SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS
When encountering a problem (such as the inability to reactivate a request), could the system provide a pop-up with a definition of the problem and a suggested solution, like Google's "Did you Mean"?

Borrowing Renewal Workflow (non-ISO): Letter to patron in case of a not accepted Renewal Request
If a Renew Request was accepted, a letter (Ful Borrowing Info letter) is sent to the patron.
However, if a Renew Request was not accepted, no letter is sent to the patron.That's what we found in the documentation:

Allow libraries to edit addresses for resource sharing partners downloaded from the resource sharing directory or created by Rapido
SUNY libraries are using several resource sharing partners that were either downloaded from the Alma resource sharing directory or created automatically by our participation in a mixed Rapido pod. Unfortunately, we cannot edit the shipping addresses for these libraries. SUNY uses a courier for in state delivery, and that courier needs addresses to be formatted in a very specific manner. Also, some SUNY libraries supplement their partner address records with additional information to help streamline the shipping process. Have Alma/Primo support the ability to account for coverage dates in physical inventory.
Currently we have a display logic rule in place for articles - so if the item is available in our institution we do not provide a Resource Sharing option for the patron. So - if we do have the item - but not the complete item - (all the dates available) - we need to have the Resource Sharing option available for that patron. The display logic rule doesn't consider coverage dates for the display. ISO partner approves renewal request, renewal is blocked, status changes to “Renewed by partner” but due date does not change,no information
If an ISO partner approves a renewal request but the renewal is blocked due to blocks on our user, the status changes to “Renewed by partner” but the due date does not change and we also do not receive information about the approved new due date via Alma.
Especially the information about the approved new due date would be important.

Hide Pickup Location on Blank ILL Article/Book Chapter Request Form
The Blank ILL article/book chapter request form requires users to select a pickup location. Many libraries do not offer pickup options for articles, they are all delivered electronically. There should be an option to turn off the required pickup location for the Blank ILL article/book chapter request form.

Allow Alma to export preferred names to ILLiad when automatically creating ILLiad user records
When Alma automatically created an ILLiad user record for someone who has submitted a resource sharing request that must be exported to ILLiad, it always passes the First Name and Last Name fields to ILLiad even if the user's records contains a Preferred First Name and/or Preferred Last Name. It would be incredibly helpful if Alma could pass preferred names to ILLiad if the user's record contains any preferred names.

Add Australian Copyright Compliance alongside the American Copyright Compliance option so Australian clients can utilise this feature via the Resource Sharing Borrower Copyright Management parameter.

Select partners from multiple pages when adding to rota or template
When adding partners to a borrowing request rota or rota template, you have the ability to add multiple partners at the same time but only if the partners appear on the same page of the partner pick list. Whenever you move to a different page of the pick list, selections on the previous page are lost.
Alma already has the ability to remember selections across multiple pages in other functional areas (e.g. selecting portfolios for activation from a CZ collection).
It would make creating a rota more efficient if this ability could be extended to the add partners list.12 votes -
Add option to close library for borrowing or lending requests based on format of request
A library can close for borrowing or lending requests and include dates when the library can't process borrowing or lending requests. It would be helpful and provide more efficient processing of borrowing and lending requests if requests could be deflected by format.
As a borrowing library, there are times when a patron's article requests could be processed and sent to a lending library, but a physical request can't be processed.
Borrowing physical requests may not be possible because the physical library building is closed, and the item can't be delivered to the location.

Add Description field to Physical Item Lending Policies in Resource Sharing Directory
We have several different resource sharing lending policies within our country, which depend on the particular reciprocal borrowing agreement we have with our partner libraries. It would be nice to automate this somehow in the future, but, for now, could we have a Description field on the Physical Item Lending Policies form?

Resource Sharing - Add Create Set Functionality from Rapido to New Resource Sharing UI
Rapido includes a create set feature described here: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Media_Repository/Rapido_Product_Documentation/Workflows/01_Rapido_Sets#Creating_Sets. With the new Resource Sharing UI, it would be great if this functionality could be made available to Alma users who do not have Rapido.

Resource Sharing Partner: Contact Information and Parameters tab (multiple e-mail addresses)
In the Alma documentation it is noted that the Contact tab of a Resource Sharing Partner is currently not functional:

Add webhook event for Resource Sharing lending request
Actually we can intercept a RS borrowing request via webhooks in two ways, via a new request event or via a new item event (using a RS location filter), but there seems to be no events for lending request until the resource is located and the temporary RS location is applied. We need a specific webhook event that occur when a RS lending request is created.

Hold Notification letter. With resource sharing, that the notice comes from the library that has the item on hold for pickup.
Because hold notification come from the lending library that has supplied the item, patrons are confused and do not always open and read the notification for directions. Having the hold notification come from the borrowing library where the item actually is waiting on the hold shelf for pick up would clear up the confusion of who has the item.

Enable Advanced search for borrowing and lending requests
Currently Advanced search is not available for Borrowing and Lending requests. The current Alma persistent search box does not provide Resource sharing staff with sufficient access to perform multi level queries.
Direct searching in Alma via Advanced Search would allow staff retrieve specific data such as:
- requests submitted by a specific person and supplied by a specific partner
- requests submitted for Leganto course lists supplied by a specific partner.
- a list of all borrowing requests supplied to a user for copyright compliance reasonsThis functionality would be very useful and time efficient.

Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests - Renewed by Partner Status
It would be great if there was a way to configure requests so that they do not retain the status 'renewed by partner' and instead automatically revert to 'loaned item to patron'

Resource sharing borrowing requests - Overdue Request status
It would be great if Resource Sharing Borrowing Requests could be automatically allocated the status 'Overdue Request' when issued to the borrower, and when the loan 'due date' has passed.

Allow conditionals and general messages to be sent to and received from ILLiad ISO resource sharing partners
The SUNY system has started sending resource sharing borrowing requests dircectly to a non-SUNY library's ILLiad via an ISO ILLiad resource sharing partner. Things are going well for the most part, but we're unable to pass general messages to ILLiad, and we're unable to receive conditional messages from ILLiad. Could you please work with Atlas Systems on allowing these messages to be passed between systems?
