Make personal delivery labels in Resource Sharing request form configurable
We have had many complaints from users who don't understand what Work Address means in the pickup/delivery location drop down menu in the resource sharing form, or they don't even see it.
We much prefer the layout within the patron physical item request form where home and work address are separated from Library pickup locations under a personal delivery heading and where we can customise the labels for Home and Work Address.
Please make the same functionality available in the resource sharing request form so that we can make all of our request forms a consistent experience for users.

Display of actions on Borrowing screen
We would like to change the order of the actions on Borrowing requests. Currently the order is:
Duplicate, Send, Send Query to Patron, Request Renew, Receive, Edit Shipping Cost, Recall, Return, General Message, Reassign.We would like to split Send and Send Query to Patron.
A possible solution is to change the name to: Patron Notification or Notification to Patron.Thanks

Alma RS Borrowing - view the patron ID (primary identifier) number in the main body of a borrowing request
When you edit a borrowing request you can't see the patron ID number in any of the fields. It is only seen when you come out of editing a request and view the details next to the Request name. It should be seen with the request information.

Request status "Pending" and "On Waiting List"
Add statuses to resource sharing borrowing request status field
Is it possible to add two more statuses to the drop-down list for the Request Status field in a resource sharing borrowing request? We would like to add “Pending" and "On Waiting List".

Override Resource Sharing Request Limit
There is an Active Resource Sharing Request limit, which you set in the Fulfillment rules for your resource sharing libraries.
However there doesn't appear to be an ability to allow staff to override this limit, which from time to time they need to do.
I propose that there is a parameter that allows staff with a particular role the ability to override this limit.
Either something that was set as the default for the Fulfillment Services Manager role, or a block preference that you can override.5 votes -
Prevent hold requests for users not eligible for Resource Sharing from being converted into Resource Sharing requests
When you convert a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma does not check the resource sharing library's borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules to make sure the user is allowed to submit resource sharing requests. This makes it possible to create resource sharing requests for users who do not have resource sharing privileges. When converting a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma should check the check the borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules. If the user is not allowed to submit resource sharing requests, a warning message should appear.

Borrowing: Upload File, Add Note option
It should be possible to add a Note at the same time as Uploading a File to a patron. Currently, we have to send a separate Patron Query Template after the link has been sent.

Compare loan due date with partner library's due date to determine renewal
We have the mediated patron renewal workflow activated for Borrowing Requests. Users often request renewal of interlibrary loans via My Library Account that do not need renewing with the partner library because a further loan period fits within the due date that the partner library has set.
Currently, staff check these two dates manually and extend the user's due date in their record if a renewal with the partner library isn't necessary.
However, we would like Alma to have the ability to do this check for us, and automatically extend the user's due date if it is within the partner…5 votes -
Borrowing request - "save and edit" button for all requests.
Now "save and edit" is only an option for the borrowing req. made manually, would be helpful option for all req.

Enhance Holdings Records Mapping to include the 007 field and other control fields
Enhance the Holdings Records Mapping feature (new as of March 2018) to include adding 007 fields and other control fields during the import process. Per SalesForce case #00525849, this new feature currently only works with data fields (non-control fields).

Reactivate exported borrowing resource sharing requests
Resource sharing borrowing requests which have been exported to third party broker systems should be able to be reactivated, in the same way as completed requests sent to P2P partners.
This is needed because we make mistakes! Sometimes a request is sent to a broker by accident.
We also need to be able to handle workflows which combine brokers and P2P partners. We want to be able to send a request to a broker system, and then if the request cannot be filled via that broker, to be able to return to the Alma request and assign alternative P2P partners.

Borrowing: Upload File, Preview File option
When Uploading a File, it should be possible to preview the file before clicking on send, to prevent the wrong file from being uploaded.

Note in pop-up requester card in Borrowing requests
We have certain patrons with special conditions (e.g. they can't use ebooks) that we need to know about when we're putting through Borrowing requests. We keep a record of these in a spreadsheet, but this wastes a lot of time for staff.
I would like to see notes in patron records display in the Requester information pop-up card in Borrowing requests. This will make it a lot easier for staff to manage these requests.

Allow lending RS locate process to fail if it cannot determine which volume from a multi-volume set is being requested
Currently, Alma's lending locate process will automatically select a single volume from a multi-volume set if it can't determine which specific volume is being requested in a title level lending reqeust. It often selects the incorrect volume, and that error is rarely caught before the incorrect volume arrives at the borrowing library. It would be very helpful if the lending locate process failed in these scenarios rather. That would give library staff the opportunity to manually review the reqeust and select the correct volume.

Allow conditionals and general messages to be sent to and received from ILLiad ISO resource sharing partners
The SUNY system has started sending resource sharing borrowing requests dircectly to a non-SUNY library's ILLiad via an ISO ILLiad resource sharing partner. Things are going well for the most part, but we're unable to pass general messages to ILLiad, and we're unable to receive conditional messages from ILLiad. Could you please work with Atlas Systems on allowing these messages to be passed between systems?

Hold Notification letter. With resource sharing, that the notice comes from the library that has the item on hold for pickup.
Because hold notification come from the lending library that has supplied the item, patrons are confused and do not always open and read the notification for directions. Having the hold notification come from the borrowing library where the item actually is waiting on the hold shelf for pick up would clear up the confusion of who has the item.

Hide Pickup Location on Blank ILL Article/Book Chapter Request Form
The Blank ILL article/book chapter request form requires users to select a pickup location. Many libraries do not offer pickup options for articles, they are all delivered electronically. There should be an option to turn off the required pickup location for the Blank ILL article/book chapter request form.

LENDING BEING PROCESSED
We would like Digital Lending Requests to be automatically updated to Being Processed once the slip has been printed - in the same that way Physical Lending Requests are updated to Being Processed once a hold has been placed via Manage Fulfillment Options. At the moment they have status Created Lending Request - which means we have to change the status manually.

Resource Sharing Preferred Email Address
We have multiple libraries set up as Resource Sharing Libraries. However as we can only have one preferred email address the Borrowing Resource Sharing Requests are coming from the default email address for the library (usually the information email address), and not the dedicated email address for resource sharing at that library.
It would be really useful to have an email address type in a library record that is used to send Resource Sharing requests.3 votes -
All RS requests appear in Patron Services as Physical
Resource Sharing requests appear in "Patron Services" with one Request Type: "Patron physical item request". However, in "Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests" there are two types of Requested Format: Physical or Digital. Both types should appear correctly under Patron Services, and not only Physical.
