Entend time-out of Alma.
I would like the option of changing the timeout for Alma, often I am away and Alma times out and I have to go back and get back to what I was doing. I can see timing out at the end of the day, but 1 hour is way too short. Thank you.

Automatically populate Material Type and Terms of use dropdowns in request forms
In the physical request form in Primo it is common for there to be a single value in the Material Type and Terms of Use dropdowns. It is common for users to click on these dropdowns to see what the options are only to find there is only a single value to choose from.

Include "External Name" in Bib API results when returning the location of an item
We're using the Bib API for several Alma integrations and have noticed that Bib API calls are returning just the "Location Name" for the location of items. We're of the opinion that the "External Name" should also be included in the Api results, as this is the location text that should be presented in public interfaces. Please include the "External Name" field in addition to the "Location Name" when returning the location in Api calls.

Work with more vendors who provide SUSHI to make them Alma-certified
Factiva and PLoS both provide SUSHI credentials, but they do not work with Alma, and are not currently an Alma-Certified SUSHI vendor. Please work with them so that we can draw our Factiva and PLoS usage via SUSHI.

Metadata clean up
It would be great to alter the material type of items whilst they item is still on loan, so that an item with a material type of "none" could become a book.

Enable customization of Receive New Material columns
We would like to have the ability to completely customize the data elements in the Receive New Material columns. Vendor name, for instance, which is not a current column option, would be helpful. Our library, like many others, combines Receiving and Copy cataloging functions, so Brief Level would be an extremely useful column to see at point of receipt, in order to enable easy identification of bibliographic record quality.

Ability to log in as user to a user's Library Card
It would be nice to be able to log in to a user's Library Card as that user for various reasons, mainly related to seeing what the patron can see (which letters they are selected to receive, which loans are present and which can be renewed by patron, etc.).
This has been an immensely helpful feature within ILLiad, and with the ability to integrate Alma and ILLiad and allow users "one" library account to manage rather than several, it would be very helpful in troubleshooting users' questions over the phone or via email.

Add additional error code to Renew loan API when an item has been renewed but the due date hasn't changed
The Users / Renew Loan API (https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/alma/apis/users/POST/gwPcGly021r0XQMGAttqcPPFoLNxBoEZNUiGwQUr+MuAI+35dTBcVUmYayAq/vUq/0aa8d36f-53d6-48ff-8996-485b90b103e4) currently only returns two errors - "Loan ID XXX does not exist." or "Cannot renew loan: Loan ID XXX." This API should return an additional status of "renewed, but due date didn't change" when that applies to the item in question. This would allow our locally developed catalog, which uses the Alma APIs for requesting items, to provide more complete information on why certain requests fail.

"Send to Ex Libris" option under portfolio Action button
If possible, add the "Send to Ex Libris" button under the Action button for a portfolio. The option only appears if I do an electronic portfolio repository search. If I go to the portfolios from the services tab, the option is gone. That is a lot of extra steps of making changes to a portfolio and then sending those changes to Ex Libris.

Different Sorting Option in Funds List Display
I would like to see the addition of the sorting mechanism based on status that is found in the vendors list added to the display of the Funds List Display that can default to "Active" funds. Since the default seems to be all the funds that have ever been appear, it would make more sense to mimic the "Active", "All", "Inactive" that is used for "Vendor Status" than ask users to click on additional facets for "Fund/Ledger Status".

Leave Library and Location blank using Browse Shelf Listing within the Metadata Editor
The August update allows Alma to limit Browse Shelf Listing to specific Libraries and Locations. This is fine when it is wanted; on the other hand, using Browse Shelf Listing directly from a holdings record (i.e. Alt+C in the Metadata Editor) defaults to limiting the search to the library and location in the holdings record (i.e. the 852 subfields $b and $c). I prefer the Library and Location fields remain blank (as they do when opening Browse Shelf Listing from the Resources tab) unless the user chooses to set limits.

1-Click Button to View Shelf List in Primo FROM ALMA
Since the shelf list in the metadata editor is very difficult to use and see in the tiny quarter screen of space allotted to it, it would be helpful if there was simply a button one could press to view the call number shelf list in Primo (the primo 'Browse by LC call number" page) while one was cataloging in Alma.
Ideally, the record searched for would not display as the very first result, but instead a few lines down from the top, so that it would be very easy to compare the call number to both the records before…

Increase viewable character count when looking at tables of invoice or PO lines
Alma unnecessarily truncates fields and wastes monitor space in the Purchase Order Line Details > Invoice Tab. See in my attachment that both the invoice number field and the Note (piece identifier) field are cut off. At the very least, the entire invoice number should be visible. I understand not all monitors are the same width, but we should be able to see more of this important information. Please fix this.

Allow rft.source as input for GES availability rules
Right now, when constructing the service availability rules for a GES, the dropdown menu for the input parameters includes rft.SOURCE and rfe.SOURCE. However, when I attempted to use this, it didn't behave as expected. I did further testing and found this is not currently functional: I set rules to show a link when the rft.SOURCE is empty, and it always showed up. The same happened with rfe.SOURCE.
This would be helpful, as it would allow us to configure links to only show up for PCI records, or only for Alma records. Especially in environments where you'd like to route users…

Add Institution specific holdings feeds to Alma KB from more providers
Currently, the Alma knowledge base offers automated institution-specific holdings feeds from Elsevier and Ovid. These greatly reduce the amount of work required by libraries to maintain holdings.
It would be great if you could add feeds for JSTOR ebooks and EBSCO ebooks. These are currently being offered by other knowledge base providers.

Make the user identifier configurable in the Staff Login Report
This report is of limited utility since despite displaying "User Name" it is actually showing the Primary ID. Make the user display info. configurable (along with "Updated by" as noted elsewhere).

Sort Option by Invoice Owner
We have at least four Owners of invoices at our university and need to sort by Owner when invoices are in Review Unassigned, Waiting for Approval or Waiting for Payment, but that is not an option. All other invoice fields are able to be sorted EXCEPT the Owner Field. Can the Invoice Owner field be enabled for sorting?

Provide Configuration Options for Lost Item Replacement Fee TOU Precedence in Alma
Some items have price information in the record, and some do not. Rather than delete all price info or try to add it to each record, our library would like the option to force the system to defer to the Lost Item Replacement Fee (LIRF) stored in the Fulfillment TOUs over the item price in the record (if one exists).
