Change order of holdings for e-journals in ViewIt
Allow the institution to determine the ordering of resources in the ViewIt section of Primo. The single select options would include:
• By Date – Ascending
• By Date – Descending
• Alphabetical
• (Not sure if there are others)Currently e-journal titles with multiple holdings are displayed in alphabetical order. When each holding has a different date range, it can be difficult to scan quickly. This would allow each institution to select what works best for their users.

Option for linking Collection details page instead of Collection Lobby
Simple search results on Primo NUI for Digital collections shows Title and View the collection link only, which get us its collection lobby page directly. Please give us an option that enables to check the collection's metadata(bib) on its Details page and then the user can move to the collection lobby by clicking the link like E-resources.

Search by abbreviation journal titles
We would like to search by abbreviation journal titles.
For exsample, "The Journal of Chemical Science" ="JACS"="J. AMER. CHEM. SOC.".
In SFX, we can do it, so I hope in Primo, too.7 votes -
Make search expansions for author names visible to end users
When performing an advanced author search, Primo returns results for associated pseudonyms. For example, an exact author search for J.K. Rowling returns results for the pseudonym Robert Galbraith. However, unlike with keyword search expansions, the user is given no indication that Primo is including results for related terms. This enhancement would make expanded author searches behave like other search expansions by providing proper notification and giving the use the option to exclude the expanded search results.

Allow libraries at primary Alma campus to be prioritized in Primo displays
Currently on an item brief display, when multiple holdings exist, the availability statement shows whichever holding library comes first alphabetically, and on the results pages the Libraries facet lists libraries in alphabetical order. This alpha setup is problematic for multi-college / multi-library institutions that use per-campus Primo views. If the campus holds the item, its holding, not another campus that comes first alphabetically, should display in the availability statement. In addition, the Libraries facet should either prioritize the primary campus, or be sorted in order of number of hits (as most facets are) rather than alphabetically.

Facets for location of item within a library as well as library
Currently it is only possible to filter search results by the holding Library. The ability to filter search results to a specific location or locations within a library would be useful - for example, to filter the results to copies held at the "Student Library" location and not those held at the "Old Library" location as students cannot borrow items from the Old Library and only want to see the copies they can borrow (those held at the "Student Library" location).

Saved Records Print out in Brief Display
A second print option should be added so that saved records can be printed as a list, with the same brief display elements in the Pinned record display (title, author, citation). The current print option include the entire record (notes, abstracts, ToC etc.) and if one is part of a consortium, all the holdings in the other member libraries.

"see" references also for the browsing by title
Hello,
our (public) case #00518038 has confirmed that the "see" references to not-preferred forms in a browse search are implemented only for Authors and subjects.
We ask the implementation also for the titles
Thanks,

"Load more results" button in My account / Loans / Previous and historic loans
In the same way as there is now a 'load more results' button in My favorites / Saved records, we would like to see a 'load more results' button in My account / Loans / Previous and historic loans.

Make the New Primo UI more CSS friendly
While the new Primo interface gave us more power to extend functionality via JavaScript it does not do the same for modifications via CSS due to the lack of properly marked up content.
In some parts of the New UI the content is well described, often with custom HTML elements, but there are also many places, often in the higher levels in the DOM tree, where better described selectors (preferably through classes) are needed.
For example, there is currently no selector that show the current system that is being displayed. The <prm-explore>-element could have the current system being shown as…

Allow custom "Username" and "Password" labels when using multiple modes of authentication
For institutions using multiple modes of authentication (such as LDAP for externally-managed users and Alma for internally-managed users), it is not currently possible to customize the "Username" and "Password" labels to have custom labels display for each authentication method. The "User Login" code table only provides one field for customizing the username or password, which displays for all methods of authentication. It would be more helpful to all users (and particularly internally-managed users) if we could specify on the login page which information users should enter as their "username" and "password."

Browses: add See Also and Usage info from authority headings
Primo supports display of See references (not same as See Also) in browse headings, if those cross-references are in the bibliographic data ingested by Primo. There is no capacity to display See Also and Usage info from authority records, which are important so that users understand how and why certain terms, especially subjects, may be used.
We propose that See Also and Usage info display in the Browse headings.
Example headings and See Also and Usage info that does NOT currently display in Primo:
Blacks:
Search also under: subdivision Blacks under individual wars, e.g. World War, 1939-1945--Blacks; and headings beginning…

course reserve
Course Reserves:
Requested Enhancement: Offer interface with drop-down menus for Course Title, Course Department, and Course Instructor (similar to drop-down menus in Voyager)Currently users can search for course reserves, but there is not a good mechanism to browse. Offering drop-down menus would easily allow users to see what was currently on course reserve by course title, department and instructor.
Thank you for considering

Subject Browse - allow merging of identical subject terms from different vocabularies
Right now, when I browse in my Primo by subject, I'm seeing a lot of subject headings repeated from different taxonomies. For example: Microbiology (EBPS), Microbiology (FAST), Microbiology (fast MESH), Microbiology (LCSH), Microbiology (LCSHKIDS FAST), Microbiology (MESH). This looks like a mess and is confusing for the user. I'd like to propose that where subject headings are identical between taxonomies, they be merged into one entry so the user doesn't have to check them all.

make sign-in reminder above items list sticky
for records with large numbers of items attached it would improve the user experience if the banner which reminds users to sign in to place requests was 'sticky' so that it was always visible no matter how far down the list of items they are. for instance, our staff have reported user confusion when browsing for a specific physicval volume of a long-running journal title - they eventually find the item they want but then don't know how to get it because there's no sign in option.

Patron must agree the borrowing request agreement in Primo before booking a Kindle book
The customer of 86CUHKSZ would like to add a borrowing request agreement in Primo, so when a patron wants to book a Kindle book, the borrowing request agreement must be read and agreed at first, otherwise, the patron cannot book the Kindle book. And the customer would like to have an interface to update the agreement accordingly.

When user inputs a wrong primo URL such as: http://discovery.lib.shanghaitech.edu.cn:1701/primo_library/libweb/uploaded_files/shtech/index.php?s=captcha
By now Primo displays a messy page(See attachment)
We would like to see a more friendly ERROR message page without the messy information

Active Links in Journal Record when Searching in Journals
Currently when you search for a journal in a general search the full record will have links to the author, subject heading, etc. When you use the actual Journal Search this links are not available. It would be nice to have active links in this record as well.
