Enable search of shared Folders
Searching inside Refworks does not find records in Folders that I Joined in the Sharing area.
Only records in my own account are found by the search. Neither Insitutional nor individually Shared folders can be searched.
The usefulness of Sharing is much less when users can't find what they need in the folder.

Improve sensitivity of deduplication function
I find that even if I use all the deduplication choices "Exact match", "Close match" and "Legacy close match", there are still many duplicates left. I would like a more sensitive deduplication function.

Set default number of records to view
At the moment the default number of results to view is 25. There is no option to change this as a default; you have to change it every time you search. I would like to see it made possible to have different numbers of results as a default.

Transfer the search strategy from the database(s) searched to the results folder we shared with library user(s)
It would be very helpful if we could transfer the search strategy from the database(s) searched to the results folder we shared with our library user(s) - our searches tend to be used for publications and search so the search strategy is very important. If PRISMA diagrams could also be added to the folder, this would also be helpful. Thanks.

Searching comments (sticky notes) in PDFs
Can you have a feature that would allow users to search their RefWorks database for comments (sticky notes) they have written on PDFs? Mendeley has this feature.

Allow searching by PMID in PubMed
It would be helpful to be able to search by PMID when searching PubMed through RefWorks (i.e. through the "search databases" button on the left side of the screen). Sometimes we are searching for specific articles and have the PMID so that would save us time.

Show the record count of ONLY the folder being deduplicated
When finding duplicates in a top level folder, the record count shows the sum of all subfolders too, which suggests that they are ALL being searched (they are NOT at present). If the record count shows only the active folder being searched, it is more clear.

Add WorldCat catalogues to Search Databases in RefWorks New
Our library uses a WorldCat catalogue. We would like our catalogue to be added to "Search Databases" in RefWorks New to enable searching our institutions catalogue from within RefWorks. This is not possible at the moment because RefWork needs Z39.50 and WorldCat uses SRU. So we would like SRU to be added to RefWorks or the possibility to use the WorldCat Search API.

Suggestion about de-duplicate feature
After running the duplicate checker, items that result are check-marked by default. In my view, it would be better that none of them are check-marked by default. Then the user can check-mark just the ones they want to delete, without having first to deselect all the items.

Deduplication of sub-folders, or between folders
I would like to be able to de-duplicate sub-folders, for example where each sub-folder contains the results from a database search for a systematic review.
Alternatively, a user should be able to choose to de-duplicate any two or more folders in refworks.

Improve to DeDuplicate of Non-English References
New RefWorks identifies some Japanese (or non-English) references as duplication even when they are not duplicated.
Improvement of DeDuplication for Non-English language references is expected.21 votes -
