Add 385,386,655 to Alma export list
Please add columns to Alma Export to List (Excel) from these fields: Creator/ contributor term (386/a), Audience (385/a), and Genre/form (655/a,2). These fields are important to include to the list.

Add the 019 field as a match profile in import profiles
In managing import profiles, adding an option under Match Profile to match records on the 019 field would be very helpful. Some libraries use the 019 as the OCLC number and some use it for LibrariesAustralia numbers.
Matching on the 035 and 020/022 doesn't cover all situations for importing records.

Create a Set of Inventory from a Title Set
It would be very useful to be able to take a set of titles, and convert it into a set of inventory attached to those titles. Specifically, I would like to create a Portfolio set from a set of Electronic Titles. I have regular need to move groups of portfolios from one local e-collection to another. I have only a list of ISBNs to start with, which I use to create an itemized Electronic Titles set. However, moving portfolios requires a Portfolio set, which can only be created with Portfolio IDs. It is very cumbersome to arrive at the appropriate…

CDI labels in Alma to be more clear and user friendly
User Story - Our staff are confused when using CDI and would like clearer label, so they understand where to enabled something or not.
We would prefer the labels to be changed to more ‘symptom based diagnosis’ wording. So it would be clear for CDI operators. We have left 'CDI-only full text activation' blank, because he is still not sure what this option is for. In our example we have only given suggested wording. We are happy for this to be different, as long as the labels are more clear and user friendly about what the functions do.1 vote -
function "back"
Metadata Editor: We miss the simple function of being able to undo the last steps when cataloging or editing records. In Aleph there was the function
CTRL + Z. This would be extremely helpful. The ability to restore an earlier version is not suitable for this.0 votes -
Multiple Quick-Cataloging Templates
Scenario:
There are multiple workflows and purposes for which the Quick Cataloging interface is used. For example, in course reserves, staff frequently need to create records for different resource formats beyond book and article. Staff at the circulation desks need to create records any time an item brought to the desk is not found in Alma, and these resources can take any form - from sound recordings on CD to equipment like laptop chargers.Problem:
Not all of these materials fit the current “book” and “article” templates provided for Quick Cataloging. To enable efficient use of the Quick Cataloging feature,…163 votes -

Spain University Colective Catalogue REBIUN, requieres files in that format, so publishing takes a long time.1 vote -
rerun Overlap and Collection Analysis
There are certain reports that I would like to run in Overlap and Collection Analysis periodically. It would be helpful if I could rerun a past report instead of having to enter all the criteria every time.

Automatically deactivate any scheduling of repository import profiles when import method changed to Upload Files/s
When the import method of a repository import profile is changed to Upload File/s, any scheduling previously set for another import method should be automatically switched off.
Currently the scheduling status for FTP/OAI has to be manually changed to inactive, in addition to changing the import method.
This could easily be forgotten by staff making changes to import profiles and results in the scheduled metadata import jobs continuing to run and subsequently failing.
The process would be streamlined and more efficient if scheduling could be automatically removed when an import profile is changed to an import method which does not…

Add 017 field (subfields a, b) in the search index.
Currently this field (Copyright or Legal Deposit Number) is not indexed in MARC 21 Bibliographic Tag to Search Index Mapping. Would you please add it so that it?

Preferred Term Correction job needs option to turn off the reordering of subfield URIs $$0
We have implemented URIs into our bib records, but found that the Preferred Term Correction job is reordering the subfield $$0, where URIs are automatically clumped together at the end of the subject string and are no longer associated with the term. Even though the current best practice is for only one URI to be associated with the subject string and for it to be last in order, most subject headings with multiple subfields do not yet have a single identifier (URI) assigned to the entire subject string. There should be an option for the reordering to be turned off…

Easier Removal from Large Itemized Sets
It would be helpful to be able to search within itemized sets and then remove undesired items in those search results. Right now the only way to find an item to remove from an itemized set is to browse through the set which can be unwieldy for large sets.
This search functionality (by title, ISSN and ISBN) already exists in other areas of Alma such as displaying a portfolio list for an electronic collection.

Option to export Alma search results and sets as CSV
Right now Alma search results and sets can only be exported in XLSX-format. For performance (and other) reasons it would be good to have the option to export in CSV format.
(Publishing this as an enhancement request was suggested by Ex Libris in public Salesforce case #00825531)

Making it possible to use both arrow sign (←, →) as characters and Alma's directional character function.
When we configure [Alma configration > Resources > General > Other settings > enabledirectionalcharacters > true], "←" and "→" can't be entered in the MDE.
Also, if opening migrated records which include "→", all the "→" are deleted like the example below.
Example)
Before
500 $$a 出版者変更: 日本ドクメンテーション協会 (-v. 36, no. 7 (1986.7))→情報科学技術協会 (v. 36, no. 8 (1986.8)-)
After
500 $$a 出版者変更: 日本ドクメンテーション協会 (-v. 36, no. 7 (1986.7))情報科学技術協会 (v. 36, no. 8 (1986.8)-)It takes time if we modify these records and also we can't follow cataloging standard ("→" sometimes includes in a title etc. of a material).…

Authority linking issue with bibliographic field 240
We'd request that when Alma links up bib field 240 with a uniform title entered in authority record, it should take into account of bibliographic contents in field 240 PLUS field 100 ALTOGETHER, and link these combined contents with uniform titles entered in authority records.
Currently, it links up the uniform title in field 240 only with authority record. So, those generic uniform titles e.g. Works, Poetry, etc. will be ambiguous, and do not have proper linking with their authority records established with author's name.
Details, please refer to Salesforce case # 823121

Make approved Purchase requests searchable in Primo
By default, Purchase Requests are suppressed from search and discovery in Primo, whatever their status (In review, Approved, Rejected).
We would like the library to have the possibility to automatically unsuppress Purchase Requests and to make them searchable once they have been Approved.21 votes -
The ability to choose a set as a "favorite"
We have 7 pages of sets, but there are two I frequently need to view so I can work with the members of the set. It would be great if there was a way for me to mark them as a favorite so I don't have to keep scrolling through looking for them each time.

Support for browsing, sorting and display by LC classification/call number, regardless of format
I think Alma/Primo should strive to replicate a genuine browsing experience of the stacks as a feature. That functionality adds value to librarians and libraries (we can do things Google can't) and value to titles themselves, because they appear to users in a disciplinary content, part of a visible collection not just part of an aggregation / repository of searchable content.
Better system support for integrated shelf list of print and electronic resources and browsing virtual stacks would be a win/win. It would help librarians maintain strong visible collections (we need the information too) and would help our online users…

Collection Discovery should support Bookshelf (Shelf List) Browse
Collection Discovery is a nice feature in Alma, but it would be much better if it could be a virtual bookshelf browse tool of new titles in user defined disciplines.
Currently, Collection Managers can create collections of titles based on titles sets or title by title additions, but titles within these collections are displayed to users in random order, not as a meaningful collections, and with limited bibliographic information appearing.
The random arrangement is not pleasing, especially in an academic research setting. It would also be ideal to have the ability to be able to harvest out new titles to…
