  1. Need a Search for Alma Analytics Reports in Alma menu

    It will be great to have a search for the Alma Analytics reports off the Alma menu.

  2. Add catalogation date field

    Actually we have only a Title modification date. This is used for catalogation date (after acquisition) and any other subsequent modifcation. If any modification we lose and miss the original catalogation date. We need a "Title catalogation date" field to preserve the original catalogation date after Receiving date.

  3. In Analytics Borrowing Requests subject area, add Shipped date. In Lending Requests subject area, add Received by Borrower date and Request

    In Analytics Borrowing Requests subject area, add Shipped date. In Lending Requests subject area, add Received by Borrower date and Request Completed date. The addition of these fields will allow us to more accurately calculate turnaround time, which in turn can help us improve our service standards.

  4. Renewal Operator in Analytics

    It would be useful to include Renewal Operator details in the Fulfillment Analysis area on Alma Analytics. This would allow us to identify and report on the number of renewals that took place at the circulation desk, via self service or via Primo.

  5. Display prompts in analytics widgets

    We have created a widget to display IDs of citations, and would like to be able to display the associated prompts to allow users to select their own criteria.

    The current behaviour is by design:

    but it would be very helpful if this could be changed.

  6. Add renewal count to the fulfillment subject area of Analytics

    Please add renewal count (the number of renewals allowed for a certain item policy and material type) to the Fulfillment subject area of Analytics.

    Doing so will allow staff to create a Circulation Matrix from analytics that fully details circulation privileges for certain patron groups, material types, item policies, etc. Circulation staff frequently get phone calls from patrons requesting such information.

    The attached Circulation Matrix is a handy way to answer circulation policy questions from patrons, except when they ask how many renewals they are allowed.

  8. Exporting from analytics

    When I run the current loans analytic, I have to scroll down through 500 records to reach the Export button. Please could it be at the top as well?

  9. export sets into Analytics

    I appreciate the ability to export Analytics results directly into an Alma set, but I would like to be able to export a set of records directly into Analytics without having to recreate my Alma search (if I can) in Analytics. This would also be very helpful for working on sets of records that other people at my institution have created!

  10. Add call number information to Borrowing Requests subject area

    This would allow us to do collection development based on the topics our users are interested in and in which our collections may be lacking. Reasons would include locate failed, unavailable at all holding libraries, and all the reasons that can be selected when a request is rejected.

  12. Modify the payment method label in Fines and Fees report

    Thanks for ExLibris helping our library to modify the payment method label: changing "Check" to "FEO". However, the payment method label in Fines and Fee report is not being modified accordingly. Is it possible to modify the labels in the reports as well? Or, could we add more payment methods in Fulfillment configuration?

  15. Analytics Usage SA- include size of results output

    We are using the Analytics Usage subject area to track performance for Alma Analytics. What would be useful, in addition to the fields provided, is some measure of the output size- either rows or data.

    We expect large queries to take longer than brief ones, but without the output size, we can't judge if slow performance is due to a complex query, or poor performance from the Analytics server.

  16. Report on items that have moved from one Permanent Physical Location to another

    We would find it useful to be able to pull fulfillment usage statistics for physical items that were originally in one location, but were moved to another location.

    Use Case #1:
    A report on all items moved from reference to the general collection might tell us if those reference books have circulated at all since being made available for extended checkout or if they are perhaps outdated and should be considered for weeding.

    A report on items that were once in our popular reading location that have since been moved to the general collection may better inform…

  17. Add Full Call Number to E-Inventory Subject Area in Analytics for Portfolios

    For e-inventory portfolios, a number of vendors provide an LC call number in the 050 of item’s bibliographic record.
    However, currently, the most complete LC call number field available for the E-Inventory subject area in Analytics is the LC Classification Top Line field. This, however, only stores the combined LC code and classification numbers up-to the first period ; and does not include cutter numbers after the top line. There are no other field in this subject area that was mapped to this latter part of the call number such that it might be possible to combine the two fields…

  18. Subject headings's in Analytics

    Analytics combines all the subject heading into one result for an individual bib record. This can be hard to read if a bib record has more them 4 subject headings. It would be more useful if each individual subject heading had its own result for an individual bib record.

  19. Add normalized call number to the subject areas for fulfillment analytics

    Right now the normalized call number option is available only when creating an analytics report under physical items. The ability for sorting by normalized call number would also be beneficial when creating analytics reports under the fulfillment section.

  20. Move Date Correction Job for next Day Analytics Reports

    The "Loans - Due Date Correction after Calendar Change Job" starts at exactly 9:00 pm. At the same time, the analytics snapshot is performed. As a result, anaytics based on that job are available two days later.
    If ExL can move this job just a few minutes earlier, the Data will be available next Day.
