Add ability to map more bibliographic fields to Analytics
There is currently the option to map 10 fields as Local Param 1-10. This was raised from 5-10 more than two years ago in January 2019. We used the last of these for required data at the start of 2021, but still did so reluctantly as there's been no sign of coming development to expand the number again. More fields are needed, so we'd appreciate this being considered.

Renewal Operator in Analytics
It would be useful to include Renewal Operator details in the Fulfillment Analysis area on Alma Analytics. This would allow us to identify and report on the number of renewals that took place at the circulation desk, via self service or via Primo.

Enable Data Flows in Oracle Data Visualization
As someone who creates data sets and data visualizations from Analytics for other library staff, it would be useful to have Data Flow enabled in Oracle's Data Analytics. This would save me time by creating a pre-determined set of steps to create and edit data sets, and to create joins between subject areas within the Data Visualization tool.

Please add Licensing Agent Code to the PO Line License section in the Funds Expenditure area in Alma Analytics.
This would help us report to our Finance Dept on all licensing parties associated with an order.

Subject headings's in Analytics
Analytics combines all the subject heading into one result for an individual bib record. This can be hard to read if a bib record has more them 4 subject headings. It would be more useful if each individual subject heading had its own result for an individual bib record.

Analytics - make History tab in User Records indexed & searchable
We have been informed by Ex Libris that when a User Record is updated, either with an API or via the Alma interface, then those fields updated will not be updated with the daily SIS feed. They are considered "manual" changes and are therefore, locked. Now, in the history tab of User Records, you can see the changes made and by whom, but we have been told this information is not available in Analytics and the only way to know who has these locked fields is as we come across them. There is no way currently to systematically pull these…

export sets into Analytics
I appreciate the ability to export Analytics results directly into an Alma set, but I would like to be able to export a set of records directly into Analytics without having to recreate my Alma search (if I can) in Analytics. This would also be very helpful for working on sets of records that other people at my institution have created!

Expose 'Export to Worldcat' management tag to Analytics
We would like to be able to access the 'Export to Worldcat' management tag in analytics, in the same way we can access the 'Suppress from Discovery' management tag. This would allow us to gather records for which the Export tag has been set incorrectly, and use a job to Republish them to OCLC.

Add HTML to Analytics dashboards
It would be cool if we could include active HTML in our dashboards.
For example, ibrarians who are reviewing new electronic acquistions could pull up a list of new acquisition and, in a one click, link directly through to the resources. (Currently, they would need to pull down the report, find the URL in the data, then copy and paste that back into the browser)
Additionally, outside images (via <img> tag) could be incorporated into reports for branded presentations.
By default in OBIEE, only Administrators have the right to use HTML in the data format of any column.
This can…

Add a "Last page" option on the Results tab
It would be helpful to include a "Last page" or "end page" arrow on the Results tab in Analytics. There is an arrow to take you to the beginning of the analysis but not to the end. Sometimes it is helpful to go to the end of an analysis to check the data and it is very time-consuming to click the "Next 500 rows" arrow several times on large analyses.

Restrict access to analytics objects via role AND scope
When a staff member provides access to an analytics object and adds a role via "add role" there is no option to add a scope to a role. For example when editing an analytics object such as a report and the staff member adds role "physical inventory operator extended" there is no way to see "only if physical inventory operator extended has scope law library". When a staff member is editing an analytics object such as a report and adds a role via "add from profile" Alma will look only at the roles in the profile and not the scope.…

Index Communications Tab in Analytics
We need to be able to run a report on the Communications tab in Alma to see if responses/replies were posted to specific communications on multiple POLs.

Flag for course reserve loan transactions
As a possible improvement for the Fulfillment subject area, please consider adding an indicator, much like the In House Loan indicator, to loans made while an item is on course reserve. This would allow us to easily include or exclude loans made for items on reserve in our circulation reports. Currently we exclude by location, but we suspect that this is not a reliable method, in part because the inactive temporary location is still attached to many items.
A course reserve flag on a loan would also allow us to easily pull circulation counts when reporting on course reserve.

Add free/not free information about collections
Currently through Analytics it's not possible to create a report on collections with the information: "Is free?" and "Is Free? (override)".
It is just possible to find "Service is free" and "Service is free (override)" fields, that exclude all collections that don't have any services, such as databases.
We propose to add fields "Is free?" and "Is Free? (override)".14 votes -
Add Course information into Bibliographic Details dimension
As it currently stands only 'Active Course Code' or 'Active Course Name' is available in the Bibliographic Details dimension. As our use of Leganto and Course Reserves grows we are increasingly needing to report on physical items on a course, active or not, this is currently difficult to do as the information is currently silo'd across subject areas that don't contain shared dimensions.

Enable a "Reprompt" option in Analytics
Currently, when running a prompted report, if you want to change your selections after running it, you must go back to the catalog and start over from "Run". It would be a great time savings if there were a "REPROMPT" option, which took you directly back to the prompt screen. Inclusion of a "retain choices this session" toggle and a "clear all choices" button on the prompt screen would be useful as well.
A use case would be when I am trying to determine why a particular item is hanging up on a task list or is being prevented from…

Analytics - Sub-collections parameter (Digital)
Please add some Sub-collection related parameters. In present analytics does not reflect the hierarchical structure at all so users should know the PIDs of end-collections. Maybe the path of the collection (from the top collection to itself) would be helpful too.

Need a way to look at collections (all formats) in ways other than LC Class
In many out-of-the-box analytics, the capacity to look at content by LC Class exists. However, LC Class doesn't capture the interdisciplinary nature of some areas of study. Additionally, not all e-resource vendors provide LC classes for eBooks.
Could it be that one way of achieving this is through assigning titles to collections? This would seem to work since titles of all formats can be assigned to collections in Alma. If Primo does not currently allow for subject-specific "profiles," this would also achieve that functionality since collections can be turned on as a facet.
The most basic problem to this approach…
