QR scanner access in AEK
This feature is desirable as currently the user has to navigate menu's in order to access the QR reader.
It would be a lot better if we could integrate the qr scanner in the actual screen, providing a seamless user experience.
The key deliverable here, would be for the native qr scanner, to return the content contained with in the QR Code.

iPhone X Resolution Support
The iPhone X native resolution is not currently supported. It would be great to see this implemented so all users can enjoy a proper experience.

Manage notifications
It would be helpfull to see the notifications we have sent until a specific date, and to have the ability to resend them.

App Settings > Content > Menu Options - Alphabetical Order
Is it possible to list the content areas appearing in App Settings> Content > Menu Options in alphabetical order? Or at least display an option enabling users to sort like this?
At the moment, with a number of content area tiles in use, it can be difficult for users to easily find the tile they are looking to update.

at current we have to place a transparent png over the standard grey to make the header work on all iOS device sizes. changing the background colour would allow us to use our branding more effectively.

App manager API
Can we have an API for doing certain tasks in the app manager. For example, for process automation, it'd be great if we could access the asset manager via an api, rather than through the web gui.
for example, if we have bulk map data, that we extract from our map datasource, and we automate the process of uploading the map data, it would make our automation much less risky, if we can call an api to create and/or remove folders from and upload position images to the asset manager.
This would remove my automation from relying on screen clicks…

Image Carousel Option For Banners
It would be great to have an image carousel option for the banners. Currently they are on a timer and the engagement from students are very low after the first banner. Most of the time they feel like it's too long to wait or timer is too quick to read and understand the information. Would be good to have an option where the user can swipe/click through the banners at their own pace.

Request the ability to change the location pin icon to something that matches that location. The attached shows residence halls on campus - perhaps the icon would be a bed and not a pin.

Ability for a tile to start hidden so that users can choose whether to enable
All tiles are enabled by default. It would be useful to have the option for a tile to start hidden, but still be available in the Arrange list so that individual users can decide whether to activate (similar model to app stores). The new hide option, unfortunately, doesn't make the tile available under Arrange.
Our University is now using CampusM as our portal with many links being single sign-on links to other systems. People love the ability to customize and want tiles for their favorite often-used systems, which will have a huge impact on real estate since tiles are active…

Update React
Please please please update your React version and packages
No-one should be using React.createClass anymore!
This would also enable us to use packages such as Jest to test our AEK2 screen components3 votes -

Restrict Creative Studio templates and components to institutions branded templates
In Creative Studio the template library should be restricted so that editors can only see and use the branded templates that institutions have created.
The drag and drop elements should be restricted as well to only show our branded components.

App manager - content editor - automatic position links
In the old app manager content editor you could highlight text and select a link button, which would then allow you to create the action of opening a page or more importantly to a campus map position.
In the new app manager this really useful function has been taken away, so you need to manually use links with page numbers. Which you need to dig around and find by inspecting web page code. This is very time consuming and a step backwards on the old app managers functionality.
e.g manual code: <a href="uniloc://?posCode=50433">Shop,</a>
However the answer is already there/here. The…

Improved "filter by date" feature for events integration
We would like to request an improvement to the 'filter by date' feature in the Events integration. Right now, you can only filter by specific select dates, which isn't really convenient when one is trying to filer by a range of dates. Furthermore, when the list of events covers a wide range of dates, that stuffed the filter feature with far too many dates and makes it difficult to reach the 'filter by tags' tool on mobile. A better method would be to allow more broad selections (e.g. 'this week', 'this month', etc.), or replace the checklist with start date…

Developer API to manage CampusM
Currently there is a lot of manual work involved in keeping the customer roles, app roles, settings, aek screens in sync between different profiles on the Ombiel portal.
It would be great to be able to have an API on it so the manual tasks can be automated on our side; something akin to AWS developer API comes to mind - either REST APIs or CLI or anything else that lets developers / administrators interact with Ombiel so all the tasks like creating roles, AEK screens, managing user / app roles will be much easier and less error prone.

Add id's to elements to make automated testing easier
We use Selenium to automate our integration tests, in order to identify elements on the page we are currently having to rely on CSS selectors, but these are brittle and subject to change.
For example to automate the login process we can navigate a browser to:
https://portal.test.canterbury.ac.uk/campusm/home#select-profile
then to click a profile we were using
body > div.modal > div.modal-body > div > div > ul > li:nth-child(1) > a
to select the Student profile, but changing the order of elements breaks our tests and it seems that the underlying markup has also changed so now the Student profile is…2 votes -
