Making it possible to use both arrow sign (←, →) as characters and Alma's directional character function.
When we configure [Alma configration > Resources > General > Other settings > enabledirectionalcharacters > true], "←" and "→" can't be entered in the MDE.
Also, if opening migrated records which include "→", all the "→" are deleted like the example below.

Digital representation: Access Rights Policy & embargo
We would like to use the date of death of the creator in order to define a rule for embargo. This information is available in the subfield $$d from the 100/700
Currently it's possible to define a rule for embargo where Access is denied based on any of the following date:

Fixed Date
MMS Creation Date
Publication Year

Sort Subfields Task does not work correctly in combination with Authorities - Preferred Term Correction
We've defined the following Sort Subfields Task but there seems to be a problem in combination with "GND Authorities -Preferred Term correction"

711: iagendctkplfs0The subfield i which we defined as first in 700/710/711 is suddenly put last. If this happen, the latest job that was run is always Authorities - Preferred Term correction
In any case, the sorting should be the way we defined it in the Sort Subfields Task

Browse Shelf Listing: add support to configure the default call number level
In the Browse shelf listing, currently, the “call number level” is set by default to “Holding call number” and it’s not configurable.
It’s possible to set a default value for the “call number type” but not for the “call number level”. We would like to have the possibilty to change the “call number level” by default as it's for the “call number type”.1 vote -
When "Add field", Alma should decide whether subfield a should be added depends on the field.
"Add field" adds [an empty filed + subfield a] under other than the 0XX. However, for example, when we would like to add 035 under 008, $$a is not added and we need to add it by ourselves.
The setting of that field should be decided at that timing. It seems reasonable to specify 007 to display a form for 007, 008 to display a form suitable for 008, and $$a for non-fixed length fields.2 votes -
Add alphabetic title search field to the external databases search fields in Alma
when searching external databases in order to import a relevant record i notice there are many search fields by words but non of them is by alphabetic order. Especially missing a search field by alphabetic title.

Add bib metadata to custom view for portfolios
Right now, there's no way to see edition (subfield 250) or publication/copyright date (subfield 260/264) from a list of portfolios.
These fields should be added to the customize view options for portfolio lists.

Delay between item return and item being available for loan
Currently, you can set a reshelving time (period of hours), during which a returned item will display as awaiting shelving until xxxx. The item is however available for loan from the moment it is returned, the reshelving time is merely an indication the item may not be on the shelf. This is expected and how the feature should work.
But can the reshelving time include an option, or can a new configuration be created, which will set the item to unavailable for a given period after return: ie an item is scanned as returned, but remains unavailable for loan for…

Prioritising Digitisation requests over hold requests for processing
Is it possible to have digitisation requests automatically prioritised to the top of a request queue over the physical item requests. Currently all physical item and digitisation requests go by the date they are placed by the patron. We find that patrons are waiting months sometimes just to get a copy of a chapter, where as if all digitisations were automatically at the top of the list they could all be processed and then items loaned to patrons.

Hide Leganto-specific features from Course Reserves when institution has not implemented Leganto
There is a very large number of links, buttons, and options in the Course Reserves area of Alma that only function if Leganto has been implemented. This severely complicates rollout of course reserves and is an ongoing annoyance. Perhaps Leganto-specific user roles could be added, and if a user does not have those roles, then the features would not appear.

Include parser override values in it's own column in extended export report
Include parser override values in it's own column in extended export report
It's not possible to view which portfolios in a collection have parser override values. Currently, the value is included in the parser parameters value in extended export reports.
It would be helpful with managing portfolios to have a way to see when a portfolio has a parser override value. That way, we could check on those portfolios and make sure the CZ parser value has been corrected.

Make images of material bigger
Please make the image of the book, DVD, etc. much bigger in the search results. Students can often identify their titles if they can clearly see the cover image. It would help reference work.

POL and its communication must be sent to account provider email
At the moment in ALMA, if a POL has a communication:
• the POL is sent in a first notification to accound provider email
• the communication (with its file attached) is sent in a second notification to provider email.
This behavour is not logical and doesn't respond to our need.
Our request : POL and communication (with files attached) must be sent to accound provider email in one notification.

Network Zone Advanced search should allow a search for "Held By"
The ability to quickly run a repository search for an institution or institutions holdings as well as when "Held by" is Null in the Network Zone would be extremely useful for weeding and Network Zone Clean-up.
Currently, the NZ does not have the ability to search using "Held by". To gather information for specific Institutions or when "Held by" is null requires an analytics report or exporting sets, which are limited to approximately 100K results.
Creating a search index for "Held by" for Network Zone advanced searches would be a great improvement to the functionality of working with a Network…

Closed Library Due Date Management- new option for short Loan Items
For Short Loan Items (due time in hours)
If for some reason the library is still open (partial opening for query) even though it is closed for Alma

Option to delete bib directly from results page
When viewing a list of search results for holdings or items, there is an option to delete selected holdings or withdraw selected items from the list page, without opening them to edit. Having this function for bibliographic records results as well would be very useful. For example, when we have consolidated holdings from two bibs onto one, we are left with a bib for deletion. There is no need to go through the process of opening it for editing in the MDE only to delete it. A drop down option to "delete bib" would make sense and be much more…

Short Loan Reminder - overdue notice doesn't display due time
The Short Loan Reminder uses the Full Overdue and Lost Loan Notification letter for the overdue reminder (sent x minutes after due time). This letter does not display the due time of loans however, and is not configurable.

Please add an option to create a set at Browse Bibliographic Headings results page. Please also make it possible to download a list of the records to Excel.
