Make display thumbail display option configurable based upon user or role
Recently turned on the thumbnail display in Alma. Half liked it, mainly fulfillment, half didn't acq and cataloguing. Maybe possible to make this setting customizable based upon user or Role?

This seems like a good customization option for the new UI coming in Q3 2017

I agree with Tonya...a lot of the time they know part of the title but they know what the book looks like. I vote for it to be on for circulation.

i think making it optional is great, since some don't like it. It must not be a feature that they find helpful for their job. So they don't have to turn it on. However, it is a REALLY helpful feature for those of us doing circulation. We have MANY patrons who come to the desk looking for a book and they know one word in the title like diseases or histology but they say oh, the book is blue. OK well we just got 300 hits with the one word. So knowing what the book looks like can help us provide better customer service. We can easily scroll down and look for a blue book with diseases in the title.
