Analytics - Excel Export - Column Widths
Analytics has a few places to adjust column width, but none of them export to Excel. As a result, every Excel export includes a few columns that are extremely wide (as wide as my monitor) and extremely narrow (virtually hidden). The widths have nothing to do with column/cell content, so text wrapping doesn't fix the issue.
I've confirmed with Salesforce that there isn't a way to set widths for Excel export. Other font/colour/style settings export properly to Excel; it's amazing to me that column widths don't. I'd like to avoid formatting every Excel export before it's usable.

Analytics report for titles daily
I would like to have the possibility of knowing the updated amount of titles daily. Alma currently updates that information only every 28 days. This does not allow having statistics updated until the previous day.

Index Statistical category fields for use in reports
Our library uses customer Statistical Categories to track usage by external students. We need to be able to filter reports on statistical categories to certain time periods but the Creation Date field isn't currently indexed.
The Alma User Details > Statistics tab displays the following columns, see attached statistics screenshot 1: - Statistical Category - Category Type - Note - Created By - Creation Date - External Data You can also export an individual users statistics log with these fields. Add Full Call Number to E-Inventory Subject Area in Analytics for Portfolios
For e-inventory portfolios, a number of vendors provide an LC call number in the 050 of item’s bibliographic record.
However, currently, the most complete LC call number field available for the E-Inventory subject area in Analytics is the LC Classification Top Line field. This, however, only stores the combined LC code and classification numbers up-to the first period ; and does not include cutter numbers after the top line. Add timeout warning to Design Analytics module
Currently, there is no way to know when Design Analytics is about to time out or when it has already timed out. A timed-out screen is visually indistinguishable from a logged-in one.

Subject headings's in Analytics
Analytics combines all the subject heading into one result for an individual bib record. This can be hard to read if a bib record has more them 4 subject headings. It would be more useful if each individual subject heading had its own result for an individual bib record.

The physical items historical events subject area in Analytics should index the normalized call number data so that we can sort any data retrieved by shelving call number.

When building index tables, include data from all bib records (even if no holdings) and from all holdings records (even if no items).
Currently, most holdings fields are not included in the indexing for the physical items table if there is no item attached. I believe the same is true for some bibliographic fields if there is no item and/or no holding.
The resolution to the previous suggestion "Need a way to retrieve HOLDINGS where there are no ITEMS associated with the holding" addressed that one, very specific symptom of the larger problem.
Now that we can FIND the holdings without items attached, we'd like to also search for and report on other information about them.

Campus name (borrower details) in Alma analytics FF
in the subject domain "Fulfillment", at the level of the borrower details, there is a field for campus code but we would like to have the campus name in there as well.

Set analytics refresh date to a specific time
We need some of our analytics reports rather early in the morning. The analytics refresh time is sometimes so late that our coworkers have problems to finish their work before we open our library, at which point their work needs to be done. We would appreciate a fixed time for the daily analytics refresh.

Thank you for your request to end the daily analytics data refresh by a specific time. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate this request as we run an ETL at the same time for all the institutions in a specific data center. It is impossible to configure different run times per institution or even per instance. Additionally, we cannot predict the duration of the run-time in advance, which could take anywhere from a few hours to 10 hours.

Add Course information into Bibliographic Details dimension
As it currently stands only 'Active Course Code' or 'Active Course Name' is available in the Bibliographic Details dimension. As our use of Leganto and Course Reserves grows we are increasingly needing to report on physical items on a course, active or not, this is currently difficult to do as the information is currently silo'd across subject areas that don't contain shared dimensions.

Add item fields to the Fines and Fees subject area such as the Bibliographic Details table.
This would allow location, title, barcode, etc. information to show in an analytics report of manual credits. For instance, we want to know what manual credits were applied to items with a reserve location, etc.

Add Amount Paid in Current FP to Analytics, Funds Expenditure, PO Line
This value is very useful when monitoring continuous POL expenditures. Alma documentation states that since it is a calculated value at time of editing, it is not searchable.

Share ALMA session variable related to the desktop and / or Library to use it as a query value in analytics
I want to generate a single report for all libraries.
I need to assign the value of the ALMA system variable related to the library to the variable that is related to the library in Analitics so that the data related to that library is automatically selected.

Change priority of extracting 050 / 090 for ETL into Analytics LC Call number (Bib)
Currently, the ETL for a bib screen appears to overwrite the LC Classification Number (bibliographic record) with each 050 or 090 it reads. It is typical for the most 'authoritative' LC call number to be first on the record, while least authoritative (or even false) LC call numbers are last.
Consequently, when a bib record has more than one 050 or 090, Analytics is opting to report out the LEAST reliable call number for data.
Preferred would be that the ETL take only the first 050 in a record.

Add 'Replacement Cost' field to Physical Items table in Requests subject area
It would be helpful to have replacement costs field available in the physical items table from within the Requests subject area. Would allow for easier reporting on values of missing and lost stock etc.

Analytics updates for a full date (Change the time for updates)
Analytics doesnt have the updated information for our institution at the end of the day, we need to wait another day to get the info updated for that day, we want that every intitution can have their own update time for data.

Add "Reading List description" field to Course Reserves and Leganto Instructor Usage/Leganto Student Usage Subject Areas
It would make sense to add the Reading List Description field to Analytics as it is information which is available but missing from the Course Reserves Subject Area, and the Leganto Subject Areas which contain Reading list information. Without this information you cannot really reproduce a list from its constituent data.

Expose metadata dictionary to customers in Alma Analytics
Oracle OBIEE provides functionality to describe metadata associated with fields in the subject area tables:

This does not seem to be enabled in Analytics, but having it as a ready reference would greatly facilitate creation of reports.
