'pin' \ save to eshelf all items of a specific search
Add the ability to 'pin' all results of a specific search, without having to manually select them.
The classic UI has the option to save all items in a specific page to eshelf, this is missing from the NUI and it also doesn't offer a full solution. Users asked for the ability to add all results of a certain search to their eshelf with one click.
Thank you Michal for posting this idea, sending us examples to show the use cases.
This is now part of Primo and Primo VE November 2019 release.

Hi Nili, thank you for good news.
If possible, we would love to increase the amount of results from 50 to much more. Sometimes it is necessary to add hundreds of results. Thanks. -

Hi Nili, is this still "under review"? will it be going to development? - thanks, Toby

This feature is missed here at Cardiff Met, the ability to add apply a label at the same time would be beneficial also.

Any updates Nili?

I strongly support this enhancement. It is very time-consuming and frustrating to have to manually transact each export from a list of retrieved titles!

yes it would be good, missed from the old interface

Yes, this would be a great improvement.
Once you've bulk pinned the results with this suggestion, it would need to be paired with this suggestion to increase the number of results you can export:

It should also be possible to export a saved searche to a list. The RSS is nice for those with firefox, but we sometimes also need more metadata++ It should be possible to do this for numerous formats.

I wonder how this could work with many Primo searches having many millions of results. Although the title refers to saving all items in a search, it seems more feasible that it would have to be instead an addition on the option to save just the 10 results on each page in the New UI, as mentioned in the description. There is also a current known issue with My Favorites Saved Items being very unresponsive when containing a large number of results, such as over 200. I wonder if emailing users the search query URL and advising them on adding the new records facet and setting an alert might be a good alternative, especially as the results can change so dynamically week by week when the PCI is included in the scope.

To Asaf:
I need it for when researches ask me to do systematic searches in Oria. I'm not supposed to hand-pick/evaluate the search result, just gather all results that answers to given criteria.
Sometimes these criterias give quite lage search results, and it's so frustrating to have to pin one at the time.Students also used this (in the old UI) to collect large search results to evaluate and go through later.

I would like to hear out more about this request:
1. Can you please provide some use cases for saving all results to favorites?
2. What is the source reasoning for saving a bulk of results (considering this is search results, not a list of hand-picked items)? -

If saving all results of a search (with a sensible max limit of records) is not an option, saving results per page is still a helpful option

This is so essential I would even say it is critical.

Even saving by sets of 10 would be helpful.

We too are missing this feature and would like to add to this idea to have the ability to save a page of brief results to the eShelf/my favorites
