ILL link on missing holdings
Currently GETIT ILL links won't appear on a citation when any range of print holdings are owned locally, even if the issue from the citation is not held. Please allow an option that allows a path to an ILL form when the issue needed is not locally held.

Display item enumeration on location level under Get It for Primo VE
We would like to be able to configure the information displayed under Get it in the location/holding level for Primo VE to contain information from the enumeration fields from the item level.
This used to be possible in Primo BO (see attached screenshot), but unfortunately not anymore in Primo VE.
When there are many holdings and items the user, as a consequence, will have to perform many clicks through all the holdings and checking all the items to find the volume that they are looking for.

Show e-collections activated in the NZ in the Database Search of IZs
In our network we activate certain Open Access e-resources in the Network Zone. These e-collections are activated for every IZ without restriction. Some of our Institution Zones are using the Database Search to allow Patrons to search for their e-collections. Unfortunately, the Database Search is showing only e-collections that are activated and have inventory in the IZ. It does not show any of the Network Zone e-collections.
We would like to have the option to include the Network zone activated e-collections in the Database Search of the IZs.

Requesting at artcle level optional
In our library we do not carry out article level requests for print journals. Our patrons can only request issues. But Primo shows the Get It section for articles where there is a print record for the journal. We do want the Get It section on the journal, but not on the article level. It would be nice if the individual library could decide wethter to show ********* articles or not.

Recuperar en búsqueda avanzada por título el campo 740, desde la opción de Comienza por
En búsqueda avanzada, por título, con la opción "Título comienza por" recuperamos los campos marc 130 y 245, pero no el campo 740. El campo 740 únicamente se recupera eligiendo la opción "titulo contiene". Solicitamos que el 740 tenga las mismas opciones de recuperación en PrimoVE que los campos 130 y 245.

Remove full stop after "available from" date in the "View it" section of PrimoVE
Currently, at the "view it section" of an e-journal title in PrimoVE, the availability can appear as follows for example: "Available from 01/07/2010." Note the presence of a full-stop after the date which is confusing to users who think access is only available to 2010. ExLibris state that this full-stop is hardcoded and cannot be removed.
PrimoVE would be far more user friendly and less confusing if it was possible to remove this full-stop.3 votes -
Exclude suppressed records from browse results
Currently, records that are suppressed from discovery still appear in users' browse search results. As explained in the documentation below:
"If a heading contains suppressed or restricted records:
- These records will be included in the heading's record count.

Pre-populate the address fields when personal delivery options are selected in an item request from Primo VE
In the November 2023 release it is now possible for patrons to update their registered home or office address (or other personal delivery address) while requesting personal delivery in Primo VE. When the patron selects one of the addresses for pickup in the request form all the address information is blank in Primo VE even when that field type is populated in Alma. This means the patron will think they have to fill out the pickup location information for every request. New Book List in Primo VE
I would love to have in-built Primo VE functionality to showcase the new book list in Primo VE, like Trinity College (https://ctw-tc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/search?vid=01CTW_TC:CTWTC&lang=en) did using this alternatively, but not everyone is that techy, so please consider adding this in upcoming releases.

Visualization of Analytical Bibliographic Data in PrimoVE.: Correct Sorting of Parts
A multi-part resource (eg: a sketchbook containing 200 drawings) is catalogued in MARC 773 (host/item relationship). PrimoVE ought to sort and display the component parts using $$g and $$q. Currently PrimoVE fails to do this in the correct numerical order. Rather, the presentation is alphabetical which is useless for component-items organized by their part or page number. There was a recent ideas exchange issue raised on this very topic, which was “solved” by providing the aforementioned “alphabetical solution”. It would be helpful if there were more supported languages added to the Alma/Primo VE platform in order to serve multiple demographics on campus.

Report a problem - allow users to add an attachment
When patrons are reporting a problem in Primo user interface, usually adding a screenshot is very helpful for support.
Can "Add attachment" be added to the Report a problem form?

Change behaviour of collection discovery for frbrized titles
At the moment collection discovery in Primo VE shows for frbrized titles only one entry, even if there are two entries added two the collection (print and electronic version e.g.). If the user clicks on the entry, he gets a record and not a list of versions as he does when clicking on an entry in the brief results list. This is confusing, because the user might think, the one record he found (print or electronic) is the only one available. The user is likely to overlook the rather small versions line.

Primo VE: Facet «Publication format» displays entries with capital letters and suppresses apostrophes
We noticed that the facet "Publication format" displays the entries with capital letters at the beginning of each word, and sometimes suppress the apostrophe too (see enclosures). This is a problem, because we never do display words in this manner in French or German. It really looks weird and we would like to avoid that for our users.

Allow manual control of thumbnails in Primo records
Primo uses Syndetics to supply thumbnails of book covers for records within Primo. However, when Syndetics provides an incorrect image based on their data, it requires a ticket and often several weeks to correct it. In contrast, some records have no thumbnail at all and use a default gray book icon. Libraries should have the option to use this default icon when Syndetics is providing an incorrect image, or to upload and use local images in cases of records that have no images in Syndetics (for example, with archival and special collection books that are old enough that they have…

Show only Uniform title when FRBR key contains field 130 information
When records are grouped together in Primo VE because they have the same uniform title in MARC field 130, the display of the title and creators in the Brief results display for this group is not ideal.
The group shows the title and creators of one of the records in the group, which can be confusing to the user.

Make is possible to display Available From Date and Available To Date to users in Primo
The "Control the Availability of Portfolios Automatically at a Pre-defined Date" feature, introduced in the February 2023 release (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Release_Notes/2023/Alma_2023_Release_Notes?mon=202302BASE), allows libraries to enter an Available From Date and Available To Date in portfolios, and the portfolio will be automatically deactivated after the Available To Date. Sort Book Chapters in correct order when using PrimoVE in 'Everything' search
When using the ‘Everything’ search in PrimoVE you can't consistently sort book chapters into the correct order. Even when using the facets to filter and sort results, it still returns chapters in a variety of orders.
For example, searching for the following book and filtering by ‘Book Chapters’, refining the year to ‘2015’ and sorting by ‘Title’ still returned the chapters in the wrong order (see attached screenshot).

My Library Card: Digital LOANS
It would really be helpful to have a tab or include borrowed digital books under patron loans so that its easy for them to renew or see what digital books they borrowed and need to return. Currently there is no ability for a patron to see what digital books they may have borrowed and need to return.
