  1. Add number of requested pages of a Digitization Request to Analytics

    In Alma a digitization request shows a note field containing the Start page and End page as submitted via the request form.
    This information doesn't appear in Analytics.
    We would like to be able to report on the number of pages requested for digitization.

  3. Add Normalized Call Numbers to eBook & eJournal Analytic Reports

    Many academic departments ask for accreditation reports that count resources available for students. We typically use Library of Congress Call Number ranges from the OCLC conspectus to get counts of resources. The report runs well for all physical items. However, eBooks and eJournals (both ubiquitous to our collection) do not have normalized call numbers as a part of an analytics report. Therefore the counts of titles between a range of Call Numbers is not correct.

  4. Add general note(s) field from the Electronic Collection Editor to Analytics

    Currently, only the public and authentication notes seem to be available. It would be useful to have a way to find and report on those collections that have general notes added.

  5. Add a new Bibliographic ID field for OCLC Control Number 035z to display each OCN one row per MMS ID

    Currently, a user may retrieve a delimited list of cancelled OCLC control numbers from the OCLC Control Number (035z) attribute under Bibliographic Details. However, this field has limited usefulness for a couple reasons. First, the field has a limit of 256 characters, which means when a bibliographic record shows more than 15 or 16 OCLC numbers have been merged, some numbers are excluded. Second, and more importantly, each individual control number cannot be matched to other cancelled or active control numbers in other records without being split to a separate field first.   6. Add "Vendor invoice number" to PO Line dimension in Analytics

    Please add the "Vendor invoice number" from the Vendor Information section of the PO Line screen to analytics. It should be specifically added to the PO Line dimension.

    This field is necessary for quickly reporting on POLs that have this information stored at the POL level, but are not attached to an invoice. Workarounds include manually looking up the PO, then searching Analytics, but we shouldn't require staff to search Alma if they could directly query Analytics with an invoice number from a PDF or an email.

  7. Alma - Analytics - Users - Add field 'Has password' true/false

    Sometimes users may have no password set. For example, in our system we have some internally managed users left with no password when Alma switched to external IDP. Filtering them in Analytics would be useful, but currently there is no way to do so.

  8. Ability to report on Note (5XX) fields - bibliographic details folder/dimension

    We request that the Bibliographic Details dimension in Alma Analytics have an entry added for Notes, wherever the Subject Area has "Bibliographic Details" presented. This Notes attribute should include all 5XX fields and subfields in the bib record. The data should use a separator (e.g., ;) to identify the information from different and repeated 5XX fields. This is useful information for libraries for reporting purposes.

  9. Invoice Line Price and Additional charges data made available in Analytics

    There is a need in our Acquisition department, and in the Collection Strategies department, to better understand what we spend on tax and freight for individual funds. In past fiscal years we used separate funds dedicated to the freight and tax funds. In this new fiscal year and going forward all funds, as has been practiced with endowment funds, will have freight and tax encumbered and invoiced within the fund itself.   10. Primo Analytics Mixpanel Data Integrated Into Alma Analytics as External Data Resources

    As stated in the Alma Roadmap 2025-2026, "Analytics will support integrations with external data sources, allowing users to analyze data from multiple systems within the Analytics platform." (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Materials/010Roadmap/Alma_Roadmap_Highlights_(2025-2026)/Analytics_and_Insights#Integration_with_External_Data_Resources )
    This new feature is expected to simplify workflows and save time by eliminating the need to access multiple systems, thereby improving staff efficiency and effectiveness.

    It would be highly valuable if Primo Analytics Mixpanel data were considered a priority candidate for inclusion within this consolidation initiative.

  11. Addition of DOIs and Proprietary Identifiers as Title Identifiers to Analytics Criteria

    In Analytics within the Subject Area "Usage Date" the "Book DOI" (Counter R4 Reports) or "DOI" (Counter R5 Reports) are not selectable as Title Identifiers.

    The same is true for "Proprietary Identifier" (Counter R4) or "Proprietary_ID" (Counter R5).

    Since this information is sometimes listed in the corresponding columns of the COUNTER Book reports, it would be helpful if this information could also be retrieved in Analytics.

  12. Request expiration date in Analytics

    We are trying to retrieve a list of items that are about to expire on our holdshelf but it looks like the Request Expiration Date is not available in the Requests subject area in Analytics. We were expecting it to be in the Request Details section.

    Of course, the holdshelf is just a specific case, limited to patron physical item requests, but this idea can be extended to any other request type in which an expiration date is meaningful.

  13. Add primary/user id of a Interested User as a Fund Expenditure Facet

    Several Institutions have use cases that require the need to find the Primary ID of an interested User. This would allow an easier means of utilizing feeder reports in conjunction with the Fulfilment Subject Area. Currently, there is no easy way to obtain this information.   14. Track data on what in a record was modified, and add that data to analytics.

    We run a couple reports that look at when a record was last modified. But there are many reasons why a record might be marked as "modified". It would be great if we could create filters on what in the record was modified, such as item status, location change, barcode change, note added, etc. This could allow for things such as running reports on what items had their fulfillment note last modified after "X" date.

  15. Add "Loans (Not in House) From Resource Sharing Lending Request" measure

    Currently in the Fulfillment subject area in Analytics, there is a measure for "Loans (Not in House) From Resource Sharing Borrowing Request". It would be helpful if any item loaned from our collection to another institution as part of a RS lending request have a loan measure applied to it as well so we can see how the collection is being used using just one report.

  16. Add option in Analytics to report on user notes that are set to pop up note

    Alma does not currently offer the ability to use Analytics to identify user notes that are set to pop up. We would like to be able to more easily identify these notes that are set to pop up to prioritize them during a user note clean up project.

  17. Make “Public access model for “Owned” purchase model” retrievable in Analytics query

    When an Ebook Central ebook in the CZ is both owned and available in a subscribed subscription collection, the unlimited users license appears in the portfolio tab Acquisitions/Public Access model, and the number of users for the owned copy appears in "Public access model for "Owned" purchase model." Analytics cannot report out '“Public access model for “Owned” purchase model” in any case. All I can get is Public Access Model.   18. Adding the borrower code stats to the patron detailstable in the fullfiment subject area

    The fullfiment subject area contains several tables related to the readers who borrowed the document including the "patron details" and "borrower details" tables. According to the documentation the data stored in the patron detail table are the characteristics of the reader at the time of the transaction. The "borrower details" table stores the characteristics of the reader at the time of the request.
    It would be useful if the patron statistical codes were stored in the "patron details" table so that they can be historized.

  19. Choose start month in Alma Analytics schedule

    Alma Analytics has been improved by a lot in ways of scheduling reports. But I am still missing a way to choose a start month when scheduling a quarterly or bimonthly report.

    You can choose a recurrence pattern (eg. monthly, recur every nth month), but there is no way to choose a month for the next run. Each change in recipients or touching the analytics object may start a new interval.

    When choosing a weekly interval, you can also choose a weekday. An option for choosing a month should be added for monthly schedules.

  20. Add read-only parameter to Users > Role

    In the Users subject area, you can report on roles, but not if a role is read-only. This means that reporting on who has administrator roles is very confusing and implies more access than may actually exist. That value needs to be added to this subject area.
