Allow requestors to see new requested item due date from My Requests
In the My Requests area of my Library Card, the requestor does not see the new due date of the requested item, only that the request is “Not started. Place in queue is _”. It would helpful for the requestor to be able to see the due date, even if it isn't guaranteed that the item will be returned by the patron who has it on that date. Wording could be: "Currently on loan with a due date of [ ]. Your request is no. [ ] in queue.".

Pin Title-Level bibliographic record at top of Newspaper Search results
Many users at our institution simply want to browse the most recent issue of a newspaper we have a subscription to. They are not searching for specific articles.
It would benefit our users if the newspaper search results provided easy access directly to the record (and view-online link) for a specific newspaper title. Perhaps this could be similar to the "Highlight Reference Entry On Top" where the appropriate record is pinned to the top of the results.
So, a Newspaper Search for "New York Times" ought to pin the title-level bibliographic record (that our institution has full access to) to…

Advanced search: holding call number
We would like Primo VE to be able to search for all the 852 subfields in holdings (852 $h to $m).

In Primo BO it's possible via xservices API to get a rank value for a record. That output should also be available for Primo REST API.

add vernacular title to exported records in Primo VE
hi,
in primo back office it's possible to use a mapping table to add the display/vertitle field to exports to RefWorks and RIS but the export mappings in Primo VE seem to be fixed and the equivalent of the vertitle field is not included. this should be a straightforward addition and provide much better exported references for users - thanks for considering!

EBooks from "Initiative E-Books.NRW" to CDI
As part of "Initiative E-Books.NRW" from the Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft NRW we now have access to about 100.000 E-Books from several providers. The Ministerium published a press release of this issue in January (https://www.mkw.nrw/presse/e-books-nrw).
We don't want to put the metadata into our local system, because the access to the content is limited to 3 years. After the 3 years we may have access to content that was frequently asked. For now it is not clear, which content that may be.

Archival materials misleadingly accessible via ILL
When searching my institution's PrimoVE instance with the "Add results beyond your library's collection" box checked (it is checked by default), users are getting search results that include archival and special collections materials from other institutions. Users who log in can request these items via EZBorrow or ILL, but this is misleading because archival and special collections materials do not circulate and cannot be checked out or delivered to another library. Primo VE's paganation feature choises also to the top of results
Primo VE's new pagination feature's options to change to another page should be added also to the top of results. Or maybe the choise could be floating at the bottom of the page, visible all the time.
Now if you have chosen 50 results per page the choises are pretty long way down.3 votes -
Request in PRIMO VE - Terms of Use (TOU) selection appears unnecessarily
When there is only one TOU in the Request, the option to choose TOU should not be displayed.

citation linker - highlight required fields
I'm suggesting an out of the box configuration option to highlight the required fields in the citation linker. I have adjusted the text, to let our users know that an identifier is required but the text can easily be missed. We recently migrated to Alma/Primo VE and when we had 360/Summon, we were able to highlight the required fields in the citation linker. I am investigating CSS customization options.

Allow the available figure for Physical items to be configured
The available figure in Primo for Physical items includes all items which are not on loan. We want to be able to exclude items with certain item policies or item locations from this figure.
These items will still be displayed within Primo but will not be included in the available count.3 votes -
Increase security for option to delete a view in Primo VE
Right now it is all too easy to delete a Primo VE view. If the option to delete a view is accidentally clicked on the drop down menu, a confirmation message appears with the "confirm" option highlighted. A confused user might click enter to get rid of the message without reading the message. This happened to us recently. A user who selects the delete option should have to type in the view code to confirm deletion. This extra step would help to prevent accidental deletion.

Restrict display of digital collections by campus in views
In the same way that you can allow/disallow the display of electronic resources like ebooks in a specific view in Primo VE based on the campus of the view.
You should be able to restrict the display of specific digital items and collections.
For example if I want to make a digitial collection of database entries for my users, but I want to mark some databases as being only available/visible to a specific campus, then they shouldn't show in other views.

In Primo, readers often can not distinguish the difference of the book and the attachment of the book(ex: CD-ROM). So readers often request the barcode number of the attachment of the book first wrongly, and then find that they really want to request the book instead of the attachment of book(CD-ROM). Searching in the collection discovery: exact search terms
In connection with Collection Discovery, a question has come up regarding usability:
Why is a search of exact search terms set and can we change this?
Example: Searching for the search term "kalender" in our sub-collection "Abschlussarbeiten Buch- und Medienwirtschaft und Publishing Management" of the top level collection "Abschlussarbeiten" does not return any hits. If you search for "kalender*", no hits are found either. However, there are a total of 2 titles with "kalender" in the title.
Can this behaviour be changed/improved? It makes it difficult for our users to access available media and they think we don't have anything…3 votes -
Add due dates to Email Record Template
Under the Loans section in Library Card, users can export the list of their loans via email. The email contains names of loans, but not their due dates.
Could due dates be added to the Records Email Template, so the users can see their loans due date in the email export?
