Ability to configure the subject list names of the Browse Bibliographic Headings
Currently, the Browse Bibliographic Headings subject list names the CZ vocabularies and is OTB provided and cannot be changed.

Add a new the Resource Type facets for Kit
Currently, the facet Kit is defined as follow:
Kit – Physical LDR pos. 06 = o AND 008 pos. 33 = b AND 008 pos. 29 != a,b,c,o,f,q,sWe sometimes use Kit for electronic material with Leader 06 o (= Kit) and 008 Position 29: s and this is a "Undefined" facet in Alma.

MDE menu bar
Allow customization of the menu bar for the new MDE. Personally I'd add an icon for "view inventory" and a trash can for "delete" These were icons on the old MDE that I used constantly. By making a drag/drop menu bar supervisors could create menu bars for staff based on the tasks. Thank you.

Metadata Editor: Stop snapping window away from cursor
On records that have large 5xx fields, when I am adding 6xxs the window snaps away so that I cannot see what I am editing.

Return Expand From Template wide drop-down menu
In the previous metadata editor the drop-down menu of serial patterns was wide enough so that we could see the complete description of each pattern. The new metadata editor cuts off the descriptions so that we must guess which is the correct pattern, and then remove the field and start over if the guess is wrong.

Additional keyboard shortcut
The / as a way of getting back to the top search box from search results is great but doesn't work from within the Metadata editor. When I have dealt with the item record I am left in the List of Items and then want a keyboard shortcut to get back up to search box. Ctrl Alt F used to work but takes me somewhere different now.

Active/inactive indicator for electronic collections
We propose an indicator - e.g. a yes/no radio button set - to indicate whether or not an electronic collection is active. This will make it easier to exclude inactive electronic collections from searches and Analytics reports. Current methods of indicating this status aren't comprehensive. The bib can be suppressed, and/or the URL removed, but there are other reasons to suppress bib records and remove URLs (such as when we want only portfolios to display in our discovery layer). View actually linked bib records in 'Browse bibliographic headings'
When using the Browse bibliographic headings feature, it is not possible to diplay the list of bib records that are ACTUALLY linked to one authority. We can only see the bib records that match with the authority.
On the contrary, when using the F3 index, Alma provides an extra menu in the 'View' option of a bibliographic heading where one can choose between records that match the authority or records that are linked to the authority.
This Idea requests that the same feature be added in the Browse bib heading tool.22 votesThis idea has not received sufficient support from the community through votes. Sort Subfields Task does not work correctly in combination with Authorities - Preferred Term Correction
We've defined the following Sort Subfields Task but there seems to be a problem in combination with "GND Authorities -Preferred Term correction"

Browse Shelf Listing: add support to configure the default call number level
In the Browse shelf listing, currently, the “call number level” is set by default to “Holding call number” and it’s not configurable.

Back button in new MD Editor
Please add a Back button to the new MD Editor. This is necessary in the Relink item records to another bib record process. When we create a new holdings record in the middle of the relink process, the Back button allows us to go back to the relink process, and finish up. Details, please refer to Salesforce case # 909005.

MARC21 local field 930 should be "repeatable" as the same as the other 9XX fields.
930 is a not special field among 9XX but Alma sets it as non repeatable unlike other 9XX fields. We should use "extension pack" to change 930 repeatable.

When "Add field", Alma should decide whether subfield a should be added depends on the field.
"Add field" adds [an empty filed + subfield a] under other than the 0XX. However, for example, when we would like to add 035 under 008, $$a is not added and we need to add it by ourselves.
The setting of that field should be decided at that timing. It seems reasonable to specify 007 to display a form for 007, 008 to display a form suitable for 008, and $$a for non-fixed length fields.2 votesHello All,

Option to delete bib directly from results page
When viewing a list of search results for holdings or items, there is an option to delete selected holdings or withdraw selected items from the list page, without opening them to edit. Having this function for bibliographic records results as well would be very useful. For example, when we have consolidated holdings from two bibs onto one, we are left with a bib for deletion. Customisable per-record merge options in Search Resources
We would like it to be possible to get external resource searching (Search Resources) to merge only specific fields from a given record.
By which we mean: when clicking on View to view a record from an external resource, or alternatively when clicking on the elipsis next to a brief result, the options include Copy & Merge.

Merge & Combine inventory enhancement to allow the records the split screen editor use a drag and drop featuer
It would be great to have an easy way to change the primary bib record when using "Merge & Combine" in the new MDE. Assigning Authority Control Tasks to Specific Staff Members
At the end of each month, I go into the Authority Control Task List, dismiss headings I don’t want my staff to work on, and export the other headings to an Excel spreadsheet, which we work off directly.
It would be helpful if there was a way to assign tasks to my staff directly and have it appear in the general task menu on the Alma homepage.
