Converting Digitization request to RS request - The “Delivery Location” should be selected as “Alternative address”.
When converting a digitization request to resource sharing borrowing request. The “Delivery Location” should be selected as “Alternative address”. So that the rapidILL proess can run automatically. Or at least Customers should be able to pick a default location for the address when a request is converted to a resource sharing borrowing request.

Add "Job category" in the expandable requester's info label in the RS request.
We would like to have a requester's "Job category" (Department) listed in the expandable requester's info label in the RS request (see the picture attached).
When a request is unfilled the Document Delivery staff send a notification message to the relevant department mailbox straight from the request via “Send query to patron”.
Currently, we must open the requester's account to find out their department then go back to the request to send a message. This is very inconvenient.
It would be useful to make the label modifiable to let a library to create the label by selecting only parameters necessary…2 votes -
Enable opting out of automatic deletion of unused labels in Resource Sharing
It should be possible to opt out of automatic deletion of unused labels. For example, we have a label "To be Checked" which is used frequently and we aim to remove it from all records by the end of every working day. The automatic deletion means that we have to re-enter the label the next day as there are usually no records left with the label.

Ability to edit label names
I would like to be able to edit label names as you can't delete or remove old ones if they are in use. Ability to edit the name so it will change on all records using it wold be useful.

Shipping Cost Lender Rule
We need to Edit the list of partners in a Shipping Cost Lender Rule and not just Delete the entire input parameter.

Easier Navigation when working within a request category
Having "next request" and "previous request" options/buttons when working within a group/category of resource sharing requests within ALMA (e.g. cancelled by patron/staff) similar to OCLC's Worldshare

Prevent RS requests from having a queue of requesters
We have noticed some Resource Sharing requests appearing in the Activate Next tab on the Expired Hold Shelf (Fulfillment). Activate Next activates the next request in the queue, which cancels the first request and makes the item available to the next requester. However, within our workflows Resource Sharing requests don't have a queue of requesters. If the request automatically goes to the another patron, the next patron will not have signed the copyright declaration.

Display 245 subfield "p" in "Additional descriptive information" for Electronic Collection
“Additional descriptive information” is now displaying subfield 'a' only without subfield 'p'. It is impossible to check whether it is correct or not by the name if there are few bibliographic records which have the same subfield 'a'.

In Cataloging/Authorities, indicate if subject is divisible by place ($z) in the Authority record
In cataloging, when we look at an authority record (in the community zone) we need to know if the subject heading is authorized to be subdivided by place, for example ($z California $z San Francisco)

British Library ARTEmail needs author adding to this email
There is a significant problem which is for requests going to the British Library. The ARTEmail output from ALMA emailed to the British Library has the Author line missing. There we are receiving the wrong items, while we attempt to set up the BLDSS API.

The Internal Identifier number automatically assigned to Borrowing Requests once they are sent to partner is long and cumbersome
The number is quite long and my team is having difficulty managing it when looking up requests or spotting it on the in-tray. We've noticed that the first two letters and the final seven are always the same, with the unique identifying numbers in the middle. I'm not sure what the numbers mean, if the stable numbers identify our institution or similar, but could a couple dashes be added?
i.e. 33-1008366-0002761 instead of 3310083660002761
Either that or can the Internal Identifier search could be made into a fuzzy/variant search so my team could just search for the seven unique middle…

Remove Request cost section in Borrowing Request section
Make the request cost section in the borrowing request section configurable so that it doesn't display. As our doc del team do not need it, as we don't charge customers or partners for doc del.

Ability to flag a request for further investigation/Make notes visible from request summary
Currently there is no ability to flag a request for further investigation. This would be useful in both lending and borrowing.
In lending:
If an item is being returned and we need to change the call number, if we could flag the item a staff member could look at the notes and make the changes.If the item has previously been lost and has been returned. We now need to do further work on the item before it can go back to the shelf. Once again we need to go into the notes to find out what we need to…

Allow for multi field searching in Borrowing Requests or a Keyword search that allows you to search patron and request details
To find a resource sharing request more easily allow searches to be across multiple fields. e.g Robertson cancer nursing. Searching Robertson as the patron and cancer nursing as keywords in the title.

when convert resource sharing request to purchase request - having default settings
Currently when a resource sharing request is changed to a purchase request our doc del team have to change the same settings everytime. It would be better if we could set defaults on this process, so this team doesn't have to keep changing the same settings.

Lending: Ship Item Digitally, option to Complete request
It should be possible to Complete a request when using Ship Item Digitally in the same way that this option exists when supplying via Ship Item

When converting a digitization request to resource sharing borrowing request - The “Alternative address” should provide a requesters email address. This would make the process for resource sharing borrowing requests going directly into RapidILL work a lot smoother.

Converting Digitization request to RS request - The “Requested Pickup Location” should be filled from “Resource sharing library” a requester
When converting a digitization request to resource sharing borrowing request. The “Requested Pickup Location” should be filled by the requesters “Resource sharing library”. Currently there is “No campus” set. As a library that has 8 different campuses, it would be useful to know where the requester wish to pickup the item on conversation. As has an automatic default process, if the item is electronic.
