    There is a history of searches for "All titles" in Alma.
    It can be cool to have a history for other types of searches such as:
    "Order lines", "Invoices" and etc.

  2. Auto refresh function for the total price of a PO

    The customer of 86THU would like the total price of a PO could be updated automatically when the POLs were added or removed before clicking the Save button. For example, if you sum up some numbers in Excel, the total will be updated in real-time when you add or remove any numbers.

  3. Auto update to Resource Locate Status

    When we purchase a material thought the request from Leganto, after the item is delivered and processed by Library, the Resources Locate Status is still "Resource Located" but not "Check Availability", it is necessary to make the Alma update automatically.

  4. Add Signature Verification to Online Import

    Currently when configuring a Student Information System (SIS) for Online Import, you are only able to use basic authentication with an API. It would be nice to also send a signature to ensure that Alma is actually sending the message.

  5. Move multiple PO lines.

    PO lines on a bib record can only be moved one by one using the "Change Bib Reference" tool. When there are multiple PO lines, sometimes twenty or more, this can be a slow, tedious process. It would be helpful to be able to select multiple lines and link them to a new record all at once.

  6. Ways to track the history of changes in Physical Locations configuration

  7. Add payment method column to Fines and Fees Details view

    On the user details screen on the Fines and Fees tab in the Fines and Fees Details view it would be helpful if the column Payment Method was given as a possible column to view.

  8. In Analytics Borrowing Requests subject area, add Shipped date. In Lending Requests subject area, add Received by Borrower date and Request

    In Analytics Borrowing Requests subject area, add Shipped date. In Lending Requests subject area, add Received by Borrower date and Request Completed date. The addition of these fields will allow us to more accurately calculate turnaround time, which in turn can help us improve our service standards.

  9. F3 lookup for 3XX Authority Record Control Fields

    In the June 2019 release, a new feature was added to MD Editor to look up 3xx MARC fields in an authority record against certain other place names or subject names from the SAME authority vocabulary.

    I'd like to suggest Ex Libris to add a function to allow F3 lookup of 3xx MARC fields against certain place names, corporate names, personal names, and subject names from another authority vocab. This is because we want to borrow the standard of Library of Congress's established place names, corporate names, personal names, and subject names, when we create our own authority vocabulary.

  10. Add a new item level material type for 78 rpm sound recordings

    The only options for 78 rpm sound recordings currently are "sound recording" or "record (phonodisc)." There is a material type for LPs, so why not for 78s? This is very important for music libraries and archives. Thank you!

  13. Expanding Task List

    For resource sharing, the task list should include "Canceled by Staff". Specifically:

    Borrowing requests - Canceled by Staff - assigned to you
    Borrowing requests - Canceled by Staff - unassigned

    For institutions which do not use an ILL package such as ILLiad, this is the only way to be informed that a request was unfilled besides manually searching in the Borrowing Requests field.

  14. Replicate Voyager Alternate Vendor Search Names

    The ExLibris Voyager product allows for alternate vendor search names.

    These are extremely useful for several instances:
    1) DBA - Bob Smith dba Susan Jones Book Services
    Would like to search for both "Bob Smith" and "Susan Jones" in Vendors
    2) Company name changes - Yankee Book Peddler -> YBP -> GOBI Solutions...
    Especially helpful with a swath of generational employees who may refer to a vendor using a name that is 5, 10 or 20 years old
    3) Abbreviations - Lib. of Congress vs. Library of Congress. Or... ARL vs. Association of Research Libraries. Or... ALA vs. American Library…

  15. POL load fiscal year

    During import of POL, please add a field to load the fund's Fiscal Year/Period. This is necessary for running Acquisitions with Accrual Accounting enabled. Right now, according to development: "if the next Fiscal Period is active and the funds are valid then the Encumbrance will be made on the next FP. This is what is the expected behavior from Alma." I'm not sure why it's "expected" to always load POL into the most distant future year-- but regardless, I need the ability to load into a specific Fiscal Year.   16. Access to the bibliographic access points of our own catalogue while editing a bibliographic record

    When we edit a bibliographic record it's very useful to access and add to the record the different access points of our catalogue in order to avoid typing all the string of data, even if there is no authority record.   18. Add user notes to user_for_printing in letters XML

    We use a hold shelf for most books, but some need to be sent by mail, and this is indicated in user notes.

    Would be really useful if user notes could be included in the XML for letters like FulPlaceOnHoldShelfLetter and FulReasourceRequestSlipLetter. Then we could modify the output from these according to content found in the notes.

  19. Make it easier to configure Alma vendor order letter. XML and Style sheets require to much background to quickly set up.

    Provide a generic-simple Word letter for ordering that Acquisitions can customize by adding pertinent info to such as vendor name and address, title, price, terms, and the libraries contact info. The editing and testing of the current letter now is very cumbersome. Can you use a savable word document that allow you to copy and paste in a vendor's email and the basic info of the title to be purchases. Xml and style sheets are too time consuming and needs more software skills than many Acquisitions Department have access to. I just want to email an order to the vendor.…

  20. Allow for multiple holdings records and item records to be opened at one time.

    Sometimes, it's helpful to look at multiple holdings records at the same time to compare. It's also helpful to have the system open all of the item records for a holdings record at one time if you're gong to be doing minor changes to each one.
