  1. Include MMS ID in Excel output from Manage Sets Results pages

    The MMS ID is essential information when dealing with spreadsheets of records, and yet it is missing from Excel output of lists of sets and search results. Please include the MMS ID in all output Excel spreadsheets of Repository records.

  2. To show a pop-up window a day or two ahead of time when the Patron's Library ID is about to expire and then a pop window saying it is expire

    TMS library fulfillment management wants to show a pop-up window a day or two ahead of time when the Patron's Library ID is about to expire and then a pop window saying the patron's account is expired.

  3. User Group fee

    I would like it to be possible for a fee to be added to a user record when a certain user group is selected, eg.Postal Loans. The patrons are not imported with this user type - it is changed when they make the request to receive loans by post. There is currently no functionality that allows a fee to be added automatically when a new User group is manually selected.

  4. More than one work order type per Word Order Department

    In our library, one physical location in the library handles many processes. However, we still want patrons to see a different status for each kind of work order. Right now, only one work order type (the source of the Primo Statuse) can be associated with any given work order department (the currently at location.) So, in order for our patrons to be able to tell the difference between an item at the bindery and an item being repaired in house (with their corresponding turn around time) our staff has to switch currently at locations when they switch tasks.   5. Include the ISBN/ISSN dropdown box in 'Other Service' PO lines

    We regularly need to order additional copies of ebooks, for example, if credits run out. If we are getting these from the same supplier, we don't want to create a duplicate portfolio, so we want to add an order without creating inventory. Using the order type 'Other Service' would be ideal, however there is no option to include the ISBN in the order, which vendors depend on for identifying the order via EDI. It would be great if this function could be added to 'Other Service' orders.

  6. Producing the shipping forms by supplier

    Each time a request has been marked "Ship" or "Return", the request details will be collected on a "Shipping Form" (by supplier).

    When ready to ship a package -with returned/requested books- to another library, "print form" will:
    1. Produce a full detailed form to include with the box
    2. Will start a new form for future package.

    There isn't a possibility to configure the display of a journal's 'Description'. It is possible to edit templates in MD editor to configure which subfields will be displayed, however the display order of these fields is NOT configurable.

    We need a configuration possibility for journal's 'Description'.

  8. Analytics: Add ability to search/filter by the Holdings record suppression tag

    A Suppress from Discovery flag exists for both the Bibliographic and the Holdings record, but only the Bib flag is present in Analytics. This field should be added [and is yet another example of how poorly Analytics handles Holdings data as opposed to Bibliographic or Item data]

  9. Show editions of books when a repository search is done in either Physical Title search, or Physical Item search, not just all item search

    It's frustrating to do a physical title search or physical item search and only be showing the year of publication but not the edition, the edition only seems to show in an all item search.

  10. Please make the MARC bib. 245 subfield p from the bibliographic record available.

    The MARC 245 subfield p from the bibliographic record is not exposed to Primo. This means that the data in the b245p is not available to display to users in the My Account section of Primo, to letters sent to users, as part of the requesting process and on pull slips for items. This becomes important when the items have 245a data that is the same. For example, when a video game has the same name with more info in the 245p like the ones below.

  11. Option to change item policy in batch

    User can have the option to select all the items under a holding record and change the item policy batch for them all at once.

  12. "Save and dismiss" button in "Manage EDI Tasks"

    In the "Manage EDI Tasks", when using the "Update Expected Receipt Date" action, updating the date and clicking on "Save", it would be great the concerned line would automatically be removed from the list without having additionally to click on "Dismiss". A new function button like "Save and dismiss" would be helpful.

  13. British Library Billing Account codes visible in Lending Resource Sharing

    Display partner Billing Account codes in Lending side for UK Alma Institutions. This is vital information for reimbursements within the UK and reduces the need for paperwork. British Library Billing Accounting is the UK standard workflow, with a view to being ISO compliant.

    In the resource request management area when printing the pull slips it would be helpful to have the option to print these in LC Call Number Order.

  15. sound alert for task

    Sound Alerts for Pick From Shelf Requests
    Can we please have a sound alert when new "Pick from Shelf" requests arrive as we use this for Reading Room requests which need to be actioned as soon as they arrive. Sound alerts would need to optional.
    It would be good to have these available for other tasks in fulfillment such as when "holds" or "lost books" are returned and another action needs to happen

  17. When using Scan in Items, provide a pop-up window when there is a hold on an item.

    When we process returned materials from resource sharing partners we use Scan in Items. If there is a hold on an item it only displays the message on the screen, and does not provide a pop-up alert. It would seem useful to provide a similar pop-up like you get when processing items with Return Items.

  18. Filter Acquisitions POL sets by fiscal period

    Manage Sets is useful for quick lists of orderlines but it's not possible to filter by fiscal period. This results in large sets which take a long time to display and then need to be filtered offline in Excel.

    Adding a new filter of fiscal period in Acquisitions Manage Sets could help reduce the load on Alma and produce more relevant sets.

  19. Add fields for Title of unit and other descriptors to the Item Record OR add radial buttons to Item record and description templates

    Currently, there is no good way to use the “Generate” button in the item record to create descriptions for supplements and indexes. In the interest of consistency, we intentionally do NOT enter the descriptions manually, which greatly improves searching and sorting of serials.
    While it is possible to have supplements and indexes list separately by creating separate records and adding the $o (unit title) to field 864 (supplements) or 865 (indexes), the holdings list does not display the unit title, so there is no visual difference between the two holdings.   20. Interested Users with API

    When ordering with YBP using the API, it would improve workflow to add a hold for a patron into the Interested Users tab. Right now we add hold information into the Library Note field that goes to the Notes tab in Alma. We have to take an extra step to check for a possible hold with each title and add it to the Interested Users tab manually. It would be much better if the API would do it for us either by creating a new field to enter the information in GOBI or take it from the Library Notes field…
