How can we improve Leganto?

Reset Copyright status when a file is uploaded.

When a citation is for a physical book from our collection – the copyright status is defaulted to “not required” However, if the instructor later decides to upload a file – the copyright status does not change/recalculate - it should! It could potentially violate Fair Dealing/copyright permissions.

    Colleen, at my institution we have the default Copyright Status for physical books in our collection configured to be Not Determined. I've just tested adding a file to such a reading in Leganto, and in Alma the citation's Copyright Status immediately changed to Waiting for Approval, and the "Citation has a new file" alert was also auto-applied to the citation. Would changing the default Copyright Status address this problem at your end?

    This sounds like a bug that Ex Libris should fix without people having to vote for it here.
