  1. Allow bulk updating of citation sources

    It would be very helpful to be able to run a job to delete, add or update a set of citation sources in bulk.

  2. Improve Primo view override function in Alma

    The override function in the Configure Views section in Alma does not what one would expect, at least not for me.

    It would be a lot better that you can override your default view with the settings of a newer view, but without irreversibly altering either and allowing to switch back, or use another view altogether.

    And it should not only use the new settings, but also use it's customization package.

    This way it's easy to update your default view with new settings and style while continuing to use the same view code.

  3. Interested In Letter - Remove from preferred email

    Could we please have this letter removed from the list of letters affected by:

    "For some letters, such as several resource sharing letters, the From: address contains the library's email preferred address, if this address is configured. If the address is not configured, the letters use ILL@exlibrisgroup.com as the From address. The list of letters with this behavior is:"

    It doesn't make sense that a letter triggered by an acquisitions workflow is lumped in with a bunch of (largely) resource sharing letters.

  8. Add Locked Process status to completed jobs

    Currently EDI jobs complete and then tables lock for updating to complete through out Alma. This leaves other similar jobs stuck in the queue as Pending for several minutes.
    Under this change instead of a completed job that locks tables being moved directly to history it would get an additional status in the Running jobs area. This status would let users know that the job had completed, but that Pending jobs would not be starting.

  9. Bulk update letter labels

    The system should have an ability to bulk update all letter labels in a single place. It is especially important after a premium sandbox refresh that you would want to update Email subject or From address to show that email is coming from Sandbox but not from Production. The current system has ability to export labels per letters but it is too tidious to export labels for over a hundred letters. It can also be used to keep track of changes by exporting labels.

    When looking at the list of sets on the Manage sets page, it is sometimes necessary to click into the Set Details to view the description or notes to make sure that it is the correct set that I want to work with. To then view the members, it takes three more clicks: 1) go back to the manage sets screen 2) right click or click the ellipsis button 3) click the members or results option on the dropdown menu.   13. Tasks Widget: Show 'Assigned to me' consistently in ALL Task Lists

    In the Tasks on the homepage, 'Purchase Requests' ALWAYS show any tasks 'assigned to me' when I expand the curtain.

    'Reading Lists' NEVER shows any tasks 'assigned to me' when I expand the curtain. There are often Reading Lists assigned to me, so it would be helpful to just be able to see that like with Purchase Requests, rather than having to look in on all reading lists every day.

    Same with Borrowing Requests, and Lending Requests. 'Assigned to me' does not show, whereas Electronic Resources assigned to me do appear.

  14. allow testing of Alma letters by specifying parameters rather than having to create the correct situation to trigger the letter

    Currently you need to create the 'real' situation in Alma in order to trigger a letter to send. E.g. in the case of making changes to the overdue and lost loan notification letter like sending a message every 2nd day, testing this in the sandbox means you need to setup a test scenario, then make sure you run the correct job every day to see what Alma will be doing.   15. Toggle the copying of Configuration to Premium Sandbox

    A recurring theme in NERS voting is the ability to maintain Premium Sandbox Configuration changes on refresh.
    I suggest that instead of allowing for export and import of tables an extra toggle be added to the Premium Sandbox Configuration area. When this toggle is selected NONE of the configuration tables from the Production version are copied at refresh. This would allow sites who wish to maintain their sandbox changes to do so while sites that would prefer the overlay have the option. It would also be somewhat easier to code since it is an if/else in the current refresh workflow…

  16. Rename the label for the 'Records processed' column to 'Records to be processed'

    This is a very minor thing, but the label for the new 'Records processed' column in job monitoring should be renamed to a more fitting 'Records being processed' or 'Records to be processed'.
    As long as the job shows up in the 'Running' tab the records have not been (fully) processed but the current label implies this, esp. in combination with the 'Progress' column.

    The German label has the same problem: "Verarbeitete Datensätze" --> should be "Zu verarbeitende Datensätze".

  17. Allow the Improve the display of "Item availability" for serials/journals

    When there are a lot of content in "Item availability", which is the case for some journals/serials, the display is hard to read. It would be useful to allow for css customization like in Primo.
    There should also be a line break for each 866 field.

  18. Allow filtering and sorting on all columns in "In process items"

    In the "In process items", some columns can be filtered (Process status, request filter, library) and some can be sorted but not all. It would be useful to be able to filter by "Modified by", "Modification date" and to sort by "Modification Date".

  19. 'Chat agent is available' should only appear when agents are actually available

    Maybe this is a rare edge case, it just happened the first and so far only time we wanted to use the chat which is pretty off-putting. We saw the line saying the agent was available, opened a chat, it looked for an agent for a while, then said no actually no-one's here, try again later. When I went back to the start it still said an agent was available (but when trying again, no they still weren't). So how are we meant to know when we can actually chat with someone or not?

  20. Transit Time Rules for Work Order Departments

    We have work order departments in a central location providing services to multiple libraries across our state. When the department has completed their task and is ready to send the item to the distant library, Alma sets the delivery date to 24 hours when the transit time between libraries could take 72 hours. This confuses patrons who believe the item is available when it is in transit.
