AtoZ databases
Hello Ex Libris support team, This was originally added as case no: 00819126, however one of the migration managers for my Voyager to Alma migration said I needed to add each of the databases I am having issues with as a separate case in the Support portal. I HAVE NOW BEEN ASKED TO POST IT IN THE IDEA EXCHANGE.
There are some databases from MeL that I am unable to find in Alma production environment or the PrimoVE view via Alma prod enviro. I noticed that all the databases not in Alma prod enviro are ones that create datasets or have tests, ie, different than a traditional repository style database. I am NOT technical, so that is just my observation, I have no idea if that is the issue here or not, I figure it is better to give more information and let the experts weed out what is important or not. Note about MeL: the library of Michigan provides databases for all residents of Michigan to use, they are validated by IP address, if MeL doesn't recognize the IP then it will ask for a driver's license ID. Most of the MeL databases have been configured into our Alma production environment and PrimoVE. I really want these databases to be listed when students search for databases or electronic collection or just the name of the database. I am not expecting that the CONTENT of these databases will be accessible in Alma because it consists of creating reports and data sets.
This case: AtoZdatabases, DatabaseUSA
current URL=https://mi.atozdatabases.com/search
Subscription Databases made available to all Michigan Residence via the State of Michigan Library with ILMS grants.
