Create exceptions for "Closed Library Due Date Management" Settings
We want to create exceptions for the "closed due date management" setting in our TOUs based on events in the calendar. For example, for single day exceptions such as for holiday closed dates like 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc., we want items due AFTER the exception, but for our month long winter break, we want everything due before the break begins so we can update our equipment and complete inventory over the break. Currently we have it set so the system moves the due time to the upcoming closing time, but we would prefer it to be after the closed day always except in some rare cases such as with our winter break. Right now, we are working around this issue by manually editing the due dates if someone wants the item out over a particular closed time. However, this is time consuming and holds patrons up at the desk since we don't allow automatic renewals on our equipment. Changing the policy multiple times a year is not feasible as there is more room for user error and we have a lot of equipment policies which would make it difficult to keep up with updating. A way to create exceptions for this policy would be ideal.
