  1. Refworks citation manager

Refworks citation manager - the order of folders to narrow the citation selection from 'all references' down to a particular folder should be reversed, such that the most recent folder created, and therefore the one most likely to be required, should be at the top of the list and not the bottom.

  2. Localised variations of referencing styles

Is there a way that our RefWorks accounts can link into the various styles of referencing used by various institutions in Ireland? Hospital staff attend courses in various 3rd level institutions throughout the country and the referencing styles used seem to have localised variations when compared to the styles listed in RefWorks.

  4. Include number of references in file view

Finding a reference is difficult in category view, please make it more easier to spot how many references a material is having when navigating to the contents of a folder or a section.
By having a reference number outside it will be easier to filter just by going through files without need to open then scroll all the way down to find it https://buyessays.us

  6. Assign custom sorting: chronologically, but in 17th ed. Chicago Style-Notes and Bib

While I want my entries to remain in Chicago Style, sometimes it is helpful to sort chronologically, but in more detail than RW currently allows which is only by year then author. I want to order the list more accurately: Year Ascending; Month Ascending; Day Ascending; Author; Title. I realize I can reorder the fields to begin with the full date, but then they are not in Chicago Style. How can I reorder the citations to be truly chronological (as I will have multiple dates within each year), without changing the Chicago Style order of each field?

  8. Configure the "Citation View" "Settings" icon (the "Gear") to function in the Firefox browser

The "Settings" gear icon in the "Citation View" does not function in the Firefox browser, i.e., the "Gear" icon does not respond to a mouse click. This feature works in Chrome as described in the User Guide and, once set using Chrome, displays the Citation Style selected using the Chrome browser.

  12. No menu bar above toolbar

The blue menu bar doesn't reduce with the window, resulting in the account and language tab float over the toolbar. It prevents the user to access some tools when using RefWorks alongside other programs, with reduced windows side by side

  14. Include information about RCM within the online RefWorks interface

Currently in the Tools section of RefWorks there is only information on Write-n-Cite. Users are finding this and downloading Write-n-Cite when we are recommending they use RCM instead. Can the information on citing in Word in the Tools section be updated to explain that users can use RCM if they have Word 2016 or later?

  15. Please make RefWorks for Google Docs compatible with Open Athens (single sign on)

Please make RefWorks for Google Docs compatible with Single Sign such as OpenAthens. Our students don't want to use it since it requires an additional password.

  16. APA Output Style

Create an option to truncate or untruncate the output in APA. There are times when a truncated citation in APA format is fine. Other times, I need to have a list of each and every author.

  17. When articles with given tag are viewed, implement sorting by date, author etc as in all refs view or folder view

When viewing references by tag, the 'Sort By' option does not appear: I cannot therefore browse refs e.g. by date (to see most recent articles first)

  18. Clearer web page instructions for creating an alternative password for RCM.

More detail of how to set up the alternative password option would be useful. We no longer recommend using WNC and want to encourage new users to try RCM. The current account management page doesn't make it very clear: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/RefWorks/Product_Documentation/RefWorks_User_Guide/0200_Getting_Started_with_RefWorks#Managing_Your_Account

  19. Make <title-short> element in CSL styles searchable from bibliography function

Currently in CSL styles the <title-short> element metadata isn't searched from the Create Bibliography function. For example, searching for APA doesn't return American Psychological Association 7th edition (annotated bibliography) (CSL). Requesting that this be made a searchable element.
