Indent newspaper search under Source Type limiters
Indent the "Newspapers search" link under the "Source Type" limiter to bring it in line with the other listed source types (e.g. Articles, Reivews, Books, etc.).
As it currently displays, without being indented, it appears that all of the source types listed below are sub-sets of the Newspapers search.

Searching special characters Ayin or Apostrophe in Primo
In Alma, you get the same results if you include or exclude the special character ayin or apostrophe in your search terms. However, in Primo searches you need to include these special characters. If they are missing, you will not find the same result.
Ayin is used in transliterated title of items in Hebrew, Arabic, Armaic, Syriac, and Korean languages. It is not on a standard US keyboard, so it is difficult for users to include it in the search.
Apparently, Alma uses a different indexing system. We would like Primo to be able to do the same as Alma…

Improve Author/Creator search results
We want more control over Author/Creator search results. Ex Libris has informed us that the author/creator searching norm rules are hard coded and cannot be changed. Currently our results include MARC fields 245 (statement of responsibility) and 600, 610, 611 (names as subjects). We don't want these fields included and would like to be able to sculpt search results through MARC field editing. Inclusion of these fields confuses users in author searches and returns results that are irrelevant when searching for works of a known author.

Field labels in Brief Record Displays
It would help the user to make sense of what they are reading in the Brief Record Display if we could include labels for some of the fields -- particularly for "Subject" and "Is part of".

Allow custom "Username" and "Password" labels when using multiple modes of authentication
For institutions using multiple modes of authentication (such as LDAP for externally-managed users and Alma for internally-managed users), it is not currently possible to customize the "Username" and "Password" labels to have custom labels display for each authentication method. The "User Login" code table only provides one field for customizing the username or password, which displays for all methods of authentication. It would be more helpful to all users (and particularly internally-managed users) if we could specify on the login page which information users should enter as their "username" and "password."

loan history lookup option
Loan history lookup options, such as, a search box, a year select box or a slider (of the return date), would be helpful for the users having hundreds of loan history records.

Adding Accession Number for EBSCO results to the PCI
Would be useful to add the EBSCO Accession Numbers to PCI records and sending these Accession Numbers in the OpenURL from Primo to Alma, so that Alma could use them to build direct links to EBSCOhost for problematic linking issues.

Improve the formatting of Primo VE forms so that they can expand and accommodate longer titles.
In Primo VE the Resource Sharing and Purchase Request forms are designed to be very narrow - the entry fields are 50 characters wide. They look like they have been designed to be optimised for a mobile interface and do not resize if more room is available.
This means that if I requested Title is longer than 50 characters you cannot see it all at once.We have attempted to use changes in the css to widen the form but this causes issues with the display of Advanced Search fields.

Browses: add See Also and Usage info from authority headings
Primo supports display of See references (not same as See Also) in browse headings, if those cross-references are in the bibliographic data ingested by Primo. There is no capacity to display See Also and Usage info from authority records, which are important so that users understand how and why certain terms, especially subjects, may be used.
We propose that See Also and Usage info display in the Browse headings.
Example headings and See Also and Usage info that does NOT currently display in Primo:
Blacks:
Search also under: subdivision Blacks under individual wars, e.g. World War, 1939-1945--Blacks; and headings beginning…

Prevent OTB icons from loading before custom icons
Although Primo customers have the option of using custom resource type icons, the out-of-the-box icons still load momentarily before being replaced by the custom icons. This enhancement would prevent the OTB icons from loading for customers who opt to use their own icons.

Sort purchase requests in Primo, by newest
It would be really helpful if user were able to sort their purchase requests in Primo by purchase-request creation date newest. Now Primo shows their purchase requests sorted by oldest, normally the user wants to see the follow up of the most recent.

course reserve
Course Reserves:
Requested Enhancement: Offer interface with drop-down menus for Course Title, Course Department, and Course Instructor (similar to drop-down menus in Voyager)Currently users can search for course reserves, but there is not a good mechanism to browse. Offering drop-down menus would easily allow users to see what was currently on course reserve by course title, department and instructor.

Subject Browse - allow merging of identical subject terms from different vocabularies
Right now, when I browse in my Primo by subject, I'm seeing a lot of subject headings repeated from different taxonomies. For example: Microbiology (EBPS), Microbiology (FAST), Microbiology (fast MESH), Microbiology (LCSH), Microbiology (LCSHKIDS FAST), Microbiology (MESH). This looks like a mess and is confusing for the user. I'd like to propose that where subject headings are identical between taxonomies, they be merged into one entry so the user doesn't have to check them all.

Update the Primo RSS feed channel link to point to NUI, not the classic interface
Although this is a small issue this is confusing whenever we dispay a Primo RSS feed through a widget to our end users . I submitted this to support and was told that I should consider posting it on Ideas Exchange instead.
To see a sample alert RSS feed from our instance: https://senecacollege-primo.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo_library/libweb/newRss?rssId=1730438767&queryTerm=Concrete%20slabs%20--%20Design%20and%20construction&vid=01SENC&ver=2_1_4

Remove 490 from Browse Index
We would like the ability to remove certain fields from the Browse Index - specifically the 490 field. We still want it included in the Keyword Index, but not in the Browse Index. The reason for this request is that the 490 series description field is displaying in the Browse bib headings in Primo and Alma. This results in two series fields displaying, when there is only one series.

make sign-in reminder above items list sticky
for records with large numbers of items attached it would improve the user experience if the banner which reminds users to sign in to place requests was 'sticky' so that it was always visible no matter how far down the list of items they are. for instance, our staff have reported user confusion when browsing for a specific physicval volume of a long-running journal title - they eventually find the item they want but then don't know how to get it because there's no sign in option.
