  1. Normalization Sets Change Control

    It will be nice if we have a Normalization Sets Change history including:

    • what changed on a normalization set old and new value
    • who change it
    • when has been changed
    • possibility to revert to the previous version

  2. Add Back Office code/mapping table codes to UI as IDs or comments

    When trying to configure the Primo UI, it would be really nice to be able to inspect an element and see if there are corresponding back office code/mapping table values that control it. These could be added as comments or as IDs or in some other way. This would help Primo admins track down the correct settings quickly and accurately.

  3. Add to Primo Backend BE tools for counting and migrating (= export and reimport) user comments

    As Primo administrator we have no tool
    1) allowing us to know how many user comments are in the system (to have an idea on how this feature is used and therefore useful
    2) allowing us to migrate user comments in case there is a change authentication system and metadata. For example, we switched from a case sensitive to a case unsensitive authentication platform and, since user comments in Primo are linked to user via the ID used for authentication, we could not export them, manipulate and fix the users, and reimport them.

  4. Searchable Training Videos

    Enable the content of all training videos to be retrievable when searching the Ex Libris Knowledge Center. This would improve training by making the video content more accessible. By indexing audio transcripts of training videos, customers can more easily retrieve information relevant to their query and help ourselves.

  5. Set default language(s) in PBO

    When managing the various mapping and code tables in the PBO, it gets complicated because I'm constantly having to set the language column. It would be great if we could have that narrowed by default to just the ones we need. To support multilingual institutions, it would need to allow for multiple defaults if possible.

  6. pin password

    Add the ability to control what fields display in the My Library Card | Update PIN / Password box dependent upon whether the User is an Internal or External user in Alma. Showing external users the option to change their password is confusing as their password is maintained outside of Primo/Alma.

  7. Extend the character limit for text fields in Vendor Licences.

    Licences often have more than just one clause relating to that field. The character limit currently prohibits how much of the clause can be added to that field.

  8. Would like FRBR member boosting to be cone at institution level so multi tenant can select default record type(e over print etc...)

    Currently in a multi tenant environment some variables are only at the installation level and can't be changed. My example is the FRBR for print always shows, where we would prefer the electronic:

    As total care can we do this making the Ebook or electronic version be the first on the brief display rather than the print?

  9. System generated email: include the domain name in the body of message

    Currently system generated emails from Primo do not indicate which server they originated from. We have two servers, production and staging, and we think this is a common setup. In order to know which server the email came from one has to view the message headers. It would be helpful if the emails automatically included the domain name in the body of the message.

    Our Library has decided to activate in Primo Central Index (1) resources that are free to all users in search and delivery as well as (2) resources that are restricted in delivery but not restricted in search. As there are new collections added to PCI from time to time, in order to save manpower, is it possible to configure our PCI to automatically activate all newly added resources that either have no restrictions at all or is restricted for delivery only but not restricted for search in our production PCI and staging PCI?

  12. Add a Deploy button to all screens that require a deploy

    So may times we forget or don't know that a deploy is required for a change to be implemented into production.

    1. It would really nice that any feature that requires a deploy a deploy now button be included on the screen (some sections already have this feature)
    2. It would be even better if there was a banner at the top of the admin panel if there were changes that require a deploy to implement pending so that Administrators can easily see that a deploy is required.

  13. Primo - Set up display logic rules - document type level

    Set up display logic rules not at the level of a target or a service but at the level of the document type:
    in particular, no more link or SFX service to be displayed when document type is dataset or patent, it seems SFX does not know how to process datasets metadata.

  16. Automatic sync of library codes with scopes and static facets

    The Library Codes on the Institution page are currently automatically copied to the Library Names code table and the ILS Library Codes mapping table, which is great.
    We would like to have an option to automatically sync these library codes also with the Scopes and Search Scopes (used for searching, and Location drop-down lists) and Static Library facets mapping table, in order to eliminate the need for manually updating all library codes in the scopes and static facets.

  17. Add a job that can set the CDI option collectively

    We would like you to add a job to set "Activate for search in CDI" collectively for the electronic collection set of CZ.
    Also, please add a job to batch update the following CDI options for the electronic collection set of IZ.
    - CDI Search activation status
    - We subscribe to only some titles in this collection
    - CDI-only full text activation
    - Do not show as Full Text available in CDI even if active in Alma
