Sorting option available for students
Today it is only possible for owners / collaborators to choose how a reading list should be sorted in Leganto (alphabetically by title or author, or "unsorted"), but not for the one who sees the list after publication (= usually students).
They might prefer another sorting than the one imposed by the list owner, making it easier to find a specific citation.3 votes -

Improve xml for GeneralAssignToLetter
We use GeneralAssignToLetter to assign Reading List to library staff and Leganto Collaborator staff. Although <assignedobjectname> is present in the xml, but "course code" data is missing, hence we are unable to output that to the letter - we can added onto the xslt letter. We believe course code is essential data element on a Reading List DataSheet.

No openURL in exported reference lists with reference styles (Chicago and APA)
When exporting citations to Word with a reference style, openURLs are included to some citations such as journal articles and electronic books.
Example:
https://bibsys-um.userservices.exlibrisgroup.com/view/uresolver/47BIBSYSHIM/openurl?ctxenc=info:ofi/enc:UTF-8&ctxid=101&ctxtim=2017-10-18T15%3A36%3A41IST&ctxver=Z39.88-2004&urlctxfmt=info:ofi/fmt:kev:mtx:ctx&urlver=Z39.88-2004&rfrid=info:sid/primo.exlibrisgroup.com-BIBSYSILS&reqid=&rftdat=ie=47BIBSYSUBTO:5194209890002205,ie=47BIBSYSHIO:5149861280002218,ie=47BIBSYSHIM:5116987240002223,ie=47BIBSYSHH:5153300090002214,ie=47BIBSYSNETWORK:71468414340002201,language=eng,view=HIM&svcdat=viewit&u.ignoredatecoverage=true&userip=&req.skin=primoThis should not be the case.
According to both APA and Chicago, the DOI should be included if one is assigned.
If none is assigned, then you can include a URL. So URLs are not strictly necessary and they don't need to appear in the citation if the DOI is present.APA just…

Cite it support for Legislation.gov.uk
It would be very helpful to have Legislation.gov.uk as a supported site for Cite it.

Have a separate citation material type list for manually created citation
The full list contains 55 citation material types. If we disable some of them, then material type may show strange code like "READINGLISTCITATIONSECONDARYTYPES.REFERENCE_ENTRY" (assuming we have disabled the Reference Entry code).
But if we enable all of them, the list is too long for the Faculty to select when they create their own citation. Also Faculty do not have necessary knowledge to classify for each type. We expect it just a list of less than 10 items, say "Printed Books", "Printed Journal", "E-resources", etc.
In fact the citation type can be a very useful information in our workflow such that…

Ability for ProQuest books to pull and analyse Leganto reading list data with customer permission to check for ebook availability
Would be so useful for Proquest books to be able to identify ebook availabity from our Reading Lists. We would then be able to use this data to decide if we wanted to then purchase the 'e' copy. The data supplied to the customer must include the module number that the 'match' was found against.

Cite It support for LexisLibrary
LexisLibrary is a commonly used database of UK legal resources and articles. It would be much appreciated by our staff and students if Cite It support could be offered for this site.

Define locally how much of a citation is shown i a reading list
If a public note is registered on a citation, it will be shown on one line only in the list itself, hiding parts of the text if the note is too long.
We would like institutions to be able to locally define how many lines are to be shown for each citation in the reading list itself.2 votes -
Move "+" sign
The "+" sign should be moved down to each section, and the default section should then be the section the click comes from. That is more intuitive. I am pretty sure 9 of 10 users starts looking in the sections for a way to add literature.

Avoid session timeout for guests users
For the public find list page, in Guest mode, after timeout, it will redirect to the Leganto local login screen which is strange and user does not know what this is. We have raised SF 00647401 and ExLibris agreed to fix in Alma July release that it will redirect to the SAML login screen which looks more familiar to our user.
But actually ultimately what we want is NO session timeout for guest users. As no login in the first place, there is no need of "session timeout".
Thank you

Hide suggestions from everyone who is not a list owner/collaborator
At the moment materials suggested for lists are visible to everyone logged in to Leganto, as well as who suggested it and the comment they added.
We'd prefer if suggestions were only visible to list owners/collaborators.

Allow librarians to enable/disable "Edit Multiple Citations" feature
In Leganto November 2020 release, there is a new feature which allows users to edit/delete multiple citations. This is a very useful feature and can improve user experience in some cases.
We have a concern that when academics use this feature and bulk delete many citations by mistake, it is not possible for librarians to restore deleted citations.
We prefer to disable this feature for academics and only allow librarians to use it. Can Ex Libris make this feature configurable so the we can decide on whether to enable this for academics?

Configure which links can be embedded in citation
In Leganto there is now functionality to directly embed citations. This can be enabled so that links can be embedded in the citation screen and the site shows in Leganto without the student having to view it in another tab.
This works well when the URL can be directly resolved. However, if a link must go through a proxy authentication mechanism before it can resolve then a large blank space shows in the Leganto citation instead of the site or proxy login screen.
We propose the ability to configure Leganto so that you can choose to only allows links that…

Add Citavi Integration to Leganto
As a librarian from a German library just introducing Leganto I would recommend to add Citavi to Leganto.
Citavi (https://www.citavi.com/de) is a widely used, sophisticated and user friendly reference management and knowledge organization software. It is available as site license to the members of most of German, Austrian and Swiss universities (see https://www.citavi.com/de/campuslizenzen) and additionally to some other European and overseas academic institutions (many Spanish speaking).
A Citavi integration with Leganto would be an additional benefit and welcome feature especially to new Leganto users from D A CH where for example software like RefWorks in less widely…

Make permalinks more available
At the moment if a member of staff, or a student, wishes to get a permalink to list they need to be logged in. I propose that permalinks are made accessible from the "three dot" menu even when people are not logged in. This will make finding lists and sharing information about them much easier.

Always show the "Add" option in the Leganto 'Search Library (Primo API search) search results
Currently when using the search library feature (calling search scopes from a Primo view) to add items to a reading list, the search results appear but users need to click on the result before an "add" option appears.
This is a completely redundant click: it reduces the efficiency of adding resources this way by increasing the time and effort required to add every single item.
It is a strange design choice to hide the most obvious (and currently the only unless 'Add + Edit' is added) option and quite annoying in the User interface, having a negative impact on the…

Ability to tailor the Alma citations view to support more workflows
This may be multiple ideas to be split out, but the basic idea is the same. Currently in Alma Citation, even with the useful SOLR indexing improvements to allow facets, it can still be difficult to use the Citations list as a tasklist because there is only exclusive faceting and no date restriction. Although Aanlytics allows creation modification dates to come into use for filtering lists, in the Alma interface there is no easy was to only show certain dates.
It is also a heavy loading page as it can show all citations in Alma, it would be useful to…

Number of participants per campus more visible in Alma
Please have a look at the attached document for full description with pictures.
Hi,
Here are a few suggestions regarding the number of participants as shown in Alma:
1. When controlling a list where several campuses are involved, only the campuses are indicated, not the number of students per campus.
We would like this information to be visible here. It would make it easier to decide if more copies should be bought, or if the library of another campus should have a look at the list.
2. When associating a list to a course in Leganto, the information about the…2 votes -
