Your feedback matters to us. Help us to extend our discovery indexes, KnowledgeBases and Community Zone by telling us what collections and data you’d like to see us add, using the message areas below. You can also support something already posted.
If you are suggesting new content for Discovery that is not yet in the Knowledgebase you do not need to submit two entries (one for Discovery and one for Knowledgebase)
Specifically you can suggest:
• New collections for Discovery (Primo Central and Summon)
• New collections for the Knowledgebase (Alma CZ, SFX KB and 360 KB)
• New authority files to be added to the Community Zone
• Enrichment of Community Zone bibliographic records for certain collections

We would love to be able to respond to every idea that is submitted, but this is not feasible. We are, however, committed to responding to the most popular ideas—those that have received the most points.
For more information please review our FAQ and guidelines. Thank you.

  1. The most popular radio stations are on the list, and you can find something special for yourself

Internet radio, also referred to as online radio, is online digital audio transmission over the Internet to an output device such as a CD player or satellite radio. Broadcasting over the Internet is typically described as webcasting because it is not widely broadcast over traditional broadcast media. Rather, broadcasting is from a personal computer and the Internet has become a convenient way of doing it https://internetradiohoren.de/

The first leading radio stations to adopt the online radio streaming format were BBC Radio, which started in the UK in 1998. The public heard the first narrow-scale broadcast of online radio's digital format,…

  2. F-Mesh in MARC21

F-Mesh is a bilingual French/English version of the Medical Subject Headings (Mesh).
We are a French speaking Library network using MARC21. We were very happy to hear that Alma now includes F-Mesh as a subject headings vocabulary. However, as it is available only in UNIMARC, we cannot use it. If you are in the same situation, then don’t hesitate to vote for this Idea!

  3. indexing the content directly from the publisher

Would it be possible to index content directly from the provider? Primarily freely accessible journals from earlier years. I would like to see the journal Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning to display at an article indexing level in Summons. Right now only years 2000-present are displayed in the discovery layer. It does not show the years 1999-1994. Thanks!

  5. Could we add Art & Architecture Thesaurus Online. http://www.getty.edu/research/tools/vocabularies/aat/

It would be great to add the AAT vocabularies to the CZ to enhance and enrich records for and about artistic endeavour.

  6. Web of Science data request for Summon index

We have recently had students using Summon notice that the latest records for the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (one of our most important resources) were not available in Summon. We have some content in Summon now but are still missing the earliest 2018 issue.

Can Ex-Libris please approach Web of Science about receiving metadata directly from them, which would speed up the process of WoS resources being retrievable in Summon?

If you support this request please give it some votes. Thank you.
