  1. Reject input if DOI or citation source URL is incorrectly formatted (Leganto instructor UI)

    We have seen many instructors create citations manually (rather than using Cite It) with the DOI formatted as a full URL (e.g. "https://doi.org/10.1111/misp.12056" rather than just "10.1111/misp.12056"). This prevents the citation from resolving and linking to the resource as expected.

    Similarly, some users will add the citation source URL without the "https://" prefix, or with other formatting issues which prevent it from linking as expected.

    A simple fix for this issue would be for Leganto to detect incorrectly formatted DOIs or URLs and to reject input, displaying a tooltip to inform the user of the correct…

  3. Define specific subject within the URL

    We would like to build a page providing a list of Leganto reading lists for public access. The lists could include specific subject.

    Currently, its not possible to define specific subject within the URL of find lists.

    Suggested to create the public access link which only retrieve specific subject.

  4. Number of participants as a possible field in reading list overview

    In the reading list overview in Alma it is possible to choose the kind of information shown in the table, like code, assignee, status and so on. It would be nice having the numbers of participants as an option as well.

  5. Share "My collection" with other as an extra feature

    To share "My collection" would be a good thing for instructors/librarians who work in the same field of education. It's in some way like sharing your EndNote library.
    "My collection" will contain citations that are not necessarily published in a course list, but still could be of use for others. This regards citations shared from one researcher to another but not necessarily in a reading list and/or citations processed by the library.

  6. My list filter by reading list

    New filter by is only on course code. This needs to be reading list name (not code as most instructors will not know what the codes are).
    There seems to be no reason how you have sorted the filter by course section. This should be changed to alphabetical etc. And done the same for reading list filter.
    There is an issue when scrolling down the filtered list, as this doesn't adjust to different size pages.

  7. Ability to Re-Associate Reading List with new Course after copyright records and completed citations are present in the List

    It would be very useful to be allowed to re-associate and incorrectly associated reading list with the correct course in Alma after work has begun processing the citations inside the Reading List.

    When an Academic associates their Legato Reading list to a Course, in some cases this is done incorrectly and assigned to the wrong course, which needs correcting. It is currently not possible to simply re-associate a Reading List to a new Course if work on that reading list has started, and there are completed Citations with Copyright Records.

    The only workaround at present is to change a value…

  9. Find List Search needs to have a specific Reading List Search Bar

    Currently the Find List search in Leganto is searching for Course Titles and Course codes and instructors. Rather than searching at the Reading List level. As we keep most of our information at Reading List level, It would be helpful if this was renamed Find Course and Make another Search to Find Reading Lists information. Which could search Reading List title, Reading List code, and Reading List Instructors.

  10. Display resource availability for electronic portfolios directly without having to click "View more notes" link

    Availability of Citation electronice resource (e.g. "Available from year|volume|issue...") is not displayed directly on Leganto Citation Details page. User has to click "View more notes" link to un-hide availability. This is inconsistent with the behavior in Primo (Primo displays availablility directly), and take extra clicks for users to find out the information. Please display resource availability directly without having to click "View more notes" link to find it out. Thanks.

    User Story:
    As a course instructor, I would like the electronic resource availability to be displayed directly on Citation Details page, so that I don't have to do extra clicks…

  11. Reading List Folders broken down from Subject faculty then into course then into year

    Briefly, we would like a way to organize reading lists on the Leganto list view beyond being able to search them, for example folders that can contain reading lists.

    Our Business School and Faculty of Medicine staff have told us they have too many courses to manage easily on list view, so have suggested this feature to help organise their lists better. They suggest that seeing only their current year courses on the Leganto home page list view, and their previous years lists in folders.

  12. Better options/formatting when exporting a list to PDF

    Exporting to PDF is a useful function but not very useable as it is:
    A list of 11 citations will turn into a 5 page-pdf, with 2 citation per page most of the time (probably due to too much space in between citations).
    This is clearly not good if one exported the list in order to print it, so this should be reviewed and adjusted.

    We also hope it will eventually be possible to choose a reference style when exporting to PDF (as with Word), once issues in that regard are fixed and the exported lists are judged satisfactory according…

  19. Assign list owners/collaborators in bulk

    The Feb 2018 release enabled us to remove all list owners/collaborators as manual bulk job. Could the same functionality be provided for adding new users?

  20. Add citation ID to enrichment job results summary (Preview records / Events Report screen)

    After running the process and enrich citations job you can view the 'Job Report' containing a summary of resource locate results (Resource locate match found, multiple match found, etc.)

    For each of these result types you can click 'Preview records' to open an Events Report screen, however this is not useful as it does not include the citation ID (the columns provided are course code, section, reading list code and title).

    Could the citation ID be added to this screen.
