  2. Access to the bibliographic access points of our own catalogue while editing a bibliographic record

    When we edit a bibliographic record it's very useful to access and add to the record the different access points of our catalogue in order to avoid typing all the string of data, even if there is no authority record. For example: there is no authority records for all de free floating subdivisions of LCSH that we add to main SH

  4. Add user notes to user_for_printing in letters XML

    We use a hold shelf for most books, but some need to be sent by mail, and this is indicated in user notes.

    Would be really useful if user notes could be included in the XML for letters like FulPlaceOnHoldShelfLetter and FulReasourceRequestSlipLetter. Then we could modify the output from these according to content found in the notes.

  5. Make it easier to configure Alma vendor order letter. XML and Style sheets require to much background to quickly set up.

    Provide a generic-simple Word letter for ordering that Acquisitions can customize by adding pertinent info to such as vendor name and address, title, price, terms, and the libraries contact info. The editing and testing of the current letter now is very cumbersome. Can you use a savable word document that allow you to copy and paste in a vendor's email and the basic info of the title to be purchases. Xml and style sheets are too time consuming and needs more software skills than many Acquisitions Department have access to. I just want to email an order to the vendor.…

  6. Allow for multiple holdings records and item records to be opened at one time.

    Sometimes, it's helpful to look at multiple holdings records at the same time to compare. It's also helpful to have the system open all of the item records for a holdings record at one time if you're gong to be doing minor changes to each one.

  7. Claim

    When I place a claim, I add a receiving note that itemizes which issue I have claimed. I remove this receiving note when I have received the claim. It would be great if there was a way for me to automate a note when I have claimed an issue, and if the note could be automatically deleted after the issue has been received.

  8. We would like to add a filter of barcode or call-number into the result page of a itemized set page.

    We would like to add a filter of barcode or call-number into the result page of a itemized set page, so they could locate and remove the dedicated item from the result quickly. The Filtering Sets function is not efficient to locate and remove single item from the result of a set, for more information, please see the attached screenshot. Thanks.

  10. Add Material Type column to Item List

    It would be great if we could see the item Material Type when we are in the Items List.

    Can we add an item Material Type column? If people don't want to see it they can eliminate from view.

    This is especially helpful when there are multiple item material types with the same call number, location, and no Description. If we had a Material Type column we could tell right away which item was which material type.

  11. we would like to set it to show the circulation desk of the library for the patron physical request item in Primo.

    The current patron physical request item pickup in Primo is set to Library level, we would like to set it to show the circulation desk of the requested item. So it will be more convenient to our patron.

  13. Add "available for" information to "Electronic" tab in search results (All Titles)

    Currently when searching "All Titles" for something, if there are results that are electronic this information shows up in the Electronic tab. However, from this view we have no way of knowing which library has access to what title in our shared environment because this information is set at the collection, service, or portfolio level through the group settings (aka "available for"). If this information was displayed from the search results screen, this would save us time.

  14. Prevent RS requests from having a queue of requesters

    We have noticed some Resource Sharing requests appearing in the Activate Next tab on the Expired Hold Shelf (Fulfillment). Activate Next activates the next request in the queue, which cancels the first request and makes the item available to the next requester. However, within our workflows Resource Sharing requests don't have a queue of requesters. If the request automatically goes to the another patron, the next patron will not have signed the copyright declaration.

  15. Rapid ILL

    Add License option for "Authorized Users" for Electronic Title sets. Currently, there is no way to completely automate the Rapid ILL integration because you cannot exclude collections that we are not able to lend out.

  16. Add indication of where I am browsing at Browse bib headings

    The user often does not know where s/he was browsing at Browse bib headings after moving away from the left pane. Could EXL add an indication e.g. by a different color to the current bib heading on the left pane to remind the user?

    Also it'd be helpful to show the call number on the right pane to save the time to click into the record to read the call number.

  18. Ability to Disable the Dispute Functionality for Fine/Fee

    Feature Requested:
    An option to turn off the ‘Dispute’ functionality for fines and fees.

    Use Case:
    With middleware connected to Alma and our university, anything that is done in Alma needs to be propagated to the rest of campus. Since there is not a need for the dispute functionality, we have not written any middleware on handling the dispute if it were to come in through the web hook. Currently, we are training staff to just not use the dispute functionality. It would be ideal to just turn off that option so that there is not a chance of discrepancy…

  19. The Internal Identifier number automatically assigned to Borrowing Requests once they are sent to partner is long and cumbersome

    The number is quite long and my team is having difficulty managing it when looking up requests or spotting it on the in-tray. We've noticed that the first two letters and the final seven are always the same, with the unique identifying numbers in the middle. I'm not sure what the numbers mean, if the stable numbers identify our institution or similar, but could a couple dashes be added?

    i.e. 33-1008366-0002761 instead of 3310083660002761

    Either that or can the Internal Identifier search could be made into a fuzzy/variant search so my team could just search for the seven unique middle…

  20. Activating Ebooks - moving the done button away from the delete button

    Could you move the DONE button to the top of the list when activating ebooks? Having the DONE and DELETE buttons next to each other means it is easy to click on the wrong button by mistake.
