Push notifications for new emails
It'd be really useful for our users to know when they have a new email either as a push notification or as a little notification on the email tile itself. Currently, users have to go into the email tile and then refresh their emails to see if anything new has come through.

Tagging for AEK screens and menu options
As an app content manager, when updating AEK screens and menu options I would like to see tags that provide details about the type of authentication used, so that I can easily identify whether the content I'm working on belongs in an SSO or LDAP profile
As a user of SSO on desktop and LDAP authentication on native apps we have to duplicate our AEK screens as we need subtlely different code in each. This has made use of App builder very error prone as it's not clear whether you're looking at an SSO menu tile or native auth. That…

Tile movement in App Builder
When viewing a particular role and moving tiles in App Builder, other roles (and their tiles) can be affected by the placement algorithm but it is not possible to see this impact unless all roles are visible at once or you notice after publish.
This can make management tricky and irritates users if you don't notice an unintended change - finding a way to limit/stop this would be very useful.

Ability to customise the Android logo + related logo/brand items
At the moment there is no way to customise the Android logo this leads to inconsistent visual branding.
Enterprises/institutions often use logo variations to address official branding guidelines. For example, a restricted space version of the official logo that is mandated to be used when there is little available space. Such restricted space logos often reduce or totally remove typography to avoid issues of logo/brand integrity that occur when only 30 or 40 pixels of square space is available.
Also, assuming this functionality is added it may be worthwhile to consider placing all the logo and branding (i.e., splash screens…

Customised start day for timetable (internationalisation)
Currently the timetable starts on a Monday, but there are 19 countries in the world with a Friday/Saturday weekend (including this customer!), and a couple with Thursday/Friday weekends. This makes the Monday start day completely incompatible. Please consider adding this option as a global option for the organisation in App Manager, similar to how Google Calendar deals with it (see attached).

Ability to break out of WebKit browser
We need to be able to leave the confines of the WebKit browser & use the standard defualt browser on the students device.
See the image attached, Our students are getting confused within their Office 365 Mail as to which is the button to click to go back to their Email inbox, rather than the button to go back to the main menu tiles on the app.
Doing this would also give more available space to the Email page or other external webpage, rather than always showing a CampusM branded title bar, back, refresh & share buttons.

feedback
Enable an institution to customize the app manager feedback such that it can be redirected to a different feedback solution for ideas.
The current feedback mechanism is very basic. There is no capability for a user to see if idea an idea has already been posted or to vote on ideas. We want to instead direct users to a feedback portal (like this one) where they can see what other ideas have been raised and vote on.

New tabs
Based on user experience, opening everything (all tiles) in new tabs is annoying, for both desktop and mobile. We would to have like to have ability to specify open in new tab or not. The sales force ticket has been raised and the incident no is: #00330231

UIWebView remembers username
Native apps can remember the username and password for the user after first logon. (or at least just the username) so that the next time when the user requires to login again, UIWebView auto-fills username and password fields and user just click "Sign in".

Send notifications to users who are in one Group AND another Group
We are keen to use Notifications to target groups of students like:
All second years in a department
All UGs in a department
Students who are in the second year of a programme
Students who are on a module
Students who are taking at least one of a set of modulesCurrently we have groups based on our departments, year groups and level of study. We can send a notification to a single group of these but we don’t have a use case for this.
What we need to be able to select groups using AND. So the notification goes…

Allow for App Builder only (non-user-facing) menu option description
When we have to create two version of a tile (such as LDAP vs. SSO or Mobile vs. Web) there is currently no way to label the menu options in App Builder without that showing up in the app itself. Clients don't want students to see "Library (LDAP)" at the top of the AEK screen, but it is helpful to have the designation visible on the backend when making changes or assigning menu options to the right roles/profiles.

Allow <input type="file">
We've created a couple forms in the AEK that would benefit from the ability to upload a file, such as a camera photo. We already have it working for the web interface, but it doesn't work in the Android App or the iOS App. When I click the File button, nothing happens.
We were told to submit an Idea for this functionality as it may requires that the app request basic native functionality to allow file uploads. We are doing this work via the AEK, so that's why I selected this category. Modify as needed.

Help/Hints for the News Feeds Initial Screen
As an app user, I would like to see a hint in the initial News and Event screen, so that it is clear that I need to choose the feeds I want to view using the Add/Remove option and I am not just presented with a blank screen if I haven't already selected a feed
When user first opens the News Feeds Menu Option in the app, there is an empty grey screen, which looks very big and very empty on iPad in particular, giving impression that something is not working withing the app.
It is not very clear that…

Combined toolbar and menu system for AEK, static content and external web pages
It would be useful to have a way to use toolbars like AEK toolbars and menus like for content pages, but include AEK screens, static content and external web pages together under a combined navigation system.
This could be implemented as an extension to the content menu and AEK toolbar systems, or it could be a new tile type with an improved, integrated navigation system.

Image Carousel Option For Banners
It would be great to have an image carousel option for the banners. Currently they are on a timer and the engagement from students are very low after the first banner. Most of the time they feel like it's too long to wait or timer is too quick to read and understand the information. Would be good to have an option where the user can swipe/click through the banners at their own pace.

Attendance Check-in: Allow IP check-ins via web portal
Currently for attendance check-in we allow validation by either crowdsource (beacon) or IP address. This works fine when students are using the native app to check-in (even if they are required to enable Bluetooth on their device). However, when they attempt to check-in via the web portal they are prevented from using the check-in with a message of "Please use the mobile app in order to check in".
This is because the web portal doesn't support Bluetooth. But as we also allow IP validation it would be incredibly beneficial to students if they could check-in via the portal (using just…
