How to convert OST files into PST easily
Converting an Outlook Offline Storage Table (OST) file to a portable PST format is essential for accessing mail data from orphaned accounts, migrating information, or recovering items from a corrupt file. While manual methods exist, they often come with limitations.
For users with an active Outlook profile connected to the original server, the built-in "Import/Export" wizard or "Archive" function can export mailbox data to a new PST file. Another manual approach is to create a new, blank PST file in Outlook and then drag and drop folders from the OST file into it. However, these free methods will fail if…1 vote -
Rosetta METS XSD update with reference to several file IDs
Due to an error in one of our input files that creates the METS during a recent batch of deposits, we found that our original METS file did not have unique file IDs in the structMaps for the preservation master and modified master representations (for more details, see case 00477041 from the Getty). It was simply repeating the same file ID from the access file representation.
We validated against the Rosetta XSD both before and after deposit, and for some reason, this did not result in a METS validation mistake. Consequently, however, no files in the METS in Rosetta were…

Understanding Wordle by The New York Times: A Comprehensive Overview
Wordle, the daily five-letter word puzzle game owned by The New York Times (NYT), has become a cultural phenomenon since its acquisition. Every day, players worldwide engage with this simple yet challenging game that tests vocabulary, logic, and deduction skills. The game's appeal lies in its accessibility, social sharing elements, and the mental stimulation it offers.
What is Wordle?
Wordle Nyt presents players with six attempts to guess a secret five-letter word. After each guess, the game provides feedback by coloring the letters: green indicates the letter is in the correct position, yellow means the letter is in the word…

I have a idea for that
One way Rosetta could improve is by adding more interactive, lightweight practice modules. Learning a new language feels easier when combined with casual play and quick challenges. For example, I often use small puzzle games during breaks on sites like https://blockblast.dev, and it really helps me refresh while still keeping my brain active. If Rosetta could incorporate short, game-like activities in between lessons, it would make the learning flow more engaging and fun.

Rosetta UX
I'm working with Rosetta 5.4 right now, and there are a few UX problems that would make the product much simpler to use.
The pull-down list has one of these. When creating a New Deposit Material flow, for instance, when I access the 'Select conent structure', the list that is displayed is in some type of order, but it is definitely not alphabetical. It would be beneficial if the pull-down menus were arranged accordingly.

give developer previews for Rosetta
Currently, ExLibris releases new Rosetta versions by announcing a rough release date ("April this year"), publishing the version, minor release, servicepack, or hotfix, and providing a list of changes. ExLibris will only provide a very basic roadmap of the anticipated improvements until the actual release. Customers find it difficult to get ready for the release, even if this is an easy strategy for ExLibris. In order to allow developers to modify their software (i.e., Submission Applications) to accommodate new features, altered API behavior, etc., I thus suggest that ExLibris offer pre-release versions of Rosetta. As has been a best practice…

Additional input parameter for the rule: material flow
Rosetta's organization levels are restricted to consortium and institution, therefore we frequently have to incorporate items of many types and origins into a single institution. This presents issues since you wish to enable different extraction and/or file extension rules for different sources. The more permissive rules must currently be left off, the SIPs must fail and end up in the TA, the permissive rules must be enabled, the SIPs must be rerun, then they must be disabled.
This is a hassle and necessitates numerous manual fixes that are prone to mistakes and may affect concurrent ingests.

Rosetta METS XSD update regarding multiple file IDs
We discovered that our original METS file lacked unique file IDs in the structMaps for the preservation master and modified master representations because of a mistake in one of our input files that generates the METS during a recent batch of deposits (for more information, see case 00477041 from the Getty). Just the same file ID from the access file representation was being repeated.
We verified against the Rosetta XSD both before and after deposit, and for some reason, this did not result in a METS validation mistake. But as a result, the structMaps with the duplicate file IDs did…

Geometry Dash Is The Ideal Game To Train Your Reflexes
Geometry Dash is an excellent pick if you want games that are both amusing and hard in terms of reflex. This is a rhythm game in which you control the icon to overcome obstacles by jumping, flying, or spinning to the music's beat. Geometry Dash is distinguished by its bright geometric world design, vibrant visual effects, and fluid motions. As you progress through the game, the character accelerates up, making each challenge more tough. The greatest strength of geometry dash is the excellent synchronization between gameplay and music. Each jump is accompanied by a powerful electronic melody, creating an atmosphere…

The Cost of eCommerce App Development
The cost of eCommerce app development can vary widely depending on features, design, and platform choice. If you’re planning to develop an eCommerce app, it’s important to define your must-have functionalities first—like product catalog, payment gateways, and order tracking—before adding advanced features such as AI recommendations or AR try-ons.
For pricing, both fixed and hourly rates have pros and cons. Fixed rates give more clarity if your scope is well-defined, while hourly rates work better for projects that may evolve over time.
And yes, small businesses can absolutely get started! By building an MVP with essential features, you can launch…

Improve Engagement with More Interactive Tutorials
I think Rosetta could benefit from adding more interactive tutorials or guided demos, especially for new users. Sometimes written documentation feels overwhelming, but short, playful walkthroughs would make the learning curve much easier.
It’s a bit like how casual games introduce mechanics step by step — for example, in Sprunki Retake, the fun comes from experimenting and discovering things gradually. If Rosetta had something similar, it would feel less like ‘study’ and more like ‘play,’ which I believe would boost adoption and engagement.1 vote -

Suggestion to Make Rosetta More Engaging
Rosetta could be more engaging by adding gamification features similar to the game BaseballBrosUnblocked.
For example, users could earn badges for completing tasks, track their progress with visual milestones, or unlock small rewards for reaching goals.
These features make routine workflows more motivating and enjoyable, encouraging users to explore more and stay active.
