keyboard shortcuts for "done" and "exit" especially
Alma is extremely rough on the carpal tunnel because of having to make so many clicks. There should be keyboard shortcuts for everything possible, but especially for "Done" and "Exit," and for all the routine tasks of Fulfillment.

Allow options for how items act when checked out during an "exception-closed" in the Alma Calendar
Allow option for how items act when check out occurs during closed hours (not focusing on due back time). During weeks like spring break, we set an exception that we are closed so our week long/3 week long book check outs will not come due that week to account for students possibly leaving campus. This means when we try to check out hourly items during spring break, they are due back immediately since they were checked out during a closed period. We cannot adjust the due time for hourly items checking out during that week properly without deleting the exceptions…

Default tab for Alma search
Alma search defaults to the community tab. Could it be changed to fit your needs or default to Institution tab?

Column size
Make it so that column width is dictated by content in the columns, with text wrapping where needed. though maybe with a character restriction on the title field.
I'm consistently losing columns i need because they shrink in size when i try to expand nearby columns.
*since i can tell alma which columns are helpful, it would make sense that all the columns that are helpful will be visible.

Easier Toggling Between Modules
Add the ability the quickly toggle between commonly used modules, like check-in and manage patron services. OCLC's WMS does this very well and allows a much faster workflow.

Improve Navigation to Allow Switching Between Tasks
There should be a way to quickly move between tasks in Alma without having to start from scratch. If I'm in a user record and go search for an item barcode, I should be able to get back to the user record in a single click, without having to search again. WMS provides this functionality and it's really helpful. Essentially breadcrumbs that track ones work in the system so you can quickly pull up something you were working on even hours before.

Facetting, RESEARCH
Facetting: to display the current publishing year at the top and not at the end of the list. The librarian should descide if he wants the Facetting of the YEAR shown from.

Change "Orders" link to improve user accessibility
The "Orders" link that appears in the title information after a repository search needs to be improved to address accessibility concerns. Currently, the only "clickable" part of the link is the small number beside the shopping cart and 'Orders' icon. Please consider making this link bigger or the entire shopping cart - orders - and number be "clickable". This would make it accessible for people who have fine motor challenges, as it is difficult to get the mouse to a very small piece of clickable text.

Option to customise Alma labels from US to UK (or AU) English
We are new to Alma and have identified that we would like to be able to customise language in Alma to be AU English, instead of US English, the way we can with Summon (and Primo).
Our current ILMS which we are migrating from allows us to change the display wording for options, and it is a very 1990s sort of ILMS. I would like to see this functionality added to Alma too.

Add Access Type to Customize View
I love the option to customize my view and choose what info is displayed under portfolios and collections in my search results. It would be very useful to be able to display the Access Type: Current, Perpetual, or Current and Perpetual. Right now we need to open the record and navigate to the field.
Please add Access Type as a field we can choose to see.

Configuring the Alma Services Page
I would like to move the "View Online" section above the "Send To" section on the journal search results page (Alma Services Page). While I can reorder the other sections on that page, I am not able to move the "Send To" section.

Alma / Primo VE: Configuration - Including the category headings in search results
The configuration's search function in Alma and Primo VE allows us to find specific components. However the category headings are not included in the search results. For example, if I search for Letters, I only get Letters Configuration but not Components Configuration (which is under the Letters heading)
Adding the category headings and all their entries to the search index & results might help improve findability of certain configuration screens.

Accessibilty issues
I suggest ( and personally need) the possibility to adapt the layout to people with visual challenges. I have a limitation of the visus from both eyes to the left side (emianopsia) and I would work better if I could move the toolbar to the right and adapt the screen size (mantaining its proportions).

Add an option for Quick Printing to be enabled by default
Allow for users to have quick print enabled by default for their account. Currently switching to a new computer, resets the option back to unenabled.

Make the Library facet customizable, so that certain libraries can be hidden from search results.
We are in a consortium with a shared instance of Alma, but we do not lend materials among our institutions. Currently, the LIBRARY facet in Alma/Primo VE will display holdings from all institutions if applicable for a given search. It would be helpful to be able to select only certain libraries to display for a given Primo VE view.

Print results of query
The print function for printing a query would be extremely helpful. I can print using the browser, but the columns are squished, so I would use 3 times the amount of paper as I would by using print from the screen, if that function is set up. It's much easier for long lists, so that we don't need to write down numbers, titles, or vendors as we check off the work we need to do - especially for the time period when Alma is new and we're working tasks to get things set up correctly.

Improve UI of tables with many columns
Working with citations I opened the "Available in other lists" table and got a view where the table headers are so tall that I could only see one line of actual content at a time. (See attached screenshot.) I eventually "solved" the issue by removing columns but that doesn't help if you actually need the columns. Someone on support who tried to help me "solved" it by having better eyes than me ;-) so being able to use a smaller font on their screen.
