picture
In the Video reference type the labels ‘Studio Location’ and ‘Distributer/Studio’ are used. However, in the Motion Picture reference type, instead of ‘Studio Location’ the label ‘Place of Publication’ is used.
This is confusing for students. Can the label be modified by RefWorks or alternatively is there a way to customise it locally for our institutional style?
There is also a strange mapping issue between Motion Picture and DVD:
- If you have a record in ‘Video’ ref type format and change it to ‘Motion Picture’, you have to do delete ‘Medium’ and then add it again (otherwise it does…1 vote -

Please add the "Duplicate" [citation] option from Legacy to new.
Please add the option to duplicate a citation from Legacy to new Refworks. I have used it often, and find it a quick way to add similar citations that are not from a literature database. It's the "Duplicate" button from the "Edit" option that I miss already. Thanks.
