Add indications to Electronic Service & Portfolios showing when portfolios use MARC metadata instead of parser parameters for linking
There are some electronic services and portfolios in the Alma CZ that do not use parser parameters. Instead, they use ISSN or some other element drawn from the MARC metadata to construct their links. However, there is no indication in Alma when a service or portfolio behaves this way. To the Alma user, it looks as if the portfolios must be misconfigured, as they have no parser parameters and no apparent way to link at the title level. This makes troubleshooting linking problems very difficult, and it conceals the actual linking functionality from Alma customers.

Alma - add a coverage field at electronic collection service level
Right now the coverage of a portfolio is managed at portfolio level only. It would be very useful to have a chance to set up values for coverage also at service level, so that they are inherited by all the portfolios using that collection service.
That would be useful when a) the portfolios share the same starting date in the license or b) when - as it happens now to us - for for a huge amount of portfolios we are still waiting from the publisher more detailed coverage information, but we know know for that we have at least…

Ability to customize the order of display for portfolio links in a record
When there are multiple portfolios for one title, such as a journal or newspaper, Alma allows them to be sorted by Rank, Title Asc, or Title Desc. But there are occasions when it would be optimal to custom sort the display. For example, for the title Barron's, we have three ProQuest Central portfolios displaying to the public, each with a different date range. It would be nice to be able to have them display in chronological order. Currently they display in this order: 1942-1987, 1921-1942, 1988-present. In this instance, the sort options do not help since they are all ProQuest…

Reflect Community Zone changes in affected portfolios' history tabs
Alma portfolios in the IZ show a modification date in their history when a change is made based on CZ data. However, the changes themselves are not documented in the portfolio's history tab -- just the fact that a change occurred on that date.
Some changes are displayed to users in the CZ updates task list, so it's clear that Ex Libris has a way to communicate this at the Institution level. But as Update Task List entries can be dismissed en masse, it's important to reflect CZ changes like linking and coverage dates in a more persistent manner, through…

Add bib metadata to custom view for portfolios
Right now, there's no way to see edition (subfield 250) or publication/copyright date (subfield 260/264) from a list of portfolios.
These fields should be added to the customize view options for portfolio lists.

Electronic Coverage Dates should be in a date format and be available in Analytics as such
Currently, electronic coverage dates are considered as strings and not as Dates. We request to treat them like dates and add them to Analytics, in order to base reports on these dates.

Create run now button for Upload Electronic Holdings integration profiles
Currently, if the integration for an upload electronic holdings profile fails, you have to edit the profile, click save and run, and then monitor the job.
Users should be able to right click or use the ellipsis button and choose Run Now from the Integration Profile List for any Upload Electronic Holdings integration profiles.

Allow us to suppress the License from display when it is not ready with status of "Draft" or review status "In review"
For those waiting for review licenses, we will have status "Draft" and review status "In Review". These licenses are waiting to be checked and the fields are not verified for correctness. But now once the licenses are created with inventory added, all licenses are displayed out for the user, even with status “Draft” and “In Review”.
It will be great if only the licenses with “active” and “accepted” status can be displayed, but not the “Draft” and “In review” license that they are waiting to be verified.

Prevent deletion of portfolios with access type perpetual or current plus perpetual
When deleting portfolios individually or through a batch process, add a feature to flag/warn about portfolios with perpetual or current plus perpetual for the access type before they are deleted. It could be similar to the message and process you run into upon trying to delete a portfolio with an active po line or a physical holding with an active po line. My library's portfolios attached to larger collections often do not have PO lines (as much of this work was done in our former library system prior to Alma migration). Adding a perpetual access type to portfolios is relatively…

Upload Electronic Holdings (Autoload holding list) – the reports do not listed out the deleted titles
We use the autoload feature to update electronic holdings for specific vendors such as ScienceDirect and Ovid.
After autoload, we find that the job will list out the no. of portfolios “added”, “updated”, and “deleted” but without the deleted titles listed out at the job report. Whenever a portfolio is deleted, we need to check if the deleted titles are removed correctly? Do we have perpetual access right for the deleted titles and do we need to claim for the access right with the new publisher.
We use the load portfolios tool in the Electronic service to add/update/delete portfolios for…

E-resources - Add Inventory number with automatic counter
To a physical item, is it possible to add an inventory number both manually or - if configured the sequence - with the function "Allocate" to enter the next number.
For the ebook acquired in way "pick and choose", it is necessary the same function, with sequence number, price and date of inventory.27 votes -
Add a Create Electronic Portfolio Job
Post migration we had a lot of electronic resources that migrated to Alma as standalone bibs with no inventory or portfolios attached. Best practice in Alma for e-resources management would be to have portfolios attached to all of these records and to have as many of them sorted into local electronic collections as possible, so that global changes can be made from Admin by running a job.
The process of manually adding local portfolios to each of these records is cumbersome. This idea would be to have a Create Electronic Portfolios Job that could be run from Admin on a…

Display e-ISBN (MARC 020 $a) in e-portfolio repository search results
Currently the ISBN displayed in e-portfolio repository search results is the print ISBN stored in MARC field 776 $z. Please change to display the e-ISBN stored in MARC field 020 $a, or display both the print ISBN (776 $z) and e-ISBN (020 $a).
The e-portfolio repository search finds the e-books. In a bib record for an e-book, the e-ISBN is stored in 020 $a, while the print version's ISBN is stored in 776 $z. It just does not make sense to display only the print ISBN, but does not display the e-ISBN in the e-portfolio results.
The example records are…

Add Day or Week embargo option
When setting Coverage Information, current embargo options are to enter a number of months or years. Some publishers have a 2 week, or 14 day embargo; we cannot enter embargo information for these. Adding a Day and/or Week option would allow this information to be added.

Add another SpringerLink Integration Profile
There is one Springer Integration Profile so far, and that profile is for the entire Springer title list. We have "SpringerLINK Contemporary - Community Plus." It is over 2200 titles. I'd like to see an Integration Profile for the collection we use.

Include parser override values in it's own column in extended export report
Include parser override values in it's own column in extended export report
It's not possible to view which portfolios in a collection have parser override values. Currently, the value is included in the parser parameters value in extended export reports.
It would be helpful with managing portfolios to have a way to see when a portfolio has a parser override value. That way, we could check on those portfolios and make sure the CZ parser value has been corrected.
Please, include parser override values in it's own column in extended export report or have another way of highlighting when an…
