Primo VE: Allow Exclusion of Institution Zone only records from Discovery Network/NZ Scope
In consortial environments, the Network Scope includes Institution Zone only records such as laptops, keys, etc.
We would like the capability to exclude IZ only records from a Discovery Network scope so that we can display only records that are NZ bibs, not local IZ with no NZ bibs.

This is absolutely necessary if you want consortial borrowing to work correctly. Surprised it's not considered "basic functionality"

This is critical functionality for user experience in consortia. We rely on the separation of IZ and NZ record discovery, using IZ records for equipment available only to our students at our institution as opposed to NZ records that can be requested and loaned consortially.

This is an absolutely critical functionality needed by consortia. In addition to equipment records, consortia members frequently have IZ-only records for resources that they are contractually prohibited from sharing outside of their institutions.
Having un-requestable resources appear in to Primo VE users in other member institutions leads to poor user experience and a glut of canceled item requests.
I should also note that the current workaround of creating a custom local data scope where the institution = NETWORK and Inventory = available physical is incomplete at best, as it will not display resources that are requestable from another consortial member but checked out or otherwise "unavailable" temporarily.

Yes please. Many of our institutions have materials cataloged that they want to display in their IZ for their local patrons to know are available, but, they do not necessarily want to have the records show in the NZ for all of the consortia's members to locate on a search.
Common examples include materials such as headphones, dry erase markers, professor's copies of reserve materials, and certain kits or equipment.

This is very important and necessary for consortia.
