Use preferred email from Partner record for shipping digital Lending Requests
Often the Requester Email in a Lending Request is not the email that we can ship a digital item to (or sometimes the Requester Email is empty). Instead, the email address we use is from the preferred email address in the Partner record. We would like configuration to be made available so institutions could choose to use the preferred email address from the Partner record in Alma when shipping digitally instead of the Requester Email address that comes with the Lending Request.

Prevent hold requests for users not eligible for Resource Sharing from being converted into Resource Sharing requests
When you convert a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma does not check the resource sharing library's borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules to make sure the user is allowed to submit resource sharing requests. This makes it possible to create resource sharing requests for users who do not have resource sharing privileges. When converting a hold request into a resource sharing request, Alma should check the check the borrowing resource sharing fulfillment unit rules. If the user is not allowed to submit resource sharing requests, a warning message should appear.

Facilitate entry of data into the resource sharing form from an external source
Recent user experience testing for our resource sharing service indicated users would like a way to easily paste in data from other websites into the resource sharing form. For example, they would like to harvest the data easily from Google Scholar or another database and enter this into the form without manually copying and pasting each piece of data from one website into the webform. One way this could be accomplished is using a browser extension similar to Leganto's Cite It. Add DOI to email sent to resource sharing partner
Currently if a DOI is added to a request it isn't included in the email request sent to an email resource sharing partner. The DOI could help identify the correct article more quickly - seems strange that this is not included already

Ability to view ISO messages in Lending requests
We would like the ability to view the original XML/ISO messages sent between lender and requester in our Lending requests. There is information we need that doesn’t display in requests when they come into our system.
Examples include:
*Copyright declaration: we need this for copyright compliance reporting purposes
*Maximum cost: if this doesn’t display, we have to confirm that the requesting library accepts our charges if the cost is going to be over the standard charge
*Expiry date: the request status changes to Expired if this date is passed, and the request moves on in the rota

Enable a user to upload a snip or screenshot to the resource sharing request form
When placing a resource sharing request, our users sometimes wish to attach a screenshot or snip to give us additional information about their requested item. Could this ability be added to the resource sharing form please.

All RS requests appear in Patron Services as Physical
Resource Sharing requests appear in "Patron Services" with one Request Type: "Patron physical item request". However, in "Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests" there are two types of Requested Format: Physical or Digital. Both types should appear correctly under Patron Services, and not only Physical.

I would like Fulfillment Configuration Utility to also work for Resource Sharing. Or a separate service for RS.
It is invaluable in troubleshooting.

Ability to Bulk reassign RS requests
We would like the ability to bulk reassign requests in Alma RS, in terms of assigning a group of requests to one staff member to process rather than having to reassign individually.

when convert resource sharing request to purchase request - having default settings
Currently when a resource sharing request is changed to a purchase request our doc del team have to change the same settings everytime. It would be better if we could set defaults on this process, so this team doesn't have to keep changing the same settings.

Allow for multi field searching in Borrowing Requests or a Keyword search that allows you to search patron and request details
To find a resource sharing request more easily allow searches to be across multiple fields. e.g Robertson cancer nursing. Searching Robertson as the patron and cancer nursing as keywords in the title.

Add scheduled job which Recalculates Rota Assignment on Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests in Locate Failed Status
We are trying to configure a more automated workflow for Resource Sharing in our consortium. We recently reconfigured our Resource Sharing settings. Our Partners' Locate Profiles were all changed from not checking availability (so we had time to manually manage queues) to "Check for availability" so that items will pass instantly through the Rota if an item is not available at a partner. Then each of the Resource Sharing Libraries modified their Library Details from cancelling requests on locate failure to not cancelling requests on locate failure, which keeps the request Active after it passes through the Rota unfilled, and…

Make the email that is generated when an ILLiad resource sharing partner exports a request to a third party customizable
Unfortunately, ILLiad's email import feature does not always import emails generated by Alma properly. This happens mainly when there is a copyright symbol in the requested item's publication date. Giving us the ability to remove the publication date field from the email generated by Alma would help us manage this issue until OCLC and Atlas Systems can find a proper fix.

Reactivate exported borrowing resource sharing requests
Resource sharing borrowing requests which have been exported to third party broker systems should be able to be reactivated, in the same way as completed requests sent to P2P partners.
This is needed because we make mistakes! Sometimes a request is sent to a broker by accident.
We also need to be able to handle workflows which combine brokers and P2P partners. We want to be able to send a request to a broker system, and then if the request cannot be filled via that broker, to be able to return to the Alma request and assign alternative P2P partners.

Purchase request conversion into a resource sharing request
It would be good if it was possible to convert a purchase request into a resource sharing request on Alma. This might arise in circumstances where the user has originally requested a purchase request for a journal article on Primo. It would be useful if this purchase request could be converted into an ILL request simply without having to re-key in the information

Ability to flag a request for further investigation/Make notes visible from request summary
Currently there is no ability to flag a request for further investigation. This would be useful in both lending and borrowing.
In lending:
If an item is being returned and we need to change the call number, if we could flag the item a staff member could look at the notes and make the changes.If the item has previously been lost and has been returned. Add preferred address to Resource Sharing Shipping Slip Letter
I suggest that preferred shipping information be added to notificationdata/partnershippinginfolist/partnershippinginfo in the xml of this letter. Currently all registered partner addresses are added to the XML with no indication of which is the preferred address.
As a result the true shipping address cannot be deduced from the XML, which leads to a manual address lookup before shipping.

Email notification to ISO Partners about Overdue Items
We would like for the Borrowing Library to receive an email notification (in addition to the patron) when an item is Overdue.

Remove Request cost section in Borrowing Request section
Make the request cost section in the borrowing request section configurable so that it doesn't display. As our doc del team do not need it, as we don't charge customers or partners for doc del.
