  1. Contact Information Pop-Up configuration - Hyperlinks

    IT would be useful if the Primary Identifier was a hyperlink in the Contact Information Pop-Up of a user, so that the user details screen was displayed in just one click instead of havign to copy, paste search and then click.

  3. Users remove blocks

    It would be usefull for an operator to delete selected blocks in the tab block of an user card in the same way of fines/fees, marking them and delete them in one go.
    This idea because the operators can't run the job "Users - Remove Blocks".

    We think especially at those libraries where users are not always on time to return books and deleting them individually it's a waste of time.
    it is not nice to delete blocks one by one.
    It would be better if the operator could mark blocks and delete them in one go.

  4. Add signatures to 'General mail' messages (via User Details screen)

    When sending 'General mail' messages via the User Details screen, would it be possible to have a facility to create/select signatures?

    It's not a biggie but would save a bit of time and effort entering information that needs to go on many messages.

  5. User Group fee

    I would like it to be possible for a fee to be added to a user record when a certain user group is selected, eg.Postal Loans. The patrons are not imported with this user type - it is changed when they make the request to receive loans by post. There is currently no functionality that allows a fee to be added automatically when a new User group is manually selected.

  6. Improve how operator transactions/history is displayed throughout system due to privacy concerns

    Operator identifiers are displayed throughout the system in various places, such as History and Notes tabs and the Receiving Operator field in the Physical Item Editor. These display as the operator's employee number, which has been raised by staff as a privacy concern. Currently, configuration can be set to disable this display only in the History tab, and only for users that do not have Manager or Administrator roles assigned to them. This is problematic for several reasons:
    - Privacy concerns being raised by staff that their employee id is viewable by other users throughout the system
    - "Hide" function…

  7. To add the "primary identifier" to the export list of the user set

    We would like to add the "primary identifier" to the export list of the user set.

    We will use the excel file with "primary identifier" to establish the User set, but not all the primary identifier can be loaded into the user set. So

  8. How about sending or allowing to send e-mails to users that previously booked any material from the library?

    Please, configure ALMA to send e-amils to users that made a booking or let the librarians to do it manually.

  9. Order the toolbar

    For each user the order of "Manage patrons", "Return items", and "Scan in items" is in a different order. You should be able to arrange these so that it is the same for each user.

  10. Give institutions the ability to have local versions of user roles

    We have just gone live and I'm setting up accounts for our liaison librarians. I'd like to create a copy of the Purchase Request Operator role to use with liaisons. I'd like fewer permissions than the canned version but I can't have ExL edit the current one because other staff need the role as it is currently. I think we should be able to make a local version of a user role that can then be edited without changing the canned user role. That or just let us keep the Selector role so I can have that edited.

  11. "delete loan" option

    In the loan tab, in the patron folder, there is an option called "Delete loan". This option is offered when you click on "..." for an active loan.

    This option is "dangerous" because if we use it, there is no more history of the previous loan. Is it possible to offer the possibility to hide this option for certain users? It could be comprehensible to offer this functionnality to chief but not to desk operators.

  12. Display all roles on a user's record at the same time

    Only 20 roles display at a time on a user's record.

    For users with more than 20 roles assigned to their record, give the option to display all roles at the same time.

    If you edit a role to add a desk, and that role exists on page 2 of the role list, it will "refresh" the display so that you're back on page 1 of the role list. You then have to scroll down the record and page forward again if you want to go back to the place you were.

  13. General Mail Attachments

    Could the General Mail facility be amended to allow staff to add attachments to an email sent to a patron via the USer Management screen?
