Ability to delete all parser override values using change portfolio job
Currently, it's not possible to remove parser override values using the change portfolio job. This would be helpful when clearing those values from a collection of portfolios after the CZ portfolios have been updated by Ex Libris.

The use of "%26" in Static URL is not permitted
I encountered some rare cases where the permalink of an article contains "%26" as part of the URL. When I keyed this into the Static URL field and hit Enter, this "%26" is immediately converted into the "&" symbol. Even if I tried to double code it (%2526), it doesn't help.
An example of this link is https://i-law.com/ilaw/browse_lawreports.htm?name=LLR%3a+Insurance+%26+Reinsurance+Plus
It will be converted to https://i-law.com/ilaw/browse_lawreports.htm?name=LLR%3a+Insurance+&+Reinsurance+Plus and the link is broken.

If e-collection from CZ is already active in NZ, ask for validation
It is possible to activate electronic collections from the CZ more than once in your NZ. We are aware there are use cases where this is the desired behaviour.
Yet it would be nice if there was a short dialogue: "The collection is already active in your NZ. Are you sure you want to activate it again?" - just to avoid duplicate activation by mistake.

Enable 776 as a match point for Link Local Portfolios to Community function
Currently this only works for ISBN/ISSN matches in the 020/022 fields. Many CZ records do not have these fields but do have 776 fields with ISBNs. Enabling this as a match point would greatly improve automatic linking of entire sets.

Electronic Material Types - Need for more options.
Unlike the Physical Item Material Types, Electronic Material Types are limited because they are hardcoded. However, the list that is provided by Ex Libris does not give us enough granularity. For instance, at our institution, we have senior theses that are deposited into our institutional repository. However, when you create the portfolio and select the Electronic Material Type there is no option for either “Bachelor’s Thesis” or a generic “Thesis”. Instead, they only provide “Dissertation” or “Master Thesis” there is no option for a Bachelor’s of Senior project. Therefore, we are forced to select Book which is inaccurate.

Improve visibility of Publishing Information for electronic holdings
The Publishing Information for electronic holdings is extremely valuable for troubleshooting issues with the assignment of availability status for PCI / CDI records, and with the Link Resolver matching of the OpenURL data with Alma records and presentation of services.
With the Central Discovery Index (CDI) coming, and the associated transition of the management of discovery records out of the separate PCI interface and into Alma, many sites may take the opportunity to update and realign team responsibilities, with more staff in Alma having a need to see this information.
Visibility of this core metadata at a minimum helps staff…

Evaluation Workflow - Close trial, keep data
The existing Alma Evaluation Workflow does not allow us to CANCEL a POL for an unwanted item, it only allows us to DELETE the POL (and therefore lose the trial/evaluation data).
The Evaluation Workflow documentation (see step 7 in the link below) suggests that cancelling is an option distinct from deleting, but there is no cancel option in Alma.
https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/020Acquisitions/060Evaluations_and_Trials/010Evaluation_WorkflowIt would be helpful to have an option that would close/cancel the evaluation process for items that are not acquired/purchased. This would allow for better record-keeping around trial results and better internal tracking of the rationale for not acquiring the…

Allow customers the option to set date parameters for displaying public notes and authentication notes
We often use public notes and authentication notes to let users know if a particular service is temporarily unavailable or scheduled to undergo maintenance. Direct linking is disabled whenever these notes are present. We then have to remember to go back into Alma and remove these notes when the service becomes available again. It would be much easier if we could schedule these notes to display only during a specified time period (i.e., during the service maintenance window). Ideally, this would also mean that direct linking is only disabled during the period in which the note is "active."

Add "available for" information to "Electronic" tab in search results (All Titles)
Currently when searching "All Titles" for something, if there are results that are electronic this information shows up in the Electronic tab. However, from this view we have no way of knowing which library has access to what title in our shared environment because this information is set at the collection, service, or portfolio level through the group settings (aka "available for"). If this information was displayed from the search results screen, this would save us time.

Improve the management of license terms in config
Currently to manage the order and organization of license terms in Alma, we have to number each term we wish to use in order. If we want to add or reorder, we need to carefully renumber the existing terms so we don't accidentally use the same number twice and risk overwriting existing terms. While we've all learned work-arounds for this, given the amount of work it takes to maintain our hundreds of licenses, it seems risky to have this form of ordering. It would be much better to have the functionality that appears elsewhere in Alma that allows for lines…

Better distinguish between local portfolios and CZ portfolios in the portfolios list
When you are working in the portfolios list from the electronic service editor in an activated electronic collection and choose to add portfolios from the Community Zone, the list displays the local house icon for active portfolios and no icon for the inactive ones. However, from the electronic service editor portfolios list, active portfolios display with the CZ (double person) icon. Any local portfolios that you have added beyond the CZ collection display with the local house icon. I understand how it makes sense in different contexts, but it may be useful to have an icon that distinguishes between the…

Improve Alma's Licence „Controlled Vocabulary“ functionality
Background (as it works now):
Under „Manage License Terms“ a field can be defined as „Controlled Vocabulary“ and the defined CV values can be selected within a License. However, these CV values are only some kind of text module / boilerplate text which are copied into a specific license field. This means: when a CV value is changed or deleted, the content of this specific field in all licenses did not change. The change must be made in each license itself. A deleted CV value is displayed in the license field as: „<CV value> (not listed)“. The CV values functionality…

Add electronic collection details to the Alma publishing
Currently both physical and digital collections are published to Primo. Because of this these data elements can be added to the display sections of the Primo UI including the collections facets (courtesy of the Primo back office rules).
Similarly the collection name is published to Primo Central and therefore can be included in the collections facet and full display Details section.
Note: The publishing should also include details showing whether the resource is a Community Zone resource or not. (It may be desirable to only include non-Community Zone collections in the Primo displays as the PCI collections is already displayed).

"Indicators to skip" should apply to single portfolio records
When importing electronic portfolios through repository import there is an option to specify a MARC-field containing the URL to the resource. When configured, Alma extracts the URL from the first occurrence of that field, which might or might not be the desired full text URL.
Next to this option is another option, "Indicators to skip", that looks like it could be used to specify further which occurrences of the field to ignore and which to use for the URL extraction, but this option is only taken in consideration for "multiple portfolios" imports.
As the probably most likely source for an…

Filter Community Zone Updates Task List by library associated with the Electronic Collection
We would like the Community Zone Updates Task List to include another column for the library associated with the Electronic Collection so that this field could be filtered on (and staff in individual libraries can look at only their tasks instead of the entire institution's).

Add edition & more metadata elements for matching purposes
When metadata is coming into Primo through an OpenURL, mismatches occur "due to ambiguity on title matching after no match was found based on identifier (ISBN). Title matching is not as reliable as ISBN matching, and can lead to different editions being returned" (ExLibris Tier 1 Analysis).
This proposal is to add edition information and other metadata elements from the bib in Alma for matching purposes

Provide option to automatically select a record when using the bulk portfolio uploader in cases of multiple matches
The bulk portfolio uploader won't add a portfolio/record if there are multiple matches to an identifier in the CZ. For example, if the uploader file has a journal ISSN that matches two records in the CZ--the job will result in a no action error showing the record numbers of the candidates. We would like to have the option of instructing the system on how to handle the overall file: to make an arbitrary record selection for us when applicable or keep with the default option of reviewing multiple matches manually. Thanks for your consideration.
